Void Lords aren't inherently corruptive, the tools they create through old gods and lesser entities ARE-- for the purpose of creating a place/situation that can allow for a void lord to manifest, and then literally feast on the fabric of reality-- they don't corrupt, they literally DELETE EXISTENCE outside of their own plane of the void.

Can we talk about how stupid sargeras plan really was? He destroys all life in the universe in an attempt to stop the void lord and start the universe anew.. what's to stop the void lords just doing the same thing over and over again?
I am more powerful, than a void lord, ... ... because I have the void-lord-glyph on my warlock. And thus I can command one of those totally overpowered entities with ease. I don't know, what the problem is.
I don't understand. You say they are not individual entities outside the universe and yet you keep referring as "them". How did Sargeras find them? Did he just find darkness in space and assume it's evil and had a conscience? How can the void lords be "they" if they have trouble taking shape? What form did they exist in? I'm confused.
That is a bad idea. Storytelling in a fantasy setting does not work this way! Oh yes you can have a super powered overlord like Sauron, but you have angels on your side, even if they are strange ones like Gandalf and Radagast. I like the idea of an angel with a spliff in his nose! Anyway, cosmic horror is a trope for cosmic horror games like dark souls or somelike. You need to break down your evil to some extent to make it manageable for players, even as ridiculously powerful as endgame wowsers! The voidlords are adversaries for Titans and the likes of Sargeras. Not players! This avenue of thought is a cul de sac, which leads to madness and despair. Dont go there!
Pretty cool concept then if there’s void lords and light lords but they can corrupt other beings just in their own unique ways and philosophy’s but ultimately they are both different kinds of evil.
On the one hand, I love Lovecraftian fiction. On the other hand, it’s really convenient having a cosmic level creature that cannot be comprehended by mortals as the main antagonist for a game that’s been having trouble developing solid lore.
Blizzard turning old gods into little bitches and making void lords as powerful as the old gods used to be said to be was their way of retconning the players into being able to kill the old gods. All that being said, when Ian took the story over from Metzen, the whole thing went to hell.
You think there are planets with no titan inside that just has old gods chilling on it? Or even on like Draenor there is mention of Anzu communing with dark forces beneath the ground etc
Meme supreme uh yeah because the void lords supposedly conjured up old gods and threw them randomly into the great dark beyond. It’s only by chance they hit a planet that contains a sleeping Titan. But I don’t even think the void lords exists because the entire premise of their being doesn’t make sense and there’s no actual evidence they exist, only in story’s.
If you watch this realise the void Lords are the cause of all the enemies we have to fight as they are the reason for the creation of the burning legion, so no orcs on azeroth But also no dwarves humans vrykuls because they are Titans construct made to fight the old gods
5:34 So i remember reading in chronicle that when Sargeras killed the pantheon Norgannon protected their spirits with a spell and sent them to Azeroth to merge with the keepers. Did they ever explain in Legion how Sargeras managed to lock them up on Argus?
they did more or less this blizzcon: the chronicles are books and tales from the perspective of the titans themselves... it's THEIR story, told by THEM, it's hiding the complete truth and twists the events so that they always look like the good guys - so I guess, that the Titans wrote the story this way, so that the mortals who believed in them as that they are all mighty gods (and not defeatable by mortals), unkillable souls, "even their strongest enemy couldn't completely destroy their all powerful will" or something like that with the real events, in where they were imprisoned and corrupted by sargeras, it shows that they are way weaker than they portrayed themselves

Hiru the villains corner is your most viewed play list as of now
Void Lords aren't inherently corruptive, the tools they create through old gods and lesser entities ARE-- for the purpose of creating a place/situation that can allow for a void lord to manifest, and then literally feast on the fabric of reality-- they don't corrupt, they literally DELETE EXISTENCE outside of their own plane of the void.
Rewatching all of these videos, now that I am actually playing this game!
You are a new player ? Cool !
How much time you playing already?
Fun fact: The Villains Corner playlist is the most watched playlist on the channel now.
@@Nick-di9dv I have about 2 days/played with minimal afk time!
@@hirumaredx I'm not at all surprised with a voice like butter and great illustrations they are great for people new to warcraft lore and work as a refresher to those already acquainted to it
@@angrythomas6954 , wow cool. I hope you having fun. Good luck
From what i always understood void lords are basically bigger old gods
Gul’dan next.
How about a villain’s corner on Sylvanas, she has done quite a few bad things to count as a villain
Can we talk about how stupid sargeras plan really was? He destroys all life in the universe in an attempt to stop the void lord and start the universe anew.. what's to stop the void lords just doing the same thing over and over again?
Can't wait to 1 shot the void lord in some future expansion.
If Elune is one thing, it is useless. Anyone who saw Tyrande's quest knows what I mean...
CHO'GALL think bout it!
Rachel's humor in the art is fantastic! Lmao.
I am more powerful, than a void lord, ...
... because I have the void-lord-glyph on my warlock. And thus I can command one of those totally overpowered entities with ease. I don't know, what the problem is.
Wow, this really put Sargeras' final desperate blow to Azeroth into perspective. He was like "Noooo I won't let them corrupt you"
*stabs*
Sounds allot like chaos gods from warhammer 40K... Not the first time that blizzard copied something from that universe.
Great video, I've always been fascinated by the void lords but there's little information online, this video is very interesting and entertaining
Watchers in League of Legends might have been inspired by the void lords.
You are an excellent narrator sir. Very well spoken and easy enough for a peasant like me to understand. Great videos.
Love it
Warcraft has a weird fixiation with characters with a lot of X's and H's on their names, hence they must be getting ideas from Lovecraft, absolutely.
But, what if everything was under void, what would happen. Void Lords would become so lonely.
Pretty cool concept then if there’s void lords and light lords but they can corrupt other beings just in their own unique ways and philosophy’s but ultimately they are both different kinds of evil.
Void lords... how to defeat them? Simple.
Dormammu, I've come to bargain!
It's like everyone's a bad guy that corrupts everyone else. Is warcraft becoming warhammer?

The light lords are the players defending the World of Warcraft from the evil corruption of Activision.
Damn, they can create Universe why not start over again. Its better then lossing everything, Titans are so dumb and illogical.
bet you that Shadowlands is the expansion where we start facing Void Lords - since we killed everyone else.
as a newer player who joined during shadowlands i never saw that cut scene with illidan and i fucked up by not being a demon hunter if its that SICK
Yaay love this series
Void lords are the good guys, the light only brings darkness, the darkness brings the light ....
All hail our tentacly overlords!
*Horny Anime Girls want to know your location*
In this episode of bullshit Blizzard pulled out of nowhere because their writing is awful
So in other words, Chaos Gods.
Warhammer, Warcraft and World Of Warcraft have some similarities.
I AM MY SCARS. That cinematic got me thru a lot of rough times
If you watch this realise the void Lords are the cause of all the enemies we have to fight as they are the reason for the creation of the burning legion, so no orcs on azeroth
But also no dwarves humans vrykuls because they are Titans construct made to fight the old gods
It's OK guys Sylvanas is going to beat the Void Lords!
I wonder if they drop a mount ...
Also I might try too when I would be able to solo.
Nick 12 if the mount isn’t a void version of Goku’s flying nimbus, I will be greatly disappointed
5:34 So i remember reading in chronicle that when Sargeras killed the pantheon Norgannon protected their spirits with a spell and sent them to Azeroth to merge with the keepers. Did they ever explain in Legion how Sargeras managed to lock them up on Argus?
they did more or less this blizzcon:
the chronicles are books and tales from the perspective of the titans themselves...
it's THEIR story, told by THEM, it's hiding the complete truth and twists the events so that they always look like the good guys - so I guess, that the Titans wrote the story this way, so that the mortals who believed in them as that they are all mighty gods (and not defeatable by mortals), unkillable souls, "even their strongest enemy couldn't completely destroy their all powerful will" or something like that
with the real events, in where they were imprisoned and corrupted by sargeras, it shows that they are way weaker than they portrayed themselves
It never gets old seeing ol' Illidan blasting that sanctimonious asshole, Xe'ra, the pieces.
2:10
captions be like:
"and discovered the void Lords exist and also discover that they were intelligent to beans"
Thanks a lot for this! I love this series and this was a very much needed subject to be talked about.
It said they were so powerful and volatile they couldn't take form in the universe so they lie in another dimension
Everytime i see these videoes i click on them as fast as i can, great job bro❤️❤️
They went so hard on that rejection animation and dialog like unholy hell that scene gives me the chills!!!
Weren't Old Gods supposed to be Lovecraftian at first?
Can you please stop saying "TIE-TENS"? No one says that.
These are always amazing.
