Though I have long accepted we will never get another Sisters album, it certainly feels the closest to being a possibility since Dylan joined. There are the new songs we know about here, plus another half a dozen not yet played live, all written by the current line-up. That's been a problem for a long while, that one or two new tunes would appear only for one of the writers to leave; in this instance, I can see the problems in terms of legalities and release. But this line-up has produced an album's-worth of new material already, and you would like to think that with some finessing, there could be 10 strong songs here by the time they can play live again.
According to a recent interview (September 2021), he still has zero intention to make a new album. I wish we could at least hear a professional recording of these live songs (many bands have proshot videos from festivals for TV). It's crazy that all we ever got is just shitty phone quality.
@@kittavares4334 Yes, that would be great! I think leaving the songs hanging in the live-only sphere does Dylan and Ben [especially, given his longevity] a massive disservice. It wouldn't take a huge amount of money or time to record them, given how tight they are already.
@@hamupinhere In fairness kickline is incomplete and was never played l;ive again after it was played in Antwerp during the free Near Meth Experience gig.
@@jasonegeland1446 Yes, Andrew Taylor has been variously known as 'Spiggy' (after his cat) 'Von' (not sure why. maybe his love of Berlin?) and more commonly by his stage name 'Eldritch' (meaning 'strange' or 'spooky') which is often abbreviated to 'Eldo' .. if you were a fan you might know these things.
Just find this. Glad SOM are still performing. He could put out another album easily without a record company involved. He could do the recording on even a MAC and sell it on band camp and the SOS website. Granted it’s not going to chart-but I didn’t think he cared about all that? Anyway he should do something just to get it down
A month later and the song has grown on me... I can imagine people hating the instrumentals, saying they aren't proper Sisters songs. Sure they are, listen to them.
Thank you for this! Will you please tell everyone at Heartland I’m tired of lurking. I missed re-weeding things 17 years ago! Will Quiffy please let me back on the site?
@ufotrees realisticly speaking there are no chances one does make a point by not releasing a single album during all these years but this is not the point most people want some great tracks in here regardless
Put a record out full of the excellent songs written over the last 20 years, while playing live isn't an option for the foreseeable future. Go figure....
they're sounding fantastic but i do think they need to get a bassist in once again cuz it helps fill some of the sound out but Eldritch is sounding great :D
Ouch. Had to check to be sure I didn't click on Pet Shop Boys videos. This is horrible. AE and a rotating cast of musicians is not aging well. The Mission has become more SOM than SOM.
I can only imagine his choice to not have a bass player is that it's harder to do the maths or maybe he likes the symmetrical stage? Too visually distracting? i have no idea.
Hussey golea a todos diosssss sin sudar y eldo no puede ......llegar al nivel d hussey desde mediados los noventa husseyyyyy golea a eldo claramente 😊💪😎💪😎💪
Yuk! Where is the bass, where is the guitar, where are the good creative songs??... this is just SOM mimicking themselves, re-heating the same old sound but the songs just aren't there... This is just touring to pay the rent...
Thanks for the compilation... unfortunately, everything but I Was Wrong is dull and meaningless. Eldritch used to have standards and now it's anything goes.. he should write the music himself and be as demanding as he was in the 90s. Also lyrics seem to be going downhill.... maybe, just maybe.. he doesn't care?
Happy they are still around. Don't like their cliched guitar oriented sound. Too plastic, too thin. They've exchanged layers of sound and colouful music scenes for basic barre chorded guitar riffs. AE sounds decent. Cheers for sharing
His voice is still weak and the new songs, all mostly written by Mr. Smith, are lower mediocrity. The live appearances are just the statutory pension insurance of Mr.Eldritch. No love, no soul, no feelings. Hopefully he will go soon into retirement. All that is so lame and poor compared to the early nineties, not to speak of the glorious first years in the eighties.

Yabba Dabba Doo.
Only decent song they've written since 1993 is We are the same Suzanne.
@@robertmead6606 Absolutely!
Particularly like 'Kickline' and the fact that Eldo has his voice back. Cheers.
'Kickline' was better than I expected it to be, considering the song title itself is pretty goofy. It might be the standout of the lot.

Eldo? You mean Eldritch.

"Centipede I think you love me, I make you cry I make you cry, Centipede I think you love me, watching your feet inside..."
His voice is backing. Cool.
about time they went into the studio, they have some great new songs now
I'm so acclimated to 15+ years of jam bands i can't even fathom how the band just play the song properly to a drum machine.
I Was Wrong has always been one of my favs!!
Well, I'll certainly say that their (his) sound remains in-tact.
Nice to hear another love song💀

far better than Phantom.
Just saw them. Had a blast.

Black Sail, Better Reptile and But Genevieve are stellar, but On The Beach is the best of the new batch. We really need good recording of that one.
New album just in the time of need=apocalypse?

Send to all Sisters and Brothers in this N W O don't worry help is on the way 😎😊🙄😎😎
I was wrong is a vision thing track
Are u ok Andrew?
Personally I think the two male model guitarists need to dump this singer and give Wayne Hussey a call- they would be fire.
Hussey golea a todos diosssss sin sudar y eldo no puede ......llegar al nivel d hussey desde mediados los noventa husseyyyyy golea a eldo claramente 😊💪😎💪😎💪
what happened to Andrews voice?
Not crazy about the male backing vocals over Andrew's. Kind of kills it for me.
nice little comp pascal but why include i was wrong? not criticising bro, just curious.
👍! Thx
Where is the bass player???
Yeah, I miss that prominent bass sound...
He realised his Milkman round paid more....
They've not a had a bass player for nearly 30 years.
I'm sure they had one last time they played in Melbourne in about 2011
Pascal my Friend 😎peace Bro 😎 "☘" 😎great Archive New since 1987 the N W O was on this is NOW 😎 BAM BAM WAKE UP 😎
👏👏👏💓💓💓
The guitarists look to be miming to backing tracks 100 percent
Hey are these 'new' tracks ..and can we find them somewhere else as a full studio recordeing.
Only live. That's how he wants things to be, there's no new album
Where is the ghoulish baritone I looooved on This Corrosion, Temple of Love, Lucretia....?
"...show me on the dole..."
playing only the guitars is a great concert ...
Yuk! Where is the bass, where is the guitar, where are the good creative songs??... this is just SOM mimicking themselves, re-heating the same old sound but the songs just aren't there... This is just touring to pay the rent...
Maybe they would be if Eldritch composed actual music again rather than just add lyrics to whatever the other two guys compose .

Wow did not know James Carville does karaoke. If Trump wins again he should just retire. Sad!
Nah, but thanks
He has NO voice:-(

Eldridge has become a shadow of the legend that he once was.
But after 40 years..who isn't? ? At least he still tries and reminds us of the original..and our own selves 4 decades ago.
where is the drummer and bassist....??jajajajaja!!! :)
Where’s the drummer?😂🤷🏻♂️🤦♂️
They started knocking out records in 1980 and have never used a drummer mate. Doktor Avalanche is the drum machine they've always used

My sentiments entirely. Such a degeneration from the early days. Did he even write these insipid lyrics?. The poetry is long gone.
Cristalinoooooooooooo jubilación yaaaaa
Why is their guitar sound so pathetic, flat and dull?
Only Better Reptile is a poor song
Yeah, definitely the weakest one.
That's the best one.
It is the most ropey of all them i do like the new tunes the only fuckin 😎 good thing about 2020 😎
