Square Drive Decking Screws fit perfectly over the set screw on the tappets.
Just screw one into a thin piece of ply that's been cut like a flower petal. Then grind off the the excess and glue. 👍
Sub'd.

Thanks for the tip Mik
Looking at longer push rods
Or similar too
Cheers Bruce

Nice one colonel sanders
Great work, I have one off these Braaap’s good bike good and simple to work on.
keep it coming guys..... amazing easy step by step instructions... love it.
Very great advice!! Using enviromental friendly tool for checking the top position. Funny for me because a month ago i stucked my screwdriver inside my CG 110 combustion chamber. Then i had to reassembly the piston block of the engine and clean them up. Hhaha. Greetings from Yogyakarta Indonesia.
Terrimikasi my friend
Wow. Great video! Now all I need is the ST250 to do the work on...
Ha Ha Ha - you’ll find one out there. Get a hot up kit and really enjoy the ride. Follow us as we build our ST 250 to race at Phillip Island and then attempt a World Land Speed Record WooHoo!
Excellent as always!
That mustache is on point.
This is my job I really like this job
I would like to see something about the speedometer cable
Thanks for watching Rafael. What is your particular query regarding the cable? Or the drive unit on the wheel Or how the speedo itself uses the cable to move the needle?
Some good ideas there
Cheers Bruce
Great, informative vid A+
KFC brother 😂😂😂
Hi sir am new subscriber and i would love to know what is that thing they Call turbo that connects pipe back to air cleaner and the one to carburator
Thanks for watching Eric
There are turbo chargers for bikes Eric. Very very few bikes have them as standard factory fit. Mainly used in drag racing.
Tray tuned we’ll do a feature on them into the future
Great video. Thank you for posting. Any chance I could get on of those handy little 3D printed square adjustment tool posted out to me? Happy to pay.
Haven’t thought of selling them. I’ll look into it and get back to you. Cheers Bruce
@@TwistgripTales I would also like one if you decided to sell them
What oil cooler for the single oil out rocker cover 8ml bolt seems small for oil out
Yes will do a feature on the 2 options of oil coolers. Thanks for watching and stay tuned.
Great video! Thank you so much 🙏.. Quick question though. Is it essential to use an offset feeler gauge? Or would a straight one work just as well?
There is plenty of room for either type of gauge on the ST250 So what ever you have or is comfortable Enjoy your ST250 Merry Christmas
Cheers Bruce
Hi Bruce, I followed the steps in your video and my Braaap is running a lot better now 👍 Thank a million
Sooo good! XD
Thanks Robbie, Glad you like our work with the Braaap. This year we broke an Australian Land Speed Record. Next year we are planning break one or 2 World Land Speed Records. Follow us to the Salt 2024
Cheers Bruce
Finding tdc with the kick start is just silly. Open the flywheel cover like a sensible person.😂
It’s never easy Tinkerin’ the point is to educate as to what the relationship is and between what and what. So many new riders don’t know what is inside. What does what and why. How are they connected. More videos to come. Thanks for watching
Cheers Bruce
Small little engine he got that right lol
Aftermarket oil cooler link in video please
Will be doing a product review on each of them soon. Thanks for watching
Where can I find the model to print my own one of those tools?
To fit a 3mm square tappet screw. Finger wheel to suit your assets.
Thanks for watching
Cheers Bruce
Why does your feeler gauge look much thicker than my 0.04mm one? 😂 My 0.04 Kingchrome gauge is microscopic
I don’t know Wayne. My feeler gauge is in inches 3 & 4 thou of an inch used. Not much clearance but just enough.
Merry Christmas
Cheers Bruce
Will this need to be done on the st400 aswell
Valve lash needs to be checked on all 4 stroke engines in cars motorcycles, planes & boats and adjusted as required.
Yes it will Deb check your owners manual for frequency of checking and correct settings
Hey guys
Fillar guage no ....
A simple feeler gauge set. Yes flat
What's the size of the filler gauge?
Ain't that 'auto'-sidestand a bitch 😁
Yeh l was always told when adjusting valve clearances to always air towards loose - Better a harmless slight hint of tap than a burnt out valve.
BTW Where are the timing marks on tjat bike to set TDC
Thanks for watching Mark
Yes those timing marks are so hard to see. It is pretty easy to convert that suicide side stand into a nice tame one. Thanks for your input. Merry Christmas cheers Bruce
Two blocks of treated pine 4" x 4" or 6" x 6" and 300 mm long skew nailed side buy side and use as a stand, Cost $3.00 including nails.
rubbish bikes
Plenty of other bikes if you don’t like old school
