    I like this simple setup! Very helpful information. I like how the bags have contrasting colors inside the bags...I imagine that makes it easy to find stuff inside. Thanks for sharing this! 👍

      Yes, it is much easier. Though I usually put everything in waterproof bags and pull it all out in one lump anyway 👍

    Thanks for the vid! I’ve been doing the adventure riding thing for a long time. I have a BMW 1200GS and a Husqvarna 701. Problem is I’ve become older, I’m 74 now. I want to continue riding so I’m considering the KTM 390 Adventure. I already have the Endurostan tank bag and Kriega bags so I could swap them over. Keep doing the 390 videos.

      Thanks Blackdog. I totally recommend the move to a lighter bike. I’ve dropped mine several times and have no issues picking it up.

    Wow this is the first time I heard such an authentic American English pronunciation from Japanese uploaders. Well done.

      I’m actually an expat living in Japan . Sorry, my vocabulary is all jacked up from being here so long I probably sound like a Japanese who can speak (mostly) natural English 🤣😂.

    Great video and tips on these bags. Never heard of them before but after this, they jumped on top of my list.
    In a month, I’m picking up my own 2023 390 Adventure SW so im gathering ideas all over, and you set-up looks great!
    Maybe I’ve missed it, but would you consider to make a video with all your modifications since you got the bike? I see some cool things like the windshield and kickstand. Or do you have all conversions and brands listed somewhere?

    Cool setup. I have a similar setup on my old VStrom, which is my ONLY transport and I live out in the bush, Australia. Tankbag with a small backpack inside it so that I can leave the bag on the bike and take the backpack with me. Givi topbox is always on the bike unless I go on an off-road ride, as I did yesterday. Under the seat I have squirreled away spare clothes in case I get wet, or just need something. Friday for example I was filthy from work so pulled out a clean T-shirt. The topbox has a few random bits and pieces, this changes depending on my needs. On the handlebars I have a running 🏃‍♂️ water hydration belt with an additional bottle affixed, about 800ml in total. What I dearly wish is that another manufacturer or two would make a Honda nc 750 with the tank space available for luggage. Unfortunately the nc is no longer sold in Australia. I am leaning towards the 390 adventure as my next bike, which is how I stumbled upon your channel. Good review. 👍

      Thanks a lot for your thoughtful response. And great idea with the pack in the tank bag, I might do that too as I have a small 20l crush pack that should fit. 🙏

    Nice setup, I run the Mosko Moto Rackless 40 system with a Nomax tank bag and their D 30 litre Duffel bag. Definitely agree with not having a pannier system on KTM 390 Adventure, seems a bit much.

    The only thing i don t like is i think the right bag is too close to the exhaust. Have you noticed any overheating in the bag?

    • @advinjapan
      @advinjapan  Год назад

      Thanks for dropping by. Just one small burn mark, but I’ve since fixed that by pulling the bags up and away from the wheel and exhaust with a very strong rok strap. I’ve also seen people mount these backwards, works as well.
