Hot take: I think penalties for sliding, jumping, and dropping shooting are great. I know cod is an arcade shooter, and has long since abandoned its theme and setting in favor of whacky operator skins and cosmetics, but at least the penalties make it feel SOMEWHAT more ground, as no solider would jump, drop, or slide while firing their weapon in combat.
Game was never intended to be fully realistic dude.
Fire review. I played the beta too and had fun, which I haven’t had fun in a while with cods. Definitely gonna buy now.

Well you indeed get 16 Maps, but considering these 16 Maps should have been a free content update to MW2 initially makes this whole thing an even bigger shitshow. AND HELL NO, the gameplay improvements don't justify a 70$ prizetag because these gameplay improvements are literally just numbers they tweaked and could as well be just a hot fix to MW2. They literally have everything in the code we want, they just have to turn it on or increase/decrease values. That's why we got names above enemies added back so fast, because they literally just have to set one boolean variable to true and it renders the name. It was the same with the MW19 minimap. The minimap has always been in the code, they just had to activate it permanently by changing at least one boolean variable and some minor condition checks.
Health is just a number. Increasing it from 100 to 150 is done within seconds.
I'm even going one step further and bet that they change certain fix to the bad for the beta just to revert them after the players complaint to make them look good. Like, look, we are listening to our players and immediately turned names above enemies back on. WHY WOULD YOU EVEN DISABLE THEM IN FIRST PLACE?
Guys please don't get fooled by them so easily... Holy shit, turn your brains on!
I'm working in that business as a software developer and I have a good understanding on the workload for certain fix to be developed or patched in a game.
MW3 is the definition of "Create a problem, sell the solution"!
It's the laziest call of duty ever made and will be their easiest money grab of all time beside selling recolored shop bundles.
Havent play cod for the last 5 editions. Looking forward to this one, hardly any bad words about beta which is rare for a cod game.

I've been a completionist since MW19, didn't have time to go for obsidian before Cold War. Current;y working on Weapon Grandmaster in MWII. To have all my stuff ported over is ok I guess until I look at the completionist pov and wow I payed 70 to have a 1/3 of the grind done (4/12 mastery camos) on most of the weapons, it feels off. Plus it looks like the zombies is cold war onslaught with MW weapons... instead of traditional round based so it feels recycled. So I don't think it will be worth the 70 until I am done with MWII, I will look for it on sale or get it for free otherwise. This doesn't even include the battle passes which I think are worth it blackcell included.
Guys, if you do not have 70 $ go N play your boring Battlefield 2042 :)

I skipped MW2 and properly loved MW1 how does it compare to that?
if you enjoyed mw1 i think youll enjoy mw3 even more, we just found out today that slide canceling is almost exactly the same as mw1 so you get the good movement along with better maps and better visibility!
You should be in a lobby with 11 other you. The game should balance you against a player skill level that keeps you around a 1 kdr. I should move up difficulty when I string matches together over a 2 kdr or down if less than a 0.5. Just my 2 cents.

NOP. Paying 70$ for some new maps but yet old maps that I do like that's already made that took them 3 days to convert into the new system. I hope people will be smart and wait until it goes on sale. The camping is not good. You think they would make their money on skins and weapon skins that cost a lot. You're better off playing Fortnite, LOL, PUBG, free to play games or World of warcraft, diablo that's on sale.
MW3 looks awesome, but sucks that originally all this content was promised for MW2 since it was going to be a 2 year game untill they jumped ship because it failed financially. However you look at it MW3 was everything that was suppose to be in MW2, but COD devs/publishers want money. At least BF2042 devs stuck with it despite it being a dead game.
