There's a lot of words actually similar to bahasa since we're both under the austronesian family. Before spaniards colonized philippines we're already civilized that's why our language, culture and traditions are heavily influenced by south east asian.

So this is a lesson to the Filipino parents who don't teach their kids the Filipino language: Teach your kids the Filipino language!!! It's a part of them. they have filipino bIood.
