Mark you don't owe anyone a explanation about those beer bottles..... You're a grown man, paying your own bills. Who cares what they think! You're a great father to these 2 beautiful children, I love the way your always telling them " Papa loves you"!! That just melts my heart!
I JUST WANTED TO SAY I'M GLAD YOU'RE BACK TO MAKING MORE VIDEOS WITH YOUR FAMILY. YOUR VIDEOS HAVE BEEN VERY THERAPEUTIC FOR ME GOING THROUGH TRYING TIMES AND I WATCH YOUR VIDEOS WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY THERAPEUTICNISS IF THAT'S A WORD.ANYHOW THANK YOU
That looks a serious peace of equipment compared to stuff here in London, but as long as it’s ok and gets going for the family! Godbless chazz Julie London uk 🇬🇧❤️👏🏻👍🏻
While I am not an AC technician, I have resolved my own problems a time or two with similar encrusted/dirty AC units but my method was much simpler. I used my shop vac and sucked the dirt out of the evaporator (the front fins) gently using one of my plastic vac attachments. Then, with the AC unit being outside, I used a pressured garden hose and flushed the inside out, including the condenser and the evaporator [from the back side toward its front], being careful not to get the electronic controls wet or at least, not soaking wet. It really was a rather simple task, leaving the AC unit out in the sun to dry before returning into its operating position. Also, in most of my AC uses, I have never had to use an outside supporting rigging to hold the AC, as it was nearly always held in place by the window inside the room of the AC unit. I see you do not have a window there, but it is concrete which would be wonderfully strong to hold in place your AC...But, you would better know this than I, being that you are there and I am not. Then, there is always the need to use thin strips of foam insulation to plug the gaps of the AC in the opening. As for ants, Black Flag has a great ant spray that lasts a long time, that is simply sprayed onto the surface of the ant infected area(s) and will kill the ants upon contact. Other mfg. probably have a similar product. It also would not hurt anything to spray some of this spray on the interior of your infected AC, after it dries, if water is used on it. So, these are just some thoughts of mine as I am not trying to boss you around in any way. That is your place, not mine and if you are happy, then I am happy. As for the air filter, perhaps try some different type of filter, perhaps a foam filter or even two filters together, ie, one foam and then the OEM filter on top of that one. Perhaps, write a note to clean the air filters at the 1st of each month...taping it onto the AC unit in a conspicuous place. Just some thoughts...wishing you all well...
Johnny on the spot, in the middle of a heat wave, when every aircon is going down... A professional, does quality work, and family... A quick rule of thumb I do is divide the php by 5... Then that about what it would be in USD to us... So like $200 for 3 hours of work... Or a whole days pay, for half a day...and i guarantee you he will be back for the other one at that price, on his day off...
I am watching your supposedly AC tech wash the evaporator to clean all the dirt out of it. He is getting some of it off, for certain, but he needs to flush it from the inside towards the outside, otherwise he is washing some or much of the dirt right back into the evaporator, thereby doing a half-assed job in this regard. Furthermore, he should have vacuumed the dirt from the front using a shop vac or something with a good suction...then, flush from the backside towards the front.
Probably would've been better to install a minisplit instead of cutting a hole in the wall and putting in a window unit. A little more expensive up front but quieter and more efficient.
You need to have pressurized portable water pump to get inside the coils for proper cleaning. I pay ₱500 to have my ac professionally cleaned, this is manila price for 2 guys
Great cleaning job and better installation. Just one comment here in Thailand technicians all use pressure washer. Cost 1000 PHP is about the same I pay here 600 THB . They always check refregerant gaz and I pay extra if needed. Scary how dirty your AC was after 6 months
'Up to you' - I remember that line when I first lived in Thailand in 2006. Confusing to a first timer. He did a great maintenance job there anyway and now you have a man that can on your speed dial. Well worth the 1000 pesos I'd say. Thanks for sharing.
The energy efficient variable speed air conditioners ramp up and down unless you set the temperature at the maximum low of 60 or whatever it is. They always are "on" if you keep the power on but sometimes the power use is so low it won't even register on a power meter. You have the right set up just trust and work with it. I run two 12000 BTU Midea window units on small solar units. Plug and play shit. If your interested look up a EcoFlow Delta 2.
Well, I don’t do it anymore but for a window unit and doing what I saw him do at least $100. And that’s if I like you. For a stranger 150.00 $75 an hour is a fare labor rate. It about 2 hours work and I would use a foaming cleaner. A central ac total coil removal and reinstalled is 8 hrs for a regular house plus supplies( Freon and brazing gas). Looks like he did you a good job. For you I would have done it for a good meal I see you do. 😆
Cant go wrong with family members helping you out man, some family members will be fine with a couple of beers. If your related.. in the philippines some would do it for free.. my uncle when i was young does alot of things for us for free😅
Its not about the amount he makes a normal day..its about what his job was worth to you..id happely pay 5k pesos to fix the aircon if i was sweating my balls of and having a flooding in my room.. not to mention that you wont have to ask him twice the next time it needs a good cleaning.😅
Thousand pesos is good for a good job, sometimes we give a little more,,my wife says it’s to keep them from being lazy when they are called out for a job..believe me it works..😊they are always here PDQ..😊
Tell kuya to borrow a small power washer next time he comes out mate. You can’t get all the shit out of the condenser coils with a garden hose. I pay 1500 peso for cleaning of inverter split type. Blokes are factory trained . You get what you pay for in Phils and some things are worth paying to get the job done right by the right people.
Oh my God, imagine. How much of that stuffs in your lungs? Time to pack up the crib time to move to an island where there's fresh air less traffic. No sense in living in paradise if you get cancer. The air conditioner inside may look like your lungs. ❤😂
It's only paper ... take care of those Family & Friends who care for you and yours ... next Family BBQ at your Lodge ... AC-Savior and his gets an invite for sure.
$ goes first. where did you people learn this? LOL this was literally taught to us in 2nd grade and now seems more and more just decide to be "different"
I knew a guy that went to school 🏫 6 years in 1st grade 8 years inn2nd grade and 4 in 3rd grade and he graduated cuz he beat up the principal True story

Wall mount aircon in Montreal canada $350.00 starting parts not included. King you got a real deal
ALSO I LOVE YOUR ENDING INTRODUCTION MUSIC 🎶🎶🎶🎵 I ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE END OVERSTAY ROAD ....NOO RESERVATIONS 💪🏼🤙🏼🎵🎶
Also you need those vents outside for the compressor to cool
Good for you Mark giving the man respect for giving you priority. That’s worth it’s weight in gold. 👍
Always a good idea to have them serviced twice a year, especially with not much rain. The air is a mud pie waiting to happen 😊

Air con deep clean every 3 to 4 months, glad you found the right expert to do it👍
Nice

Spray a Mr muscle first so it dissolve and disinfect.,then rinse...that's what we do to our aircon

There's a filter you can put on the outside to help with the dust

Almost impossible to get good service techs here in the PI. I clean my AC's myself. Plenty of instruction vids on RUclips.

I was talking to my nephew yesterday and his school got canceled cause it was 118 degrees there. 🥵
excellence show 👍👍👍
tlc always pays off to maintain appliances u should also have him check coils on fridge they need cleaning every few months also
Great advice! 👍

Spot on! Take care of the workers if they are good!
1 K is about right, but I usually give them a little extra like 100 pesos for transportation coming and 100 for going and maybe a snack
He did great job on working on air con 👏
👋🏻 Friends please smash 💥 the like 👍🏻 button for Mark and Family upon entering if you will. Thanks 😊
Man I heard the Philippines is getting hit with a massive heat wave. Stay cool my friend
Stay coooool!! ❄️

window ac units like this recycle the freon. In fact this model has a app where you can run diagnostics and tell you exactly what it needs.

Great video
Put some holes on the base of the pan of your ac use a 3/4” bit so water drips out right away

You pay for there skill not the amount of time good job mark I think you paid him more than fair! Great video btw! Stay cool my friend and be blessed!
Have to disassemble and clean every month here in the PI.
You all going to sleep comfortable tonight. Life better you can breath fresh.
He’s got the Philippines standard HVAC uniform too.
Thats about right for normal operations 6 months, here in Manila we found that about every 5 months keeps it at peak condition❤
The drain holes on the tray clog. Drill some more drain holes and unclog the factory holes.
I put a 2x4 in the front of air conditioner. Giving it a tilt towards the street. Good luck 👍

Cant go wrong with family members helping you out man, some family members will be fine with a couple of beers. If your related.. in the philippines some would do it for free.. my uncle when i was young does alot of things for us for free😅
You need to put a extra external filter on it
Here in metro manila cleaning only will cost 2000 to 3000.. .its free if its under warraty coverage within that year ots free..
I usually drill a couple wholes in the back\ side were there’s no compressor they never make them drain probly and the drain wholes clogged
That's not how you wash the inverter type aircon Mark.
You have to disconnect all electronics and power wash the unit.
NO NO NO AND NO. My mother in law has the exact same unit and I have watched multiple videos on how to clean it and power wash is a HUGE no no.
Did the recent Solar Eclipse have anything to do with the world's weather current conditions 🤔
Now that would be something a conspiracy theorist would say…. And that is now why we’re friends 😜👍
See you tomorrow
1K is about right.
Marc...you did the right thing...🫠
Wow . I never seen ur type aircon
More fun in the Philippines 😂
Its not about the amount he makes a normal day..its about what his job was worth to you..id happely pay 5k pesos to fix the aircon if i was sweating my balls of and having a flooding in my room.. not to mention that you wont have to ask him twice the next time it needs a good cleaning.😅
I would have paid at least the equivalent of US $25.

Power washer could damage the coils, never saw a power washer used. You spray a light stream from hose on in side spraying out!!
That is a big a.. hole in the wall. Hope they get it fixed before nightfall.
You paid him the going rate in Manila P 800 to P1000 to clean a unit.
You need Baygon spray to kill the ants
Oh my God, imagine. How much of that stuffs in your lungs? Time to pack up the crib time to move to an island where there's fresh air less traffic. No sense in living in paradise if you get cancer. The air conditioner inside may look like your lungs. ❤😂

I have a perfect record of taking things apart and never getting them back together and working. $17 seems reasonable.
Better get Fatima some Carhartt with that airconditioner

Heard it’s hot as hell in the Philippines right now 😂
Looks mighty dusty
At this size just use a split aircon

17$ to fix air-conditioning. Here in Arizona would of been 60$ just to come out
