    Switched to Axiom. On course performance has been crazy good. Longer carry and tighter. Approach SG has improved since in play.

    Thanks for the video Sir - I'm thinking about replacing the shaft in my Callaway Rogue ST MAX Hybrid. This is the first replacement i'll be doing (using the advice from your amazing videos) but I am unsure on one thing. The current shaft has a .335 diameter tip - Must I replace that shaft with the same sized tip or can I use a .370?
    Thanks so much for any advice you can offer.

    So, I'm always looking for value, and at over $100, I just could not justify spending that much unless the technology really warranted it. I've got a couple of different Recoil shafts in a Hogan Icon/PTX Pro Combo set set and a Maltby TE iron set. I just would have trouble imagining anything significantly better. Cost was $25-$35. Considering I came from Apollo Steel shafts @ $5-$7, even that is a tough pill to swallow. Admittedly, since my SS is slowing down a bit and vibration concerns steel shafts tend to give you, I embraced the switch to graphite. Is there really a whole lot to these Axioms that I can't get from the UST Recoil line?

      Sound won't change much from shaft to shaft in graphite. The amount of vibration transmitted will vary so it depends on what you are looking for.

    Would you recomend the 105x if i have a slighty faster swing then yours and play 1" long? Or does the stiff hold its own pretty good

    • @EFGMC
      @EFGMC  2 месяца назад

      The stiff holds up well into the low 90s for speed. Over 92-93 I'd probably lean towards X unless you fight a fade.

    • @kylehoog4621
      @kylehoog4621 2 месяца назад

      I do fight a fade but I think that's because I'm gaming $ taper 130x and it's just to much unless I swing outta my shoes I'll get it straight then. Not sure what iron you refer to for that speed you mentioned. My driver is 110 to 112 My 3 hybrid speed is 100-102 For refrence speeds. Usually hit my 7 iron 175-180. Getting fit doesn't work when your a lefty 6'5" with +1 playing jumbomax grips. No one anywhere has anything close to what I need to be accurately fit.
