Hit by a car? How do you deal with insurance?

- Having been hit twice now by at-fault drivers, I've had the pleasure of dealing with insurance companies a few times. Here are some tips to help you navigate the process.
funny i just found this channel, but i was recently hit in my neighborhood, less than mile away from home. this was helpful.
my issue was nothing was damaged but superficial damage. still pisses me off when a pain job on the bike was 1500.
Hi! My got hit yesterday, he was riding his bike from school to home, while on the way home he got hit by a car that about to turn and my son said he was looking at the other side of the the road. He got hit at the left shoulder part and got out balance and fell on the ground. He didn’t feel the pain right away but after few hours he said he’s having a hard time moving his left arm up. So I told them him to go ER. My son is 17 years old, first time he got accident, and the guy didn’t initiate to give his information but my son took a picture on his car. He said he offer him a cash but my son refused it. So we file a police report after ER. Nothing serious but the pain on his shoulder and leg.
After what just happened in Texas. It made me think about my cycling, getting hit, and insurance? Great video!

What happened in TX? I live in DFW and I just bought my first bike as an adult, Cannondale Quick CX-4. I’m excited to ride this but people drive crazily here. lol.
I get hit by cars just by walking on a sidewalk Crazy drivers nowadays I' never even had an accident in not in any car any truck in over years Really not even a Fender Bander not at all
