Two things, Blackfyre is the name of Aegon's sword. It was Aegon the conqueror's sword.
The Gullet is the water between the two islands of Dragonstone and Driftmark.
I agree with Diamond. I think Alys Rivers is a figment of Daemon’s imagination. 💭
No one else is interacting with her. Even when she enters a room, no one looks up. I think the steward of Harrenhal was just looking at the space that Daemon was looking at because he thinks Daemon is losing his mind too.
And big kudos to Jace this episode for stepping up and making power moves!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

The girl with the white hair that Mysarias minion went to see was the handmaiden from season 1 that Aegon assaulted and she drank the moon tea. She showed up earlier this season as a waitress in the scene when the whitehair bastard and Aegon both showed up at the same bar.
Ok the bastard Russell Crowe and the Smithsman with the sick kid are 2 different people. But you guys are all on to something. The Bastard Russell Crow I feel is going to get the dragon. I don’t know what’s the Smithsman story is heading to. But I think he’s going to go to Team Black and help them. But these are 2 different people :) 13:24

Aemond has turned King’s Landing into the King’s Ghetto // on an empire-building game of thrones level, it makes very little sense to keep so many people trapped in a city when there are little to no resources to sustain the population. While most small folks probably do some form of labor that feeds and fuels the Red Keep (black smithing, rat catching, carpentry, laundry work, cooking, craft making, etc.) there are many more folks in service occupations (sex work, bartending, inn keeping, food service, etc) that aren’t essential to war production.
Have they organized farmers in the crownlands to bring more harvests into the city? Have they sent displaced or disabled or destitute folks in the city out into the country to help with food production and help ease the strain on resources? Nope! Instead they close the gates (cause we all know that dragons can’t burn gates down lmao).
Can’t wait for the Uprising of the Biggie Small Folk ✊🏿

I think Aemond will let Criston stay for longer than we may expect. Remember Criston trained him in sword fighting when he was a boy and was hard on him but molded him to the great swordsman he is now. Then recall they had that private meeting strategizing together when Aemond said Alicent speaks with two tongues. Aemond views Criston as a necessary asset especially when he been instrumental in his ascension to power. How will get get rid of him? I'm not sure but there's always a possibility

I think the small folk boy saying “I thought they were Gods” is symbolic of two things:
1) The small folk (especially in Kings Landing) think the war is beyond them because they have these dragons that will “protect” them. If a dragon can be killed, so can the one’s they have in Kings Landing and then as they said they believe Rhaenyra isn’t gonna just lie down and not do something. Hence them trying to get out of Kings Landing
2) The Targaryens were conquerers of Westeros right? But I think people largely feared and accepted their rule without question because of their being the only ones who can have relationships with dragons. So they must be above them and Gods themselves. But if Dragons can be killed then are they really Gods? Then the people can challenge their rule and everything about them comes into question.

I love y’alls commentary. Hate how I had to stop listening because of spoilers regarding Baela that no one disclosed was coming. It’s really unfair to your listeners that haven’t read the books and are trying to enjoy the show.
@@NadineCFF we don’t discuss anything from the books. Not sure what you’re referring to but we haven’t mentioned anything about what will happen. Most of our hosts haven’t read the books and don’t want to be spoiled either.
