There's such a big contrast between karrigan and niko mentality in the way they approach failures. Karrigan straight up said that the Boston major was so bullshit he didn't even bother watching it, theres nothing to learn there. He view failures as a process leading to success, he can let it all go and start fresh, and he did it many times with different rosters. It shows in the way faze shrugging off weird round losses then proceed to beat the shit out of other teams. NiKo’s answer at 9:33 is actually very indicative of his problem. He believes that people stopped talking shit about s1mple because he cemented himself as possibly the GOAT/won a major. And while that may be true, s1mple also changed a lot, with the help of people like b1ad3 and time itself as he grew, but he also genuinely learned to be a team-centered, more calm, understanding, and mature person along the way. Which ultimately led to the change in public perception of s1mple along with his accolades. As for dev1ce, what he did deserved the criticism and shift in perception of his person. Nikos problem is 100% has the same problem that the old Navi had they both have to stop thinking & playing like this is a solo game once Navi + simple learned you have to play as a team too Win thats when things MIGHT change. Imo and yes idk him at all but from watching him for so long I can 👀 he's not fully playing as a Team. As far as winning goes idk maybe try to change up your thinking tactics and evolve with your team instead of always thinking you're better & higher up then they are. Besides raw mechanics & aim your nothing without Team play. And yes something else is wrong it couldn't have been all the igl's faults that he played with no way I like niko but imo he just doesn't know how to be apart of a Team once that leaps taken everyone will shut up its in his hands
This guy is the Ronaldo of csgo, very talenter an capable of magic but Everywhere he goes the team cant reach max level. Karrigan became "god" (ig) after Niko, Aleksib is top5 but looks like a beginner. I just feel that Nico is the reason (problem?) for theese teams not succeeding, everywhere he goes they "underperform" EVERYWHERE
Karrigan stepped up massively because (according to rain) he no life’s aim practice 24/7 now Also what did faze achieve before they had another massive upgrade in ropz? Yeah nothing they bombed out of every tournament early and the deepest run they made 2021 was a 4th place
But Karrigan is Karrigan he knows how to win, because he drop him self to setups teammates,he don’t play for stats but he plays for win, and this is your problem NIKO,
IDK if its the way hes being questioned or sth, but his answers sounds a bit desperate and pessimistic. With this kind of mentality, i dont think he will ever win a tournament, let alone a major. NiKo brother...yes Karrigan is 32 but he is IGL, they can afford to not have the best aim and reflexes. Once you get older its only downhill. Dont piss of the years and push for major ASAP.
so every baseball player who hits 30 should retire because by your genius logic, they no longer have the reflexes to hit a fastball. It's crazy to see this psuedo-science being parroted as fact all over the scene. The truth is no one knows yet, but based on other sports, guys like s1mple and niko should be able to play into their thirties. The only players who have even come close to Niko's aim are twistzz and b1t. It's not like we have a new batch of aimers who are even magically better than Niko and are going to put him to shame. @@jeremy_1999u what????? Tom Brady is in his mid forties and still a top QB. Jordan could've averaged 20 ppg at 40+ if he wanted. @@peepopoo4387 bro as much as you may laugh, reaction time is something that cannot be trained as much as your body can when it comes to typical sports, medical research and physical care has increased so much in typical sports and thats whats allowing people to stay in the game for so much longer, and before you argue about the baseball one with CS, there is a slight difference that actually has massive consequences to it, you can see when hes going to throw the ball, that may not seem like much but that makes all the difference, as opposed to walking around a corner in CS and trying to out react a fucking 19 year old whos reaction times are possibly in their prime

@@TopOnTops Dude. You can call for sure Niko a Goat when it comes to the rifle. His raw aim is brutal
Talent alone won't take you to greater heights. NiKo might be one of the most skilled players ever, but his mentality will drag him down.
bruh you act like you know him personally XD
@@limeandlimpidgreen2530 Bruh you act like there isn't plenty of interviews with Niko that anyone can watch or how about all the times he rages when he plays.... Ever heard of empathic accuracy?
@@satisfaction__ shut up nerd. All of Nikos teammates like playing with him and people like rain said he was the hardest worker he's played with.
he's just not s1mple
@@darudesandstorm072
s0mple? KEKW, s0mple, just has an incredible work ethic. He is not really a talented player
I think someting is missing here niko was not in mousesports main lineup tho , he was substitute/benched bcs i think mousesports doesnt trust him yet that time and then faze ask niko to be stand-in , in tournaments gaming paradise I believe and niko play out of his mind insanely good and then suddenly mousesports want niko to join on main roster . And yeah after that niko basically carried mouz all the time
what? that mouz team was "jokingly" called nikosports. he was the team and when he was benched, mouz never recovered. I think niko was sick of the team and wanted to move on hence the period of him being benched.
He was brought in to replace nooky, but ended up replacing Spiidi who left for a couple of months. The plan as I remember was always to get him into active roster
Love how those no live noobs comments on what’s the problem with niko and team, at same time cant get higher than mg3 but still thinks they are absolutel masterminds of this game
exactly. it's almost like playing on the highest level of CS is fucking hard
People in the comments saying niko will never win the major? How do you guys know? Simple lost 2 major finals before winning his first major, Karrigan won his 1st major at 32, People say niko is a choker but Simple has lost 3 out of 4 major finals he has played , by that logic Simple is the actual choker. Niko will win his major, It's only a matter of time, Just like it was for Simple before Stockholm.
Can't wait to see the new roster!Maybe his time to win a tourney has come.
G2 will have a new roster?
Yes the new roster that will last 2 months before niko throws his tantrum again and get the new igl kicked.

not winning boston or katowice
@@santana2993 In that case I regret not winning a million dollars.

the better wording would be he regrets not playing well in boston
NiKo needs an IGL who can use him to full potential and unlock those great crisp taps and crazy sprays.
it's really funny watching people bash niko's mentality as if they have a fucking clue what goes on behind the scenes. he's the GOAT rifler and and anyone saying they wouldnt want him on their team is a casual
God I hope he and zywoo both win a major.
And say what you want about who he is, but you can’t deny his skill at the game

Agreed, Skillwise, NiKo is a one in a million.
1/2 achieved
Will always love NiKo's FaZe era
Yes, its inevitable imo!
Hi Niko, when major?
09:53 yeah bro that is your Nick name fans give it to you, like we give s1mple s0mple, ZywOo zywho? And stuff like this
In my opinion he is most skillful player of cs go history... he is only rifler competing with awpers like S1mple, zywoo, dev1ce... even I am awper myself but I accept playing awp is easier than rifle.... he is using his AK like awp... his crazy taps are incredible... but His mental weakness works against him and his team always... I hope he will get Paris Major... he deserves.
NiKo's K/D is always lower than his rating unlike other superstars. Because he is getting high ratings with his impact. He has the highest ADR every year. He is getting so many entry kills, he got more opening kills than jackzz( who supposed to be entry ) in last 3-4 events. This is why he was #3 last year instead of sh1ro. He has lower rating but he was more impactful for team. You dont need to be genious to see how impactful NiKo is.
NIKO GOAT
GOAT
feels like therapy for niko
It seems that hurdle of expecting to win a major as opposed to expecting yourself to perform has stopped many great players
the fight is between NiKo and himself
he's a very good player but he loses his edge if he rages
he loses his focus
im sure his time will come alongside his cousin huNter
and i like the fact people call him being egotistical like bruh this is the same guy who carried the main mouz roster before shifting to FaZe
Karrigan won his first major at 32 while Niko is 25
s1mple lost more majors before winning his first major
NiKo's time will come and the guys who called him "NiKo was the problem"
are the same guys who would even greet him winning his first major
What regrets ? Its just a recollection of events where's dropping karrigan regret and picking igls who are washed who only fit in with your ego. His mentality is ass and gets tilted by igls so easily
Paris Major I hope 2 see u win
Niko is too good to not be at the top.
I think he’s the most talented aimer or top 3 that has played cs
With all those tournament highlights... you can immediately tell how bad was Pgl Stockholm 's audio quality... literally terrible...all u could hear was 5 guys shouting
The pgl audio guy can never get enough hate
Imagine NiKo just asked huNter
to join FaZe instead of coldzera LUL
And look at where FaZe are going right now
Definitely a tons of REGRETS I guess
It is okay NiKo, even R9 never won a Champions League
But R9 won the world cup :)
He is 25 there is stoll plenty of time all g2 needs is a better entry (which would be yekindar) and they would be destined to succeed
Funny he didn’t mention how he pushed karigan out of faze
Depression in one vid
There has to be a reason why nikos teams dont succeed.. and they don't bounce back like other teams.. I imagine there are issues that we won't be made aware of.
most of the players at his level had a major win already. Niko is the last one.
Zywoo ? and many others ...

It always feels like Niko is this close and then he does something stupid and he has to start over again.
Biggest mistake is to think people will stop talking shit.
Chase something because you want it, not because someone else doesn't want it for you. Also stop reading hltv comments.
lmao even now he complains about karrigan. "we should not have picked OVP against C9" why dont u just say "yeah dumb fking pick karrigan, gee thanks". this guy has changed but probably still not enough to not be bitter about a freaking round loss, map or match. he surrounds himself with yes sayers but people with authority always seem to be let-go after some time
Niko won't ever win a cs go major....
Karrigan stepped up massively because (according to rain) he no life’s aim practice 24/7 now
Also what did faze achieve before they had another massive upgrade in ropz? Yeah nothing they bombed out of every tournament early and the deepest run they made 2021 was a 4th place
Faze up

Tmw you think you can IGL but u can't 😂
But Karrigan is Karrigan he knows how to win, because he drop him self to setups teammates,he don’t play for stats but he plays for win, and this is your problem NIKO,
Hero's are remembered.. Legends never die
IDK if its the way hes being questioned or sth, but his answers sounds a bit desperate and pessimistic. With this kind of mentality, i dont think he will ever win a tournament, let alone a major.
Maybe just letting it all go and enjoy the moment is a better option, at least he can pop off at important moments with less pressure.
Niko has always been very blunt and honest. I actually appreciate his candor.
This is why he’s the team destroyer.
@@Nerdywr you kids didn't watch G2 right before Niko's arrival, I guess ? What team he destroyed ? A faze that wasn't winning shit for a pretty long period wich players pretty soon retired or went into tier10 teams or a G2 that were literally worst G2 ever before his arrival ?

I would've been happier if someone like Guardian and Olof got the trophy instead and I'm from NA. Ska showed how much he loved the game by quitting after winning the fluke major. That C9 team didn't even believe in themselves afterwards...
In the moment I was so happy but now seeing how they ended up I wish FaZe won Guardian needed that in his trophy case way more than Ska same with Karrigan over Tarik and it seems now that major win and grand slam has gone to stews head seeing how the end of liquid and EG went for him
@@youcantrustmem8 i don't say i hate Faze clan or something but the only one i feel sad is Guardian, he left without becoming Major champion
@@hoangvuminh6436 Fair though at that time while really good players none of the C9 player screamed legend that needed a major trophy except maybe ska but he was only a world class awper for like a year in like 2014 or 15 and that one day at Boston while the other side were star studded with some of the best Europe had to offer missing that title and after FaZe still made finals and won occasionally that C9 roster would never again reach close to that height

Probably not…
How about you man up and say that you were wrong about Karrigan
If you don't qualify for the event you won't regret I guess
this didnt age wwell xDDD
NiKo brother...yes Karrigan is 32 but he is IGL, they can afford to not have the best aim and reflexes. Once you get older its only downhill. Dont piss of the years and push for major ASAP.
so every baseball player who hits 30 should retire because by your genius logic, they no longer have the reflexes to hit a fastball. Do people really believe this when we have athletes playing PHYSICAL sports at the highest level in their late 30's and 40's? It's crazy to see this psuedo-science being parroted as fact all over the scene. The truth is no one knows yet, but based on other sports, guys like s1mple and niko should be able to play into their thirties. The only players who have even come close to Niko's aim are twistzz and b1t. It's not like we have a new batch of aimers who are even magically better than Niko and are going to put him to shame. His aim transcends generations.
@@peepopoo4387 what??? Literally most sports athletes have retired by 40 tf you on about
@@jeremy_1999u what????? Tom Brady is in his mid forties and still a top QB. Jordan could've averaged 20 ppg at 40+ if he wanted. People used to think tennis players were washed by their mid to late twenties. Athletes will continue to prove people like you wrong. Of course youth is always a good thing, but I think people put too much stock into it. Travis Pastrana is one of my favorite people and he's 38 still pushing things to the limit despite breaking every bone in his body. Different sports have different life expectancies and we simply don't know what Counter Strike's is. You guys could be right that people are washed by their mid twenties, but there is another side where the wear and tear of the game is minimal and people could play at the highest level for years.
@@peepopoo4387 why are you comparing real sports with esports?
Bring NEXA back please
Niko is undoubtedly a great player, one of the greatest of all time, but calling karrigan overrated set himself up to fail by making sure they would keep getting their achievements compared. Karrigan is one of the most decorated veteran igls in the game, someone who has consistently taken lesser inexperienced players and turned them into contenders. Ropz credits karrigan with his massive individual growth and success. If you call someone with that resume overrated then who can possibly match up and be your igl?
Change your attitude NiKo 🙈
Once Niko wins a Major, he needs another. He choked to much for one major to change the image he gave himself. Let that Ego go niko. You can’t IGL to save your life
