Very informative video, you've conveyed much that I was not aware of thanks to your presentation! At this cost it is rather high but, there are certainly many features that make it worthwhile. Something you are perhaps well aware of but, please be careful of your health and others in the vicinity as those fumes (especially from metals containing any amount of nickel - i.e. stainless steel). This fume exposure is high in hexavalent chromium particles which can be very destructive to pulmonary and respiratory organs among other things. Thank you for another very fine video Mr Igor! Now to convince my financial advisor (the wife lol) to allow me to add one of these to my collection!
Thank you. In case that you get green light from your wife, you coul use the affiliate link :-) I am planning another shorter video, just testing it with many other materials, showing the results and used settings. Any wish what material to test?
@@MyTechFun what would results be if possible for glass, fiberglass, porcelain, marble, mirror, ceramic perhaps? It looked quite impressive on the stone! I also liked the ability to do colors despite variation between parts. Is it possible to do multiple color finish for each file sent to laser?
That was nice that you played with plastics. Very few resources about plastic engraving with gweike. I would like to know max resolution you could get on plastic, what would be the minimum letter size possible? I work with electronics, i am considering to buy one to do laser engraving of enclosures, markings for buttons, knobs etc
This laser does so much more. YOU NEED TO play with rhe frequency.. it will cut into copper. just not at same frequency as brass.. Due to heat dissipated.. high frequency low speed High power....
Érdekes, bár szerintem inkább csak marketing fogás az aramid szál. (polimer-polimer között nem hiszem, hogy olyan komoly mechanikus kapcsolat alakulna ki…) Esetleg egy tesztre van lehetőség Uram? Formfutura ApolloX Kevlar
So I just purchased this laser and all my text and vectors engrave amazing on Stainless Steel. However I then try a jpeg with all you same settings (even the same speed and power settings as the text) and the image is so faint you almost can't see it. What am I missing here?
Thank you ! You filled all the gaps missing in the documentation and it helped a lot
I like that very resourceful adapted a vacuum cleaner as a makeshift fume extractor.
looks really cool, didn't know you can color stuff with a laser like this :)

As for the rotary, you can use a 0.1mm segment too.
Can this laser machine remove the reflective layer of a glass mirror ?

Engraving dark colored plastics should , settings should be 1000mms, 20% power 30hz
Thx. I will test it soon.
it takes quite a long time, but is it possible to cut holes/shapes out of thin aluminium/brass?
Yes, as you can see, brass easier than alu. But many passes are needed.
Seems like it would be good for solder stencils. A weirdly specific application.
Can it work with light burn? Do you have to use the gweike software?
They are working on LightBurn compatibility, but currently you have to use GLaser.

Esetleg egy tesztre van lehetőség Uram?
Formfutura ApolloX Kevlar
Gweik is low quality and high proce machine.. In this price we can buy mopa laser machine from chine.
