#mbbs #medical #neet
My dad, he passed medical college about 30-35 years ago, and he tells us all the stories about ragging and incidents, he says it was so terrible that kids had to hide in the graveyard near by, at night, like waking up kids to beat them up point out there insecurities... It was beyond just fun hazing ... And he says that seniors who really went to town with "ragging" they were shut off by most of the batch even their own batchmates didn't like them so .. that should never happen cause it's down right criminal?
Ragging is way too light now .
if done in moderation I believe it helped in removing shyness and even that little stress helped you bear the personal insults your professor will give you😂😂.
plus it instill that respect for senior in you which is absolutely missing now days .
You can't even learn one skill in your pg without senior so it's your choice..
Remember senior in mbbs and senior in pg is just whole dimensions different.
You can't survive in pg without them
Loving Ll thw podcasts till now. Definitely cleared the air around ragging and I do appreciate yall's honesty about everyhting. Loving these just so much!
I think mbbs is like shadi wala ladoo jo khata h usko hi pta chlta h ki reality kya h ...neet aspirants ko bhot achi life imagine krwate h coaching me....but exactly bhot different h medical colgs
Loved advika's point on ragging that you don't need some rude seniors for adulting and all, you will eventually learn it on your own. I just hope more people realise this thing because this ragging scenario(especially in the colleges of up/bihar) is very toxic and it is not PDP(which akshaj said because you getting abused for no reason and being made to follow absurd rules by seniors doesn't develop your personality it just makes you more toxic as a person and you will continue this same BS culture on your upcoming juniors)
It's up to you , wether you and ur batch wants to continue this ragging thing for ur juniors or just decide to stop this from ur batch itself so that this is not repeated.
I'm a medical student too and I can relate to so many things you guys said! all these topics were necessary for all the upcoming med students cause I remember back in 2020 when I was joining med school and I had no one to tell me how much life was gonna change back then. thank you so much both of you for doing this topic! 🫶🏻
6:43 ---- MY Fav!, I always said this in my head 3 years back but never got to read or listen this Phrase anywhere...ab sunke accha lag rha hai -- ki it IS really True!
um yes I'm w advika on the ragging one, completely against ragging. maybe bec y'all are from the north, and specially a metropolitan city, you haven't experienced the real ragging. but here in the southern and eastern states of india, ragging is very intense, especially for the boys. they literally hurt you physically, emotional and mental abuse toh daily basis pe hota. I've many friends in medical colleges here in south and east, and the type of ragging they face is literally straight up abuse. there have been extreme cases where people have chosen to take their own lives.
i think what akshaj meant by "personality development" is friendly banter w the seniors where their sole intention isn't to hurt you physically/emotionally, but just tease you. it's different from ragging.
ragging itself is a very much a real issue and it should stop.
Nah i think akshaj view on ragging that you will get hurt mentally by seniors(like getting abused mc, bc all the times when u talk with seniors) and follow rules like whole batch go in a line, can't talk eye to eye with seniors,be a chicken(murga) if you break rule etc etc. I know it's not much and a mentally strong person can easily face such type of ragging but in my opinion it is also very pointless to me. It's just toxic
I love this episode
This is so amazing and i was waiting for this episode ❤️❤️
Thank you 🫶🏻✨
Candid peek into college life, as it is happening, here and now. Interesting and fun to watch😁
Papa aap?🌞
I was eagerly waiting for this video ❤ Yeahh it's finally here❤😊 btw love your podcast guyzzz
Personality development includes mental harrasment not physical one. In the era we talks about mental health. Some toxic people justify it saying you will face in life.
It would be wonderful if people stopped acting like shit
Also it's not that hard to give respect to people
another banger thanks for keeping us more and more motivated
I m just obssessed with your content..for me its really relaxing motivating nd fun ofc❤
These casual talks🤩✨
I like today's rapid fire questions 😄
Loved it ❤
Hey advika and akshaj❤
I'm not a mbbs student or neet aspirant but I love to watch and hear your podcast❤❤
Loved itt ❤
I'm. So against Ragging . what's the point of personality development with ragging i don't get it and more of if senior will make me friends with so many people is it even going to works if i don't even talk after ragging . i think this is just a subtle way of senior wants to show yeah I'm above you and u shd make my practicals and manuals idek why do they don't make themselves . how making manuals make ours personality development . . I'm with Advika . they shd stop doing it cause we even signed legal anti ragging form before entering the college
I totally agree with advika's view on ragging. I dont see the point in ragging at all
That vdo has got 10k likes advika.
Yeeeeee... Hurehhhh🐥🍇🍇
I m a 2nd yr mbbs student from Assam! Thank u ❤
Ragging is NOT personality development, how can any type of abuse be considered as a part of maturing???

Actually akshaj's pov on "personality development" (abuse not included) actually made me feel a bit better...
