I really love this podcast. This trio is absolute gold and I wish we got to see it more often. CS just isn't the same without Semmler on the cast or Duncan and Rich on the desk.
I started watching CS during the pandemic so I kinda missed out on RL and thorin (although I praise them for the content they make) but I surely miss Semmlar casting
Semmler and Richard Lewis are dogshit casters, good for this type of shit tho.
This group is so good together. CS talent is good now but it will never again be as good as this era of talent.
When they asked to name MIBR players I felt as if I encountered a Sphinx and he threw his hardest riddle at me from the get go :(

Great show, always a priority watch when I see it in my feed. Happy as fuck to see ENCE doing well - I've been a glory supporter for them in CS, but I was a fan of ENCE's R6S team with Shatte and Kanto from way back and it feels good to hear them succeeding as an org. Off the back of great management too!

@Aoi Shi there most definitely are talents in terms of pure aim. However, why play cs when valo gives more money. Anddd new cs players in na have no real way to improve well, so talents can’t actually prove themselves

Talk about EG, the players and the coaches, but I'm a firm believer that Peak 6 has been running the org far worse than under the previous period where their future was uncertain and they had far less resources. The fact that Ryan Towey left, who was instrumental in bringing in all their championship winning teams should have been a major red flag. This org has money but no idea what to do with it.

I actually knew all of the MIBR players, but just wasn't 100% sure if exit was part of the team. I do agree tho, they're pretty unremarkable lol.
I got all 5 for MIBR, but just because i almost watched all of their matches in the qualifier.
They said it, Heroic players should be in Astralis. Imagine the lineup:
Glaive IGL, BlameF Lurker, Stavn Hybrid Awp, Konfig Hybrid Awp, Sjussh/Refresh as Support whoever fits rolewise better. I would like to fit TeSes too but that would be too jank.
Farlig has been nice with it tho, I am sure 0 primary awpers would yield success but not consistent success.
Would love to see a Brazilian team where they take Pain and Furia and put together a great team. I mean i love seeing arT, yuurih, KSCERATO, Biguzera and nython. I dont know much about the teams so honestly dont even know who is the IGL, supports and so on from the teams, but i must admit i like seeing their playstyle. Even as a dane I enjoy it more to watch Furia, Pain, ENCE and FAZE over watching a full danish roster team like Astralis and Heroic, actually hate Heroic.
I would like to see Rush go back to completely for Fang. Maybe through Daps/Stan in there in place of JT. Leaning towards Daps, he has a better track record molding up and coming talent. He could probably help Floppy, Grim, Junior
Why did Semmler and Thorin turn down the major?
Stewie is a leader by his emotion and his plays. He is the player in Basketball who can go and get you a bucket to swing the momentum. Stewie is not a leader in the IGL sense. As a IGL you need to be a coach in the server. He is not that. He knows how to play his game. EG needs to bring in someone respected in the NA scene like a SeanGares maybe.

But tbh Stewie should better stay with being a 2nd IGL. He is too versatile to stay as a IGL ,he could've become a top tier utility player in the market after leaving Liquid but it's too bad he is choosing to be an IGL.

If you watch some of the BTS videos Ence upload on their RUclips, it's easy to see that the players have a great friendship togehter. I'm sure their chemistry outside of the game has had a big impact on their in game performances.
Thorin is right regarding naming MIBR players. Not even close.
Honestly I see liquid as a dark horse to make playoffs, they have been solid and I think their results are overly criticized when you consider they traveled to 3 different parts of the world in like a month for the past 3 tournaments. they went from NA to germany to romania and then back to NA and their results have been a little shaky at worst.
I actually agree I could see them making it but not much else maybe if they catch fire they’ll make a run. But yeah I think there’s a little over-hate going on, besides what you mentioned literally everyone just finds it fun to shit on NA so that plays a part

if you watch eg play they'll call timeouts and then have an amazing game plan the next round and just lose all the gun fights. you can clearly see maleks influence while they flop

Agree with grim and floppy being quality but absolutely not that theyre primed to go kill it in valorant unless theyve been playing it on the side. The time where cs players can just switch and be good immediately is very much over and floppy was already poor in valorant when he tried (+ his head was never really in that game he said as much himself)

What I do know is he has some personal projects in progress where he lives. It is quite hard to juggle that much stuff alongside scheduling to stream on the daily.
Ence can definitely get to legend status and, depending on the opponents, the final itself. If Spinx carries on posting the same kind of numbers then its going to be a challenge for other teams, it's also good that the last tournament shows that others can step up if he has an off day. A top 4 finish would be great for them IMO.

And that doesn't mean smaller teams should face smaller teams. I think for it to be fair everybody should play with everybody to decide who is the best.
That's not possible tho it would take so long. So I think this system is as close as we can get to that.

We can sit and ignore the real dark horse all we want, big clan is probably one of the biggest threat faze faces, and they have the capability to upset any team. We forget the obvious map advantage they pull over faze causing a 2/0 upset in the rmr. Faze hard bans vertigo, big punish picks dust 2, guaranteed win for big clan on one map, they then just need to pull off one more map and they win the bo3.

If you aim at the head like your supposed to and can actually spray there is nothing wrong with the M4a1-S. Just sounds like y'all relied on the AK doing more damage than the M4A4 and didn't need to worry about getting out sprayed on the AK.
