Man that Canon xf605 is a beast. Auto focus is spot-on and 4K is outstanding. How do you like filming fast action with it? Any issues or regrets with this camera? Were you shooting hand-held? Thank you for this!
Hey thanks for the comment. The 605 is my run and gun camera, with some practice I’m able to consistently capture action sports like this all day. No regrets, I will say tho…. I did purchase this camera thinking I would need a tripod, you don’t! Especially if what you’re recording is moving at high speeds. Good luck!
You can see that at the end of the turn, just before the tire slip, for some reason he is pushing on the handebars, increasing the bike lean angle instead of commiting fully to the turn. In my unprofessional opinion, the guy was going too fast for his skill, wanted to lean the bike in without leaning with his body.
A preliminary investigation report was submitted to the International Squid Association. Within 30 days, the head of the Association will report back to the authorities accident investigation department. The black box was found 2 meters and 5 degrees southeast from the crash site, 1.5 meters above the surface, according to ISA reporters. The announcement was made after six days of detailed searching around the crash site and checking of surveillance cameras, radars and other devices.

He was pushing it too far & riding like a moron. Considering he had little protective gear on, he was very lucky to walk away virtually unscathed.

Looks like he leaned in too much and his right peg snagged on the road surface, causing his rear tire to lift up. That’s what I think at least.
