Every dislike is someone who Joey kidnapped but never told us about
Man Joey is giving us something special. I would say his more recent podcasts aren't quite as entertaining and wacky as the older ones, but now Joey wants to give us something different. I feel like we've all got to know Joey over the years, and have heard most of these stories before, but lately he's been getting in depth with exactly how he really felt during these times(previous marriage, in-laws, comedy path.) He's giving us an extremely honest testimony of a 56 year old man from New Jersey. There's such a high volume of wisdom in these new ones if you're paying attention. Sometimes the new ones drone on at times but this is Joey Diaz and the church is about transformation.
Perfectly said.
This is definitely an all time favorite.. will revisit this one for years to come. One of his most emotion filled anecdotes, with many lessons. You can hear the agnst and regret in his delivery. Extremely special.
Preach!!!
Yes
I feel like it’s him passing on some wisdom to Lee, lord knows that boy needs it.
As a middle aged guy in a new town alone. Freshly divorced I can relate to you Joey. Thanks for the advice, I don't know you, but your advice has really helped me
"What a tangle tale we weave, when we tangle to decieve" -uncle Joey
Hahahaha aint the real saying "what webs we weive when we practice to deceive" - I love hearing Diaz butcher that
"Oh what a tangled web we weave / When first we practice to deceive." The line belongs to Sir Walter Scott, from his 1808 poem Marmion.
@@mannfrank5791 ok bro, I think you're missing the point but thanks for the history lesson ya muppet.
@@RM-cv5xu😂😂😂😂 this comment killed me hahahaha
"I got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel" -Joey Bananas
Elvis is dead and I don't feel well myself.
"Volcanoes and synchronised menstrual cycles within the lesbian community will destroy us all..."
It's so refreshing to hear a grown man talk about his real life ups and downs. To hear someone be honest about their life and not try to sugar coat things is so rare. Much love Joey!
Takes some balls...
The man goes online to the whole planet and talks directly about wacking off high on coke in a spaceship in a park... dudes as real as they come.

That's a record for Joey. Not even 0:01 in and we get "there was this guy in Boulder in 91"

Uncle Joey has really been spittin the truth lately. He always does but man, he’s been giving life advice for the younger generations and it’s been hitting hard for me and I really appreciate it. Thank you Joey and thank you church family
heavy show today....Joey is a good man. Makes you look at your own life and understand the moments that define you. I'm 53 and really try to be a good person. Thanks Coco.
Mister Joey, I am 32 years old, from Texas and am going through some very similar to what you just talked about. Haven't even gone to court for all of it yet but what you did say in this podcast hit home in a way that would constitute a level of counseling. Tomorrow is one of the dates for my daughter in court. Thank you for speaking on this topic. Your badass Joey!
shane87floyd Good luck from the heart
Thank you sir for the positive words and I sure will ! Tripped me out, this podcast. Uncle Joey definitely took it to church on this one man.
Thank you Justin Teel!
Hods speed Homie. You're gonna make it out ok. Much love from California, Man.
Thank Bryan Parish! Love Cali and cant wait to visit one day man! It went as well as it could have today, I got my lil girl back but it wasnt without heartache in the court room. Either way my lil ones back with me, thank y'all very much for the positive words and encouragement!!!
PILOT THE BOMBARDIER! We going deeeeeep tonight jack!!
Listening to Joey Diaz always helps me analyze my life. I relate to battling addiction and really living a better life. Thank you CoCo and the Church 🙌🏽
If Joey’s oldest daughter is out there, please reach out to your dad. One day, you’ll realize that you can’t go back and change it, bring him back. He loves you and would gladly take all the hits you have or may have had, just to see you again. Once he’s gone, you don’t get a do over.
Love this real stories, makes me wake up to in my life.
The best podcast ever Joey very honest, I hope Ur daughter contacts you after this much love from Salisbury, UK

He was referring to his height.
Nobody gives life advice like Uncle Joey man
Idk how joeys gets so deep without getting emotional
“There was this guy in Boulder 1991..” most uncle Joey intro ever!
Boulda
Tom N he needs to get merch with these quotes
21:45 That might be the first time Joey actually told us his mother's cause of death. For years he only been saying that he found her dead on the kitchen floor while he was on acid at 15 years-old (sometimes he says 16). But he never elaborated...
Holy fuck
Did his stepdad really do that or did I hear it wrong ?
That’s not how she died. She came home and was cooking and then dropped dead. Who comes home to cook after being stabbed?
His mother pretty much died because of a broken heart in short. Joey said this on Ryan Sickler’s podcast.
You think Juan would’ve lived his full life if he was actively involved? Cmon momos
Whoever's life is so bad that they are taking jabs at Uncle Joey, I feel sorry for you.
I can relate to father and daughter emotions after divorce. My ex got custody of my daughter, who was five at the time and they moved to another city, some 90 miles away. I got visitation privileges and never missed picking her up and taking her back on time. There were times l could tell that she would have preferred to be with her friends. She never said it, but I knew. She’s 45 now and often reminds me of those weekends we shared. And she tells me how glad she is that I was never out of reach. Don’t give up Joey! It’s never too to late to make up for the years you’ve missed. I hope to hear good news some day.
That was more miserable than my own divorce. Made me realize how good my life is, when I thought I had nothing to live for. Thanks Joey.
Thank u Joey. N tears 35 n the same situation 3 daughters. Thank you for being u.
I pray that your older daughter's heart softens towards you and that one day you and she can have a relationship. Also, that Mercy and her sister can know each other
I've hoped that for years :/ she wont speak to him.... maybe one day she can open. I hope :( Joey is family to us all, ya know?
@Steve Jobs how is he brainwashing us to believe he was a victim? The only reason you know about all the bad shit he did is because he owns up to it and talks about it on his podcast all the time.
My favorite episode of the Church so far. This was powerful!!! God bless you Joey.
I send my love and blessings from Laredo Tx where hearing the Church Is staple around here . Uncle Joey is so relatable and real real gift .

Keep on keeping on TIO JOEY!
Thanks, Uncle Joey! I needed this today. Bless You, Sir!
Thank you for sharing your story and the intimate details. As a "every Wednesday and an ever other weekend father" myself I can relate to the emotions. The pain in your heart, the hurt in your child's eyes, the tensions with the ex, the attorneys, all the wasted money and court dates. As different as we all are some things remain the same. Bless you and your family!
Joey I've been following you since 2009 and that show in Dallas Friday was the best set and delivery of that set by you I have ever seen. That show should have been a special. Beyond the show though, finally meeting you for the first time made me realize what a truly warm and loving person you are. You truly treat your fans like family not just random people you make money off of. I really appreciate you sticking around to meet everyone because I know that's not really your thing but you did it anyway and hugged everybody that came up and took pictures. When you're church family you really are family! Joey isn't lying when he says that.
Love you guys keep it up
Cannot wait til the book is finished... You're one of the greatest storytellers, Uncle Joey.
Thank you for sharing this Joey. I’ve been dealing with the same issues for 8 years. Nice hearing someone else that has dealt with this kind of issues. Im still fighting the battles

For sure. I don’t think anyone doesn’t believe that Joey was a degenerate piece of shit dead beat dad. But he got his shit together and trying to stay positive. He has to live with that forever. A lesson to not have fucking kids if you don’t have your shit together.

I love you Joey this really hit hard from experiencing growing up with divorced parents and then fighting and shit while they were together this really made me think deep about it and what I went though I hope you’ve found peace with what happened I’m still working on it, I’ve gotten a lot of shit because Ivs complained about it and I’ve heard that so many peoples parents are divorced but I don’t care I know how isn’t affected my childhood and how it still affects me and this really helped me get closer to making peace with it.

Now I can better understand the rage that makes me feel like a homicidal maniac, thought I was going crazy. Growing up I was suicidal, I directed the rage at myself as a kid. Now its fliped to the people who have hurt me, driven me crazy. On the outside, I am white, female peace and love kind of 26 year old. On the inside, I am a raving nightmare, not always but sometimes. Always haunted by the past, rarely at ease with the frustration and rage. Uncle Joey, your the best at putting thoughts into words.
I feel you. I’m similar.
Love you Joey !! 💪
