I am having a hard time to understand what's the point for a diode laser to go way above to that price range where you can actually get a decent CO2 laser? To me the advantage of the diode laser over the CO2 was always the price/cost and the possibility to use big workpieces. (not limited or less limited by the enclosure) for USD 1700 is way above the hobby price. Or is it just me?
Hi Igor nice to see yuo not burning yuor house 😅Yuo have nice machines there , i like the metal engraver , looks very good, and very good camera(good quality ) /editing work
Is the kerf in the x direction bigger than in the y direction? This will affect your designs if parts have to fit together and the kerf is not the same. Good to see that it handles the smoke and fumes properly.
Another great video
Great video
It is nice to see how this channel grew. Wishing you the best!
Thanks…I was just thinking of getting one.
Will this laser cut through thin copper, specifically the layer on printed circuit boards?

I'm glad you found the video useful and that I was able to help. Thanks!

Very interesting, why would the X-axis be weaker than Y at the same speed? Is the focus point not a circle?
It is a rectangle. But this is very common with these engravers, which combines several diodes into one beam.
Like it, just don't have a use for it.
Yes, too expensive just to be a hobby machine. You need some paid projects for it..
