This Park sign describes "the Snake"
"You are standing at the top of curves that road enthusiasts affectionately call "The Snake". Over the years Mulholland Highway has tested the merits of cars from Duesenbergs to Teslas. This particular stretch of road is a mecca for motorcyclists. It's sharp turns offer an adrenaline rush and a chance for fun, fame and often folly.
To your left is "Edwards Corner". It was named after the late Ed Savko, long-time owner of the Rock Store., a popular road house just down the hill. Hundreds of riders have (----) on this challenging 180- degree curve, perhaps showing off for spectators, who often gather here. Other succumb safely to the charm of "The Snake." "

how did you loose the arm buddy and your bike got a steering damper?
he wrecked doing a wheelie @ 80 mph. His story was on Reddit.
R.I.P ryan
Rest In Peace Brother !
You're a legendary Rider !!!
he died?
@@omegared8663 stupid post. You’re a bozo.
He's a better than I could ever be
He dah bess aint he hommy?
Is he better than you? Yes.
Is he better than you could ever be? No. You just got to put the time and dedication into it, and you can be whatever you want man.
It's just a matter of practice. Follow me on IG, and I'll share some riding tips. ryan_moto_life
You'll just have to keep practicing and learning like I do. Surround yourself with people that are good already, that are willing to share their knowledge with you. This way you'll learn. Keep riding on the canyon.. if you have budget, the circuit is much better in honing that skills.
+Ryan Szielenski
It's pretty inspirational watching this, dude. Made me happy to see that your accident didn't keep you from doing what you want to do.
The power of the human spirit at work right there!! Much respect and proud to call you a fellow biker!!
Better then 90% of the riders and car drivers out there ha.
you're right. better than 89.999999999%
+xRuxxyFX No exaggeration. Pull 100 random ass riders off the street and see how many can rip twistys like this guy. You'll get 1 or 2 tops, amids a sea of Harleys and squids.
than*
notafanboy *grammar Nazi. You are.
GO RYAN!!!! Years ago I was up at Newcomb's Ranch when a guy that was sitting in a wheelchair in the back of a van was lifted out and set on a parked sport bike. I thought ... ok, photo op.. but then came the jacket, gloves and helmet....the bike was started and I'm still thinking photo op. I was SHOCKED when the paraplegic/rider put the bike in gear and rode off down the mountain as I watched the obviously custom center stand automatically fold back out of the way. I remember thinking.. OK... BALLS of STEEL to do that and wondered how the hell he could stop and deploy a stand at the same time once he got to the bottom? Does anyone know that guy or of him? Anyway, He and Ryan Szielenski are NO DOUBT inspirations to those of us that can not think of LIFE WITHOUT our beloved motorcycling!!!
Go Ryan!!!
There was a guy called Serp (don't know his real name) that I rode with a couple of times back home in FL that walked with two canes because of a spinal injury. That guy could out ride everyone in our group.
Ripping it up on an old SV1000. Much respect for that level of skill and dedication.
A real man with real passion, you can see how much he loves what he does and how he makes it fun, full of admiration and great respect people like that ...
This is just awesome. He is the best example that an injury like this isn´t a reason to stop riding. I´m really impressed by his skills, even his wheelies look so easy!
wow, he did a wheelie with one hand... I can't do a wheelie with both of my hand
this dude is a real rider :)
And thats why you got 2 hands (most probably) and he's got only 1...
I'm jealous of how well he must be able to see out of that left mirror.
Bro you're funny as hell 😂
I don't really get to watch your stuff anymore because youtube always starts sending me motorcycle crash compilations after but
Stuff like this?
This is why I used to watch your stuff.
This is so good.
Awesome ! Never lose hope or get discouraged.
Hit me right in the feels. Respect to Ryan! Ride on brother!
Never give up on your dreams, no matter what. Truly an Inspiration to all.
What a champion, well done brother.
I shudder chest to see the willpower and determination of this true biker. Respect from Spain
I'm speechless...Wow :o May God bless that man
There was a guy in my hometown of Louisville Ky, a street racer who lost his arm. I saw him years ago. He rode 70's/80's era GS or KZ type bikes. He rode with the ease and grace of anyone with two arms.
* gets fined for not keeping both hands on the handlebars *
Seriously an inspiration to see him still riding. Motorcycles are in his blood and he didn't let his tragedy hold him down.
Just asking my self how can someone dislike something like this.Big respect for this guy,and great ride.Greetings from long away Serbia
Guy went by me a year or so ago...missing his left arm. Big WTF moment for me. Figured the bike was modified but still give props for the dedication and skill.
Ryan needs a RUclips channel, bad. This is truly inspirational
He's got 2 levers on the right side. If you
look at 1:17
Good catch. I was thinking he was using a quick shifter.
I think he only uses the clutch to get the bike rolling in first gear, but he still manually does clutchless upshifts and downshifts. I'm really curious how he's operating the setup. This is awesome! Really inspiring.
Thats crazy.. How does he hang on the bike like that?? Go on your bike.. Take your left hand off the handlebar and blip the throttle.. Chucks ya nearly off!! Crazy
its like a stunt setup, except the hand brake is for the front and not the back.
Dazza skillz If i tried to do a wheelie (and i am quite capable of doing so) i would crash insistently if i tried with one hand. I am sure of it.
This guy rocks.
I have enjoyed viewing countless of your videos. Thanks for the edit! WOW!!! :)
@RNickeyMouse #ThankYou
Ryan Szielenski,dude..rip
The real rider.. No matter wht the shit happened.. He is still riding.. Respect.

That is genuinely one of the most amazing and coolest things I've ever seen !!!
tons of respect to this rider, overcoming huge obstacles and still going harder then most on his bike
Sometimes you just got to modify the world around you to get where you want. Very inspiring!!!
i am checking your channel every single day , waiting for a new video! here it is!
Nothing but respect !!!
One of my biggest fears is losing an arm or hand so I can't ride again. Well today I found out that anything is possible if you're willing to find the solution. Hats off
Great clutch control considering!
Dedication is what u call that never give up💯🙌 respect to this man 1000%
So much respect for you man, that's what being a riders means, the bike it's part of us, it's part of our body, and even if something goes wrong it can't stop your passion. While i was watching you riding your bike, i've seen a great rider, yes, but first i've seen your love for this sport, for this life, that's wonderful and you made me proud to be a raider! As we say in Italy "buona strada" and always full trhottle bro ;)
Starting off with an one handed wheelie. Incrediblle and an inspiration

what a BOSS! even on 1 wheel! truly inspirational
Nothing but respect for this guy...
This guy is an inspiration. Instead of letting life get him down he grabs it and rids it with grace. 👍🏻
That was amazing, and he does ride better than most people with 2 arms because of the amount of balance he has to correct would be massive. Huge props and nice skill.
not true. he died the same year in a bike accident. most people don't.
Wow, gotta give it to him, impressive!!RIP Ryan
I have to buy a hat so that i can take it off for this guy!
Half the amount of hands of normal riders, but over twice the talent. Amazing.

Totally awesome! Sharing this to FB and with all my motorcycle buddies!
That's so cool to see. Takes true skill to do that.
Wow, that is great. Awesome that you still ride man. I can relate, I have metal in my left leg from hip to ankle and a pelvic screw from a bike accident. But what's the point of getting fixed up if you don't do what you love, and I love to ride! Keep it up mate.
The man got skill.

Porra.. Estou emocionado aqui, isso que é superação. Isso que é gostar de moto, não é esses merdas que só anda quando está sol, quando não venta, quando isso e aquilo... Nem um braço impediu ele, e acredito que nada o impediria.. Meu eterno Respeito.
that sv1000s, what a great bike.
Incredible. He needs do much power to resist the brake forces. Chapeau
big respect for him.
incroyable, félicitation à lui, ça montre à quel point il est passionné.
