2:15:00 American here, and I totally agree with you about music at airshows. Dump it, and let the thunderous roar of the jet engines provide the soundtrack. We don't have to Hollywood-ify everything! The full-throated scream of fury as an F-15 soars overhead is all the accompaniment a show like that needs!

my autoplay always lands me on one of these videos. this time I woke up at 3 AM to the glorious sound of an f15 taking off. may as well subscribe! great videos.
I saw a U 2 on base & we used to watch B 52s take off from base. Loud & proud. Massive wing flex 17 feet, 8 engines what power.noise too. Some F15 also. After burners are lit like rocket taking off. Amazing. You can feel the rumble in your feet and chest on the ground. Vibration.
Aligning a KC 135 fueler and a F 15 jet boom receptor is poetry in the air. Very difficult syncrony like lining up a plane landing on a carrier. The coordination is phenomenal. Acrobatics .indeed.
I've had the priviledge of climbing into the cockpit of F15 in aircraft mechanic school and the engine intake for cleaning. Later crawled into T tail of C141 for motor change.and wing on belly to change wing bolts. Some guys were clostraphobic and would not go in.
Sad I missed the military show! 2 High level fast jets just passed overhead Lincolnshire going SSE with 'one' leaving a good vapour trail from its left side but passed into cloud before identifying anything more 10.30
This came on while I was sleeping and I was too tired to turn it off so every now and then I got woken up by a jet passing by because my speaker was turned up a lot since I was watching a quiet video and I have bad hearing
There is quite a big difference between F-15C & F-15E aircraft. The pro's know. The USAF have partnered with the UK for staging bases, as well with many other nations. The pro's know why. Understandably, the audio is muted watching BIG JET TV. Incredibly difficult to follow the logic of the presenters opinion.
Quiet motion over residents. They complain about the noise. I loved even sonic booms years ago. Now after 10PM some neighborhoods demand No planes until morning. Germany did it.
Can't you use audio filters to block out certain formants of sounds? The young generation likes the music. They don't appreciate the engine sounds like we older folks do. They do not recognize the pertinence of the engine noise.

Bingo…..(not in terms of fuel, but as to your point made.) 😁

Never gets boring seeing a f15 with after burners
Leslie, I can remember F-100s at Lakenheath, later F-5s 😊
This came on while I was sleeping and I was too tired to turn it off so every now and then I got woken up by a jet passing by because my speaker was turned up a lot since I was watching a quiet video and I have bad hearing
Hi I can remember when Lakenheath had F 111
Hey Jerry, maybe forklift driver backed into something, so he has to drive backwards around the base.
Built an avionics building there many years ago
Does this place kind of look like an airshow?
Welcome back
Yay , super dooper , the military industrial complex , limbering up for WW3 with China... heart warmer stuff . Great footage of the planes though.
Drop tank for extra fuel on extended trip. Fighters consume alot of fuel and get refueled in the air by KC 135 or c76.
The rabbit was trying to heat them up and take off but he was missing his wings man
C130 Hercules is usually Air National Guard. In USA.
F-4s ... ooops finger trouble 😅
I can’t believe we saw an F 35 lightning in at 15 eagle
The rabbit was racing the planes.
the question the largest raf air station is brize norton then waddington
It is brst to drive. Forklifts backwards for visabiity
HARRY THE HARE
Just supervising Take-off...

It looks like many F-15 turn off AB just after take off, and after 5-10 seconds they turn it on again. What's the purpose of that action?
Conserve fuel & noise reduction.
