I imagine as they get more popular the pricing will come down.
My least favorite part of lake powell is digging holes for the anchors. This service is great! Hopefully they can get the price down. I know house boat rentals will anchor you for only $900. Love the idea of this though because you can come and go so much easier if youd like. Plus the scouting is awesome. Hope to see this company grow so eventually the price comes down. Nice work Thor!
I agree. The bag anchors themselves can be deployed on rocks. Traditional anchors can not.

Side note. You can't get a cart ride down to the Antelope point marina via the regular cart path? You have to ferry over from the valet ramp to access the store, restaurant, rental dock, etc?

When I beach my 25' pontoon boat I've always driven 3' stakes into the beach then tie the aft corners to the stakes at about 45 degrees out from centerline. Did you imply that the anchorage method is no longer legal at Lake Powel?
Anchor spikes are still legal in sand. It's practically identical to how I anchor. Pin anchoring is different tho. In order to pin anchor you have to drill holes into the rocks & then insert a pin. That method has been illegal for a long time.
those things are ugly against the landscape!
