I bought several bags this past year. Decent, reasonably priced and was fine for my needs. The most serious problem was the bags are full of fungus gnats. It took me a month to get rid of them using yellow sticky cards and mosquito dunks. Sorry, I'm going back to pro mix hp and will amend accordingly.
Great content like always, didn’t know the HF that that low in PH. What I would like to see is what’s the NPK ratios available after a grow without adding anything during the grow.
That stuff contains about a months worth of food for a mature plant. After a grow it should be spent. Amend again and it's reusable. I start fertilizing about 3 to 4 weeks in and repeat every 3 wks. I also amend the soil before each grow and topdress throughout as needed. Teas or extracts will help as supplements. Then let it run on empty for the final week or two just using water or water with molasses.

I have my first grow growing theyre actually autos. I used a mix of FF Happy Frog & Ocean Forest. I noticed burnt tips early on with eventual clawing going on. I also had a cal mag deficiency, but I thought my water was harder than it is. Long story short I waited to feed until about 3 weeks and plants got deficiencies with some type of Nitrogen tox. I feel like these soils have a ton of Nitroge. I used a half ass 3 to 1 mix HF to OF.
Just eliminate the OF. happy frog will do well with simple amendments like Gaia green, RAW, Dr earth, or even one of the many happy frog granulars. OF is super hot with nitrogen notoriously and known to often burn younger plants. I only use it in large batches of soil mix where a bag will only be an 1/8 to 1/16 of the mix. I've found it does well with raw uncharged biochar though for females getting potted up before flower. At least I had luck with it once lol

I _think_ my Happy Frog came with mites, which I freaked out over of course. They ended up being good guys, but I still spent a week stressing over my plants. @chrisseger2346 maybe run a few in Fox farm again and run a few in something different and watch the difference. Maybe you'll end up sticking with Fox or maybe youll make a switch. Trial and error
