they're actually about as loud as any other jet engine plane, the stealth is really in the shape which is meant to trick radar. They aren't that worried about bad guys hearing planes coming anymore.
Happened to be at Oshkosh 2003 signing my life away for my Velocity XL-5 RG kit. An unassuming shadow crossed the flight line at mid day. Nobody looked up as a B-1 stealthily descended over the field at flight idle from 10,000 feet. At about 750 feet the pilot then pointed the tail at the audience and lit up the afterburners on those four F16 engines. Food was dropped, drinks were spit out and car alarms went off. The B1-B is the most beautiful sleek aircraft I have ever seen fly in person. The A-10 was the most relentless. The SR 71 was like à vintage muscle car in primer. You could only imagine how fast it really was.
When I was stationed in England. The bird watchers loved our planes and the air shows we put on for the. I was coming back from a cross country flying an XR-71. Saw the bird watchers lined up along the primiter fence. I called ATC for clearance Lowe level mach fly by, got cleared went full after burner altitude 300ft and punched mach one right over their heads. I was told they loved it and so did I. Broke the rules a little, but you know you just got to do a thing.
How wasn't I subscribed already? I've watched many of your videos before, my apologies! Keep them coming! Guy Martin did a tremendous doc on the Vulcan Bomber and the Spitfire if you haven't seen them.

I live by Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. A daily basis, we get to see B1B, lancer bombers, C-130, Hercules, and other assorted aircraft. Now that the B 21 raider is coming, we should be the first to get the video.
Great variety of footage. Great show. Thank you for bringing it to all of us. Amazing how quiet the B2 is...like you vere going to get sucked up into it.
I love it all and thank you for the videos we haven’t had and airshow in my state since 2017 and it sucks. I started going to airshows in my mom’s belly and never missed and airshow. Started a family tradition that carried on with my kids until this state stopped the air shows.

B2 Spirits are always my favorite, got out of my car in Griffin Ga. to go into a bank & for some reason I looked up into the sky on a clear day and one of them was banking and the full outline was visable LOL, if I hadn't of known what it was I would of been freaking scared to death, even though I knew what it was it still looked frightening LOL
@@bobsurgranny That morning I wasn't aware there was a airshow in a town west of us so it must of been turning to fly into there, and guessing it was maybe 5 miles east of my location and I didn't hear a thing LOL
Mmmm could agree with that. You can always FEEL the power of the F16 throughout the display. And yes the louder the better 😁 Glad you enjoyed watching my airshow memories
After being very close to one starting up and taxiing a number of years ago, I’ve always thought it didn’t need bombs. Just the sound of it flying overhead would scare the shit out of anybody. It’s the loudest thing I have ever heard.
I know right? 30000lb of thrust on each engine on reheat. You can literally feel the ground shake. I remember watching it barrel roll in burn with the variable geometry wing fully retracted at a show years ago. Incredible machine.
I never had the chance to see a B1 take off, but I did get to watch the last take off of the last Air Force SR-71. Just after sunset, lit the burners and climbed faster than anything I have ever seen. The sight and sounds were unforgettable.

The B1-B is the most beautiful sleek aircraft I have ever seen fly in person. The A-10 was the most relentless. The SR 71 was like à vintage muscle car in primer. You could only imagine how fast it really was.
Great video! Those Vulcan bombers have a presence unlike any other aircraft. I have not seen one here in the US, and I wish it was possible.
They sure do
Pleased you enjoyed my airshow memories
i always had a love for the lancaster since childhood but the vulcan is so graceful i might play up
When I was stationed in England.
It amazes me that there are only two Avro Lancaster's left that are airworthy. Beautiful aircraft
Soon to be 3 with Just Jane!
Great video. Some of the planes are really moving fast across the sky!
Thanks, they sure were!
Pleased you enjoyed watching my airshow memories
My new addiction.
Pleased you enjoyed the sights and sounds of my fav moments I've managed to capture over the years. Plenty more to come!
How wasn't I subscribed already? I've watched many of your videos before, my apologies! Keep them coming! Guy Martin did a tremendous doc on the Vulcan Bomber and the Spitfire if you haven't seen them.
Pleased you enjoy them. Guy Martin is lucky what he gets to do, but I don't mind him humble guy and very talented
That first ones formation was awsome!
Great seeing the Reds and T-birds flying together
Thanks for the incredible video! Sound of the video is phenomenal.
The Vulcan and its howl is my favorite by far.
Can't beat a Vulcan howl 😉
Pleased you enjoyed watching my airshow memories from over the years.
Thanks for the feedback on the sound 👍

Glad you enjoyed watching my airshow memories 🤗😉
I sure did, thanks :)
To me the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine sound will always be my favorite.
Beautiful sound. I do like the griffon sound too though
the 787 rolling out after the touch and go was impressive
Top flying by the Boeing test pilot Mike Bryan
I liked that too 👍
I live by Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas.
Glad you enjoyed the show! 😉👍
I think it was...... epic and laud and sick and 🫠😶🌫️🤫🧏♂️
I love it all and thank you for the videos we haven’t had and airshow in my state since 2017 and it sucks. I started going to airshows in my mom’s belly and never missed and airshow. Started a family tradition that carried on with my kids until this state stopped the air shows.
Awesome! Yeah all our airshows in the England have been cancelled as well.
Glad you enjoyed all the sights and sounds of my fav airshow moments I've managed to capture over the years 🤗 Plenty more to come👍
@@bobsurgranny I’ll be watching for them for sure
B2 Spirits are always my favorite, got out of my car in Griffin Ga. to go into a bank & for some reason I looked up into the sky on a clear day and one of them was banking and the full outline was visable LOL, if I hadn't of known what it was I would of been freaking scared to death, even though I knew what it was it still looked frightening LOL
I know what you mean, it's just such a surreal shape for a human aircraft, even weirder when you have it glide over head in person 👽👽
@@bobsurgranny That morning I wasn't aware there was a airshow in a town west of us so it must of been turning to fly into there, and guessing it was maybe 5 miles east of my location and I didn't hear a thing LOL
F-16's are my favorite airshow performers. Hot Rod plane. Nice and loud.
Mmmm could agree with that. You can always FEEL the power of the F16 throughout the display.
And yes the louder the better 😁
Glad you enjoyed watching my airshow memories
My favorite? ALL OF IT. Colorado Springs, Thank you…3
Pleased you were entertained throughout 🤗👍
Both episodes 1 & 2 were fantastic, great job! I Loved them both!
Thanks, pleased you were entertained and enjoyed both episodes of my fav airshow moments from over the years
Sell you all the F-35s you want. Ohh, those F-22s aren’t for sale.
Another amazing video! I especially love the older planes.
Thanks. Pleased you enjoyed watching my airshow memories 👍
I've gotta say I much prefer the older stuff too
I dreamt of a B-2 flying overhead that was like 20x the size and covered the whole sky
After being very close to one starting up and taxiing a number of years ago, I’ve always thought it didn’t need bombs.
Just the sound of it flying overhead would scare the shit out of anybody.
It’s the loudest thing I have ever heard.
Loved the Griffin... smooth and sweet flying
Glad you picked out that moment. That was pure bliss as that silver griffon Spitfire flew over at high speed
If anyone here has never seen a B1B in full afterburn in person , Do it , you will never be the same.
mega experience 💯
I know right? 30000lb of thrust on each engine on reheat. You can literally feel the ground shake. I remember watching it barrel roll in burn with the variable geometry wing fully retracted at a show years ago. Incredible machine.
I never had the chance to see a B1 take off, but I did get to watch the last take off of the last Air Force SR-71. Just after sunset, lit the burners and climbed faster than anything I have ever seen. The sight and sounds were unforgettable.
Raptors took my breath away! Thank you for the excitement!
They do also have the ability to do that 😉
Pleased you were entertained by my airshow memories
The thumbnail 💀💀
B-2 spirit bomber💀
@@ubebredB-2,not f2
