Man I wish Honda would modernize the 400 engine from the XR400, a CRF400F would be 🐐

I so agree we always begged Honda for a four-stroke engine in the CR frame and then they delivered the slipper piston unicam off-road bikes but they're just not what we wanted. This engine sounds amazing but specs show that it's heavier than the XR
Electric start XR400 would be amazing!
Yes with electric start, because my Xr 400 is a pain in the ass to start
@@TopRevs I think there is a way to put electric start on a XR400R by using parts from the trx400ex quad.

Honda Trail bikes are the best in the market. The 2023 Crf250f is a game changer. Cheap, low maintenance, bullet proof.

I would love to see a video of you installing everything on this bike! I have a 230F that I would like to turn into a dual sport but I live in California… TBH I’m not sure how complicated it would be but It would still be cool to see the progression on this 250. Love you Tanner and Alexis!

I live in St Pete florida and just bought a 2014 street legal CRF250l for $2,500 last night. I feel like I got a smoking hot deal and I’m pumped about it and ready to clock some trail miles with it. Your videos definitely helped me pull the trigger on it. Cheers!

For what I do trail riding and playing around I would love to add one of these to the stable. Seems like the perfect bike to just go out and trail ride all day. I love my 2 strokes but definitely want to give one a try!

I have had one on pre order for six months now. Just found out Tuesday, I get my bike on the next round. I’m excited to see more videos on these bikes. I think it’s cool that you folks ,with the rider experience you have, don’t dog the bikes like other channels do. All bikes have their intended purpose! Yes, you guys got good deals on those bikes. Here in Idaho they are always for sale at 5K plus used. Never seen one for less than $4500. Great videos!!

That’s nuts. The dealer I got mine from three months ago (2023) said they were having trouble getting stock. I got lucky and grabbed one before it hit the floor. It probably helped that we picked up 2 other bikes that day too (110 & 125), but I have no idea how the sales stuff works.
I’ve been riding every day since and have put north of 500 miles on them all. I’ve been hill climbing, riding wheelies, and doing small jumps like there’s no tomorrow, and I’m only 3 months into it. Prior to that, the only two wheels I’ve ever been on were bicycles.
I wish they offered a version of the 250r with the basic reliable performance of the 250f. I’d enjoy the weight savings and better suspension, but I have little need for the extra power. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to have the whole package, but the maintenance schedule doesn’t look like fun (I’d rather be riding).

I have the same bike and I total understand all of this. But if I can add a suggestion, The best mod I ever did is the Rekluse clutch.

I had a 300L for a year, and sold er but then picked myself up an Africa Twin. i hvae been watching this 250f on your channel for abit now and i am diggin it... if i find one it might be the next in the stable.

The air cooled bikes are the best. my klx140rf I put 500-575 hours on it ran perfectly fine the whole time Adjusted the valves three times till I traded it

I’m in between the CRF250f and the Beta Xtrainer. I know she has had both. Just curious on preference. I live in FL with a lot of sugar sand. I rode street bikes for years and when I was younger grew up riding atvs and dirt bikes. I have experience, just getting back into things. Any advice would be appreciated.

Definitely just cosmetic stuff that can be addressed easily with a bit of time & elbow grease buy a few new parts give it a nice tune & you will have nice little bike these crf are actually pretty nice underated bikes in my opinion great channel brilliant content 👊💨

One question..... What's the better over all green lane, Forrest ,hill climbing bike. The 250f or 300L?
I've ridden the CRF300L off road and have spent a fair amount of time on the CRF250F. Being a dual sport, the 300L is a compromise off road. The CRF250F is made to be a trail bike. So it is much better than the 300L at that. If you were to plate it as they've done with Tanner's bike, the CRF250F is a real compromise on the road. So it all depends on what you want. But for green lane, forest, hill climbing, the CRF250F is way better. From my experience.

Your Cabin is awesome. Needs a wood stove but you may wish to Consider a Thermal Mass Rocket Heater Bench. I heard about that Ravioli Tube, should be interesting to see its longevity.
Wood stove was the plan, but winter came too fast. Ravioli tube 😂 yeah I hope it holds up to my expectation!

You'd probably be better off with klx300r. Better suspension.

For height purpose how tall is she. I want one of these and want to see how tall I need to be to ride it.
Inseam is more important than overall height. I’m 6” (32” inseam) and can sit completely flat footed. My brother has a 30” inseam and is on the balls of his feet, almost flat foot (if memory serves). It’s shorter than the crf230, I believe, and most other bikes in the same size range.

I like watching this video & seeing someone enjoy riding especially a girl and she was doing a good job. She needs a helmet. But I don't know much about Honda crf 250 as I was a Yamaha YZ 125 person. With all the surge of 4 stroke bikes over 2 stroke last 20 years as I've been looking into 4 strokes like Yamaha 250 xt & wr, but they are dual sport. The Honda crt looks like more of a great trail bike. The trail riding is more important part of motorcycle riding for me than dual sport riding on pavement.
I don't think Yamaha xt 250 is much of a dirt bike compared to crf. I've looked at many crf videos & it looks like a very good 4 stroke for serious trail fun & seems to be a much lighter bike than xt & wr Yamahas.

They used acid to clean the engine. It cleans well but rust every thing.
Me and my gf just started renting a town house and it sucks i want to live off grid in a cabin like that haha id rather spend my money on dirt bikes than an apartment.
I've always hated the idea of apartments, give money away to something that isn't yours. Definitely would be nice if it was easier to buy property and houses in this market for a lot more people, hope you can do that for yourself one day!

Japanese brands excel at 80's technology.
That corrosion and rust is from using harsh cleaning chemicals and leaving them on too long.
You can tell especially with the chain and engine cases being so rusted with such Minimal wear/boot rub and being such a newer bike it’s

Looks like maybe it was exposed to road salt. Good ,solid bike though.
Man I wouldn’t have paid more then 2700 and that’s kind of a stretch. I got my klx300r 2020 for 5600 out the door. With a 3 year warranty. Their 250s are even cheaper. Also I think you might hate the trail tech voyager pro. It’s awesome but I know how cheap you are. And I think it’s over sold just a little.
