The tin puzzle (Imagine Your Photos) is great for gifting but is absolutely horrible as a puzzle. The Cellophane and white box puzzle (District Photo) is a fantastic puzzle but is horrible for gifting. The tin puzzle is printed in vivid color, nice glossy pieces, and really shows the design well. However, the pieces are thin (like half the thickness of a standard puzzle piece) which makes it a challenge to put together. There’s also a small number of unique puzzle shapes which also adds to the challenge. My wife gave up on this puzzle as it was too frustrating and after a customer complaint, I’ve removed them from my shop. The white boxed puzzle offers puzzle pieces in standard thickness, vivid color, and plenty of unique puzzle shapes. The cost of this item is lower so I can sell them for less. However, the container they ship in is kind of bland where the top side flips open. Not nearly as great looking of a gift as the tin puzzle as far as presentation but as a puzzle, it’s fantastic. I’m still struggling to find a decent puzzle for my shop that’s reasonably priced, makes a great gift, offers 1,000 pieces, and is fun to put together. So for now, I'm running with the District Photo puzzle.
Hi, thank you for sharing your experience. How long have you been selling puzzles? Has it been successful? I'm considering opening a Shopify store selling puzzles too.
You just gave a review I was after. Can't compare price and packaging without mentioning the quality of the puzzle pieces which is the #1 criteria for a good puzzle. I have been researching for 48 hours and came across a couple of print providers who may offer better quality. One I sent a live chat and have had no response in 8 hours but their puzzles look great. It's called Interest Print and they do have a print shop in Queens USA. The rest is shipped from China.
I appreciate your videos as always very useful info…I like the tin one best however cost wise I’m choosing the cheaper one. It has better mockups in my opinion and it is way cheaper than $16 without printify premium. That’s almost double of the cheaper one! Besides I don’t think your customers would have a problem with the cheaper one anyway…especially if they didn’t know the tin one even exists!!
I was thinking the same thing - as soon as it was mentioned, in my head I'm hearing complaints: "The product listing is very misleading - very disappointed!" lol~
From a customer stand point, I would be so disappointed if I paid for a jigsaw puzzle and it arrived in a plastic bag. Just screams low quality to me. As a seller I definitely wouldn't offer that one. Too bad the printer doesn't offer it in a cardboard box like most puzzles come in.

What about quality for each? How does the print look? Are the pieces sturdy or flimsy? Do the pieces for together properly?
Guess I should of showed that, they just feel like standard puzzle pieces to me with no issues so I didn’t think to do so

Your videos are extremely helpful and well put together. I really appreciate you sharing and helping others!
Thank you!
Watching in June. Never too soon to think about Christmas!
Cool find Joe, particularly combined with the personalization ideas - great video, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Definitely create your own creative container to photograph it with, but be sure to state it doesn't come with the box, tin, bag, etc.

That's cool. You can do puzzles for holidays in addition to a niche.
Yep!
I’ve wondered about the quality of the puzzles from there suppliers! Puzzles are so so so popular. :)
Awesome content and ideas, thanks for your devotion to helping beginners!
Hey thanks for watching!
I have to ask is joining Facebook the only way to get your personalized (buying the tickets promo) training/help?
Thank you.

Hi great Video! Who do you like to use for Personalization?
Personalization is done manually, you don’t “use someone” if that makes sense
You can create and personalize puzzles on Zazzle.
January 2024 - Thanks for the video. The quality of the puzzle would have been good to include.
I guess you weren’t paying attention if you thought I didn’t mention the quality or even show close ups of it 🤷♂️
@@RealJoeRobert will watch again watching and reading subtitles can be tricky on a small laptop .
Good video. How to drive traffic to the store? It's so hard.
