Truly makes the meaning "Gunpla is Freedom" literal. I knew this freedom was gonna be better than the original, but I think it should have been an complete overhaul rather than a 1.5 kit. Great review as always!
I have nothing against the arms, skirt, and leg frame parts, they can reuse those all they want, it's the hips that are really holding this kit back, and I think that part should've been overhauled on top of what they did. Anyway, thank you!

If they erect statues of all the RG releases before the Unicorn all over the world, we might get a crack at a 1.5 for all of them. Hopefully we'd see something come down the line, as I won't mind them being premium to avoid taking up a retail RG slot

After watching this I must say I'm impressed. My only question is, is the shoulder to arm connection hold up better than the original? That shoulder to arm connection has gotten soo loose that it can no longer hold the weight of the gun when the arm is extended.
The HGCE is easily the best option for on a budget, but yeah, they could use the engineering for the older RGs in order to improve them for a remastered release. Kinda wish they came up with this for the GBR kits though, missing weapons for them notwithstanding.

"Is the one at minute 0:54 to 1:03 of the video" As if that Is the case I Will ve getting it to clone that part specifically as my Freedom, Strike Freedom, Justice and Destiny suffer from that connection and the arms fall off all the Time T.T
Unfortunately not. The torso frame is new, like I said, and that also includes new sockets to connect the new shoulders, and new slots to connect the new armor designed for this kit alone. No say whether they'd take the engineering and use it for re-releases of older kits, but so far they're designed for this kit alone

Something's off about the head, even compared to the Full Mechanics. I still think the MG 1.0 has the best head for Freedom. Really nice and informative review btw. I hope can get this kit, even from resellers.

Keep an eye out, as it may be like the Nu Gundam FF where they already announced (and sold out of) a second PB issue. That, or you can just wait for someone to import it from Japan
I was actually expecting an all-new mini-MG frame like in later RG's; but this is still proof that Bandai CAN actually make the pre-Unicorn RG's more stable. Why they haven't done so is beyond me......
Exactly. Hopefully we’ll get an updated RG Strike Freedom in the future because the HGCE is starting to show its age in many ways. Another thing to point out is that the HGCE Infinite Justice’s proportions seem to be designed with the RG Strike Freedom in mind instead of the HGCE
They haven't found a reason to do it I think. There's not much reason to redo an RG Justice Gundam or RG GP01. But I do hope they'd take the engineering of this kit and improve on the old ones should they decide one day to release them again
If Bandai could find a way to create new frames that can have the armor pieces from the original release attach to them then selling that frame separately would be the best solution. This way Bandai doesn't need to separately rerelease every color and/or parts variant with an updated frame. Just buy the original kit and the new frame. Either this is too difficult and why all of the frame wasn't redone in the GCP version or the frame by itself would cost to close to a complete kit.
I hope that bandai can gave as HGCE Freedom Gundam GCP ver in near future the Revive Freedom Gundam need more improvement on backpack wing unit 💫🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💫
The irony of the Freedom Gundam there in China still sends shivers. Many other gundams, like the Devil Gundam. The Providence. The Epyon. Or The Sazabi. The Zeong. Are more fitting. And cool I guess.

They do sell those on Shopee in Asia, I have seen parts for Rg Zeta and Rg Sinanju

The Sinanju just needs a complete overhaul, something like what they did with the GCP Freedom isn't enough to fix it

New frame construction for the shoulders, including the shoulder armor, so they are both very solid, even after a full review session

Okay, since this video is 2 years ago, i want to ask about one thing, since the hip have issue, how can we solve that problem or just leave it?
A layer of matte topcoat or superglue on the joints to thicken up.
Despite the updates still prefer the HG but the updated parts on this makes me wonder if they can update older rg kits like the sinanju or the zaku
