I’ve been running Q4’s on track for the past year and they HOOK! Not the longest lasting tire out there but I’ve never felt them push out of lose grip. 1-2 laps to warm them up depending on temp and then send it. Ken Hill just did a test at my local track Jennings and tested the Q4 against slicks and they came out with impressive results! Awesome to see you shredding on a tire a lot of us street/track guys run
When I lived in California and rode GMR on the weekends I was the same way. Definitely preferred riding uphill in the canyons. You can stop much quicker and maneuver better going uphill as opposed to going downhill. In a canyon with a cliff on one side, momentum the bike carries is critical to how it feels and you carry more momentum going downhill which feels more sketchy. Just be careful! I got hit by a SUV at the bottom first turn at GMR, I was exiting and he was entering the canyon, and he crossed over the double yellow into my lane around that first blind turn and hit me head on. Broke my neck, nose, orbital, mandible, and arm in that one. I have a few old videos on "my channel" (only posted to show friends, I don't make vids) of me riding up there. Definitely miss riding there!
Wow, those drifts are sick! I really enjoy watching how you handle this Panigale v2. I fell in love with Panigale too and seeing how you use this motorcycle to it's full potential is just stunning. Another great video, keep up the amazing content Josh!
Always great content cool to see a pro racer just having fun on the street. I'll be at the Road America race in June. Definitely would be cool to ride with ya sometime
Your feel and touch for the balance point on a wheelie is fucking incredible! No matter what bike you're on🤔! BIG Josh Herrin fan, I live less than an hour from The Ridge, saw you sat & sun last year, won't miss it this year! So jacked you got a ride this year😃. Good luck Josh!
Thank you so much! One day I will figure out how to get it further back and use the rest break! I love faster wheelies though! Thank you so much for the support!
@@joshherrin That looks pretty far back to me and if you're that far back without even touching the rear break...impressive. Can't wait for the season!

Great video Josh. As an older guy and fan of yours for years, I am glad you are slowing down on the high speed wheelie’s in traffic. I enjoy your content as well as ripping up (to my ability) a canyon road. Excited to see what you have coming

Awesome video man. Its always nice to see when its actual pros doing these type of videos versus some of the other stuff out there. Good luck on this years Moto America season and I wish you the best. By any chance do you play Ride4?
Azusa looks fun! Would be great to see you shredding out on Palomar. It's where all the cool kids hang out. ;-) One suggestion or request really... I'd love a video of you running through the mountains where you talk about what you're doing. How you pick your lines. Your braking going in and throttle coming out. There's lots of videos teaching theory and other videos of guys riding fast, but not much with a pro rider like yourself breaking down what they do. Anyhow, liking the new channel. Hope to see you out on the road some day.
I have a feeling we are watching the MotoAmerica Supersport Champ for 2022. Glad to hear you talk about riding down hill, I don't like it and thought I must be the only one. haha Hit some West Virginia twisties, the state is loaded with them.
I am a great French fan! Love these vids with Nick! Canyon roads, big skids, wheelings, vlogging! Perfect for me! Only missing the departure from your house saying wife and kid:"I'll be right back!" 😂😂👍👍🔥🔥🔥

I love my Q4. Personal favorite for the street in NE is the Q3 and have converted plenty of friends 😤 coke to the kancamagus in New Hampshire! There’s a pre road that’s amazing and all the way up you got a couple miles of twisty love
Look up highway 58 just outside of Bakersfield, epic!! Just got repaved last year, like riding on Velcro. Also highway 36 just south of eureka, 140 miles of twists and turns!

Enjoyed it! We love it also on the street! It's what we do. Cheaha Mountain State Park in Alabama east of Birmingham. Highest point in state. Super fun!
Uphill mountain/canyon carving always feels more stable, planted and comfortable and I'd say overall better confidence.....downhill is more brakes and uphill is more throttle which is way more fun IMO.
Hello Josh my name is Tim soper. We have a small crew just outside Yosemite. We have a amazing road 14 miles and 159 turns. You definitely should come out and ride definitely worth your time
👍 if you get past this point 34.24743135357332, -117.86624228325348 there is almost no cars (maybe on every hour or two hours on weekdays) where you guys were there is the east fork bridge (don't turn there keep straight) there is a gun range up there so you get cars and patrol. Go farther up past those coordinates, there are nice straights long sweepers and goes in to tight twisties then loosens up again before the end. Most guys hang out at the "water tour"... weekdays are super quite, weekends AM quite then about 11:30 it pops off with lots of bikes.. The canyon road is good because it dead ends just past Crystal Lake (14 miles in) so no transit traffic making it a unique road. Heads up very little cell service so make sure to take your precautions.
