Excellent review! Btw. this plane should be more maneuverable, when you think about the Twin-Mustangs being so maneuverable. The concept/airframes of the Zwilling and those planes are similar, so I can't see any reason why this one shouldn't be more maneuverable, especially when the Bf-109 series have 10.3 sec, the P-51 series have 10.8 sec turn. Of course the P-82/F-82 are flashy premiums, basically a win button at tier 8. Also I've heard that/read on forums or discord that a long time ago, maybe in beta or whatnot Zwilling was the other tier 6 German heavy fighter with 2x30 mm and 2x20 mm. But I don't know what was intended to be the tier 7 back than.
I started playing when version 2 was released in October 2017, so I can't say what the history of the planes was in version 1 of the game. The lower guns are indeed 20mm cannons and before the advent of bombers, they were good guns. These days I think the 30mm cannons are more or less mandatory. I suspect the manoeuvrability of the Twin Mustangs has been exaggerated as WG has moved to a "better-than-tech-tree-vehicles" model for premium ones in the last two to three years.
Bf109Z l have it specialize but never love it. Guns in theory are strong but in practice are very difficult to use. Plane is extremely fragile so it's difficult to go after bombers. I must find out what I do wrong ....Anyway your review is perfect as always it's pure joy to see it!
Not every plane is for everybody, but where I have the Zwilling right now suits me well. I just need to keep an eye on the fire hazard if I calibrate the uprated engine, but the extra speed is valuable.

I like Adrenaline Rush as a pilot skill on the Z. It’s especially helpful when you’re melting entire bomber flights
That's a skill I use but rarely, but immediately I see how useful it is. Thanks for mentioning it.

I Kill bombers with no problem just get your skill points right
@@eebarreto Well, that's right, but it's not as simple as that. But if you're happy with your configuration, I'm happy for you.
@@TheNobleQ full calibration brings the negative trait to it's "legendary" upgrade value. I.e. it's only worse when you have it partially calibrated.
@@nikoladd I confess I'm not sure what you're saying there.
This thing wrecks, I sold it tobuy the 262 but had repurschase it recently, because yes xD
