“Your current situation is not your final destination” Mikes always got the one liners
That end in “ation”
his one liners evolved through practice. dude mastered it
oh yea...really deep...mind blowing.....philosophical almost.....please be quiet
@@brettlinthicum6649 try commenting something nice rather then trying to be funny
“Imagine what I could achieve if I committed to succeeding?”
Gotta have respect for the situation. Dude turned his life around like no other. Great work JJ
Are you also from Jersey Joe Calacci lol
he really is a success story in my eyes, he doesn't even exaggerate, his ego is on point, very humble honest man, watched him from the very beginning jersey shore days
same and used to despise him. Now after going through a similar path and seeing how far he’s come he’s nothing short of my hero and an inspiration.
This 30 minutes flew by!! Unbelievable how engaging he is.. humble situation is the best situation
I give Mike a ton of credit for coming back and honestly, simply growing into a better human. Awesome for Jerry to get him talking so clearly and openly. Good stuff here
This hit deep. I’m glad Mike is showing us Italians in a good-light.
Going to court tmrrw. Probably getting sent to rehab. Today is the day I’m turning my life around. Not for anyone other than myself and my mother.
I truly wish you all the best in your quest to accomplish that - one day at a time but the key is wanting to do it so kudos to you dude
Buckle up and take everything in… all the signs are there my friend stay strong!!
Wish you the best
Good luck. Do what they tell you to do
Stay strong, you got this!
Yet another unreal conversation. The man never misses. Make it permanent
I worked with mike for like 5 days at a la fitness and spoke to him maybe 3 times and he was really nice and super funny. Happy he’s doing well.
Mike is truly an inspiration and a beam of hope to anyone who has struggled or is currently struggling with addiction. I have the utmost respect for him 💙
It’s one of the hardest things a person can do. People like to think it’s so easy but they haven’t been through it just can’t understand. IMO one of the worst parts about pain killer addiction is many people got addicted because of a medical problem and never ever would have become addicted if it wasn’t for the medical problem. Most people I know that are or were addicted to painkillers/opioids all started from a medical problem. Even people that are very strong will get addicted if they take them long enough to get sick when they stop taking them and before you know it ur not taking them to get high ur taking them to feel normal to not feel sick. People have no problem with their tax money going to pay for cops, border patrol and everything involved with the war on drugs but people do not want to help addicts they think addicts are the devil but that’s all completely wrong the drug dealers are the devil! We need to offer free rehab and help addicts restart their lives after rehab. Then we force the medical industry come up with much better non narcotic pain killers this is the key to helping people never get addicted because so many people get addicted from medical issues all of this will help current addicts get off drugs and avoid people from ever becoming addicted so over a few years we would absolutely see a massive drop in opioid deaths and addicts. The only reason why drugs come into this country is because we have drug users! You can’t win a war on drugs by putting drug dealers, drug mules in prison the only way to really make an impact is getting the drug addicts off drugs and stop people from ever getting addicted in the first place! If people don’t do drugs then there would be no drugs coming into the country again they only come into the country because we use them. Every drug dealer that goes to prison there is another dealer taking over that dealers spot the next day there will always be another dealer, gang, cartel just waiting to take over. Some countries give people the death sentence if caught with drugs but people still do them and dealers still sell them because the drugs are strong and there’s soo much money for them to make. I’m way too scared to go to jail plus I value my freedom too much and I don’t want to be responsible for ruining peoples lives so I could never even think about dealing drugs but I can see how some people that have the balls to risk their life’s to do it because they make so much money and easy money. Many people grew up super poor then they start selling drugs and then they have the money to buy anything they want. Man I wish drugs were never invented such a terrible thing. Alcohol really is a very bad drug too IMO many people I know go to the bar and/or drink at home basically as their hobby that’s what they do for fun and they think I’m weird because I don’t drink anymore but once you stop drinking for a while you realize you were wasting ur life and money drinking you wake up in the morning feeling great and after a few months you will not miss drinking anymore you will look back like why did I drink?
This show should be massive. I’m rooting BIG TIME for JJ.
Mike made Jersey Shore the success that it became.
Mike is really well-spoken and his thinking is very clear.
New Year’s Eve 2023. Tomorrow on Monday I will be two weeks sober After years and years and years of battling alcoholism. I finally got to the point to where I was mentally ready to say enough is enough and walk away.
I quit cold turkey.
I don’t even crave alcohol anymore. I no longer have a taste for it. Which is crazy because I used to drink alcohol for breakfast about 5:30 AM almost every morning I would start first thing.
2024 is the year to open a new door
#sobriety
That’s great man keep it that way
I'm based in the UK and have never seen Jersey Shore or heard of this guy but great interview. I have been trying to turn my own life around from an early life of crime and addiction and this was very inspirational. 👍👊
Didn’t they have a show in the UK called Jordey Shore? Jersey shore was the original version of that
@@jeb419 yes, thats right. I believe It was mainly women who loved it though. They had a similar thing called (The only way is Essex) over here.
I was in my 30s getting drunk at a Yankees game against the blue jays. Canadian tourist at the stadium. The NYC girls around me asked if I ever watched Jersey Shore. Nope ! Then I went home and binged watch it. Loved it ever since. Is it juvenile at times, YES. That’s what I loved about it.
Mikes a great guy man. I have so much respect for the way he’s turned it around. Also he’s still hilarious. A natural born comedian lol. Still ripped up, holy hell 😂😂
He is funny. Reminds me of my brother
Dude that's legit!! Glad I came across this. The struggles in recovery are very real. Well done Mike! 👍
It's great to see Mike in such a great place. I was never a fan of Jersey Shore but he is very humble and a great example for people struggling with addiction.
Podcast is definitely life changing in the fact that Jerry is putting it out there that change can transpire for anyone and everyone who wants it bad enough
He’s actually a good dude, he was just on a ridiculous show making a lot of money and high on pills. Glad he could pull it all together
My biggest issue with this, is trying to subscribe and realizing I’m already subscribed. What an amazing interview! I had never found myself being a fan of the situation but Jersey Jerry gave him that platform to be real and drop the character. I’m late to the game here but if he hasn’t interviewed Craig Carton yet, I’d love to see that chemistry!
Grew up near New Brunswick, NJ and ended up in Southern California. This is great interview and I love seeing ppl from Jersey win. You got new subscriber.
Thanks for doing this Mike. You are king. Much love man. I know you have been beat up, and its nice to hear your story.
So happy for MIke and his family. Life can be such a blessing when you travel your ROAD.
New FEMALE subscriber here from JERSEYYY! I’ve watched the jersey shore since the first episode aired and have been a fan since. I’m So happy for Mike for how far he’s come, for his beautiful family, successful business and almost 7 years of sobriety! I was also addicted to opiates for ten years before I was able to stop. It was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to overcome in my life so being able to watch people like mike go through what he did while dealing with my own recovery was huge for me. Great podcast!
Another great interview, it was always Friend of Jerry!
The situation is awesome. You wouldn’t have thought he would get sober and be a cool humble dude.
Love Mike. Dude turned his life around. Great story.
Absolutely loved this podcast and mike's story. He's definitely came a long way.
Loved watching this - great questions and flow and very inspiring story. Congrats on 7 years mike! 🎉
I'm a female and I haven't missed a show. I hope they keep you around. Really important message you are giving the people. Never a Bad day or a Sad day with JJ.

Great episode!
2 legends in one room
This was great
Good for you Mike!!
Gotta get these guest to tell more stories when they were in active addiction like hisndrug dealing or whatnot. I thibk it really helps give perspective to people who are in it or going through and can relate to thesenpeople like damn that sounds like me or can relate to a wild story and see that guest is “x” amount ofnyears sober now. Its great hearing about all their sobriety but get details on both sides so people can relate and really see hownfar some people have came to where they are today. Good shit jerry keep workin baby
Awesome work Jerry!
Jerry you are a gift from god keep up the grind 💯
Amazing story!
Great man 🙏 Great story and pulled himself out the slums of addiction 👏

Didn’t have the money, fame, or cars, but I fought opiate addiction since 2009, multiple rehabs, detoxes, overdoses still couldn’t get me to change. Please get help!!! God bless sober since 2015
“surrender”. that’s when everything changed for me. after i surrendered.
Mike is the biggest star in reality tv history
Love the UA 855 sticker on the laptop
Jersey Jerry brought me back to barstool.

I love you Mike. I'm so proud of you brother. You have been humbled and turned your life completely around.
I admit, I'm quite the fan. Really have respect for you after the journey
This is actual fire lol
Wow. What a great interview. I never got into Jersey shore. Just not my kind of thing. But this was really cool. I have a lot of respect for the situation now. I did think it was funny how many times they said the word "situation". Lol.
I love how he pronounces withdrawal
never seen a hairstyle like that. very cool
LOL THE HAIR
Mike just seems like such a nice intelligent guy
Onya mike!!!
Solid-
Yeah we gotta wait on that because the situation is under construction right now😂
I highly highly highly commend him for going through withdrawals on national TV. How he didn’t shit his pants or lay in bed for days is beyond me.
Good show as usual JJ!! No sponsor but gets 4x views then Token CEO🤔
We need Steve-o on this and you on wildride.
I'm glad he got sober and doing good. He was hated character in the jersey shore group. I always thought that the rest of the cast had groupthink. And they ganged up on him. That must've also took a toll on him living with ppl and being the blacksheep.
April 10th 11years sober. OxyContin and alcohol was my vice
