Very enjoyable video as always Fabian! I’ve considered potentially replacing my 100-500 with the 100-300 with 1.4x and 2x extenders… how do you find the image quality of the 100-300 with the 2x in particular? Maybe when compared to the 100-500 at 500mm? Thanks
@ Hi Fabian, so I’ve rewatched the video, although you comparison with the 100-300 +2X with the 600mm mkii, which is arguably one of sharpest tele primes Canon have made. From your experience, would you say the sharpness of the 100-500 at 500mm f7.1 is sharper than the 100-300 +2X at 600mm f5.6? Or are they similar? Thanks
Fabian, what is your opinion on flash or artificial light for filling shadows in backlit scenes? I have read articles where they say it is ok, but I am not sure if there is documentation in wildlife photography against it.
