They didnt dodge the bullet, they shoved it aside and ran. During the 2022 drama, cover corp did an investigation on Rushia. At the start when they announced the investigation, they had shown support and care for rushia. After the investigation concluded however, their stance completely changed. They went full on hostile towards rushia and tried to disassociate themselves with her as fast as possible. It's the same with all her colleagues and work friends. Did you notice how other than a formal response, nobody in hololive actually grieved for her termination?
@@kuratse205 Yup, I remember that abrupt 180. As for the girls' reactions, I thought it was a matter of professionalism while being in front of the camera. I worked in the corporate world for 20 years, and saw at least 100 people come and go just on my team. It's a part of life; after a while, you become desensitized to it. I also suspected that most of them weren't very close with Rushia behind the scenes, given how much she focused on raking in superchats via the whole parasocial girlfriend gimmick. So the terminations and reactions felt like strictly business, nothing personal. Turns out it was far worse...

actually all of that is kinda evident, considering she almost never collabed with no one and even in hololive she wasn't so close to her genmates besides Marine. Lack of interaction clearly demostrate lack of sympathy. My best second example is Saruei before all her art contest drama, before that she wasn't a very sociable vtuber and barely collabed with some people over here and over there, and kinda expose her real personality a bit more until that mess and other accusations in between that pretty much confirmed she being a dumb antipathic person, but after the controversy she clearly took a 180 grade turn and changed her life for good, and that actually was demostrated with a good chunk of collabs with more sociable and reputable vtubers, and being more collaboratibe with others even in bad situations like the Bao scam scandal

She confronted Runa. Runa said something to the effect of "I don't want to share him with a nobody like you either. Don't you know who I am?" and threatens s**icide if the girlfriend leaks anything. The gf went to Korekore (japanese keemstar dramatuber) and unleashed hell.
some juicy parts of the exchange with korekore was: (1) the ex-bf was cheating with 5 other women (2) while Mokou was doing an endurance stream of Nioh at a studio, Runa invited ex-bf over and had sex with him 4 times at the house she was living with her bf, without contraception. she enjoys raw, but has always used condoms with her bf Mokou. (3) ex-bf gave her morning pills and ~85 USD afterwards.
She and her Idolmaster character got so many NTR memes, and the scandal led her to retire from the VA industry.

Towa, my kamioshi, could be married and have kids, and I would cheer for her because I would remember all the shit she went through in early hololive and think “Yeah, she deserves a family of her own.”
I know what you mean and I feel the same way. Hololive members talk so much about themselves and their lives it feels like we know them decently well and being married is such a big part of a person’s life it’s usually something you would know about someone you don’t even know too well. It just feels strange and oddly funny we never knew Rushia was married or that any hololive member could be, not that it really matters or that we need to know.
I would be fairly uncomfortable with my wife doing the kind of content Rushia did, especially the personal messages with the high payers. Towa wouldn't have that problem.

@@lawliet617, those people use streamers as a substitute for a lack of a romantic partner, seeing the streamer as the romantic partner (these are gachikoi and unicorns). When the streamer inevitably gets into a romantic relationship, they get jealous and start being angry towards the streamer for being happy while they cannot be.

If all the statement is true, its basically this:
Rushia and Mafumafu got hitched compulsively. One day, Rushia suspects Mafumafu that he betrayed her. Man did everything to prove he doesn’t. Rushia didn’t believe it, so cheated on Mafumafu too (possibly as revenge), with someone named Mr. B, all without Mafumafu’s knowledge. Rushia is trying to play both sides.
Then the cat’s out of the bag. Mafumafu found out the “tryst” Rushia had with Mr. B and all hell breaks loose. Mafumafu went to confront Mr.B, who seems to be as clueless as Mafumafu was. Funnily enough, Mafumafu is now bros with Mr. B and Rushia’s hand is now completely empty. Indignant and finally had enough of the sh*t he went through, Mafumafu filed for divorce against Rushia.
Then Rushia herself posts numerous libel in anonymous forum to discredit Mafumafu. Man went through the court to reveal who this abuser actually was, which turned out to be his own ex-wife. Now Mafumafu and Rushia is still in an ongoing legal battle, in order to put everything to rest. Once and for all.
Oh, wow. Guess this what happened when a tornado meets a volcano. Whoever comes out of this legal battle as a “winner”, nobody’s coming out unscathed. Both parties will have their career blemished with a permanent stigma.
The only one losing here is mikeneko. MFMF will come out of all of this as an absolute trooper.

@@dashikashi4734 I don't know how law in Japan works, but in this case it sounds like the allegations wouldn't pass into the realm of criminality. They'd be confined to civil matters. She might owe something like damages and could be restricted from communicating with him, but I doubt anything here would warrant prison time.

I've been getting less interested in her, after especially when she tried something against Delutaya. She seemed to not learn not trying to pull drama after the whole korekore thing back she was still in hololive. Whether this story is true or not, I'm simply moving on from her.

I'm definitely seeing myself in Mafumafu here. My parents never loved each other. They're just forced to marry because they were in their 30s. Their marriage definitely wasn't healthy. They barely talked nor did anything sweet. My idea of marriage growing up is having these two people out of love stuck with each other for the rest of their lives. As a consequence nobody can force me to marry someone. Mafumafu, I feel you, man.
