Had the same issue on my rebels and I started over fresh and made sure the screw into the lever was tighter and that fixed it

There are some clippers that have a slightly loose bracket that can be the issue. Which makes it harder to zero gap sometimes because the corner of the blades moves a bit but when the clippers are on it should move around. Only when stationary which I get is still kinda annoying

Does the sponge thing inside by the motor go like there or more down to stay up ?
I recommend leaving it where it belongs to keep noise levels down or else you can possibly start hearing a different noise on them

Does anyone have the same problem as me I bought two zero gapped both ... but one side is always higher than the other
I just purchased 1 on Friday and having the same issue.
I even changed rail metal piece that the company sent to 1 of my coworkers to fix his problem and still one side lower than the other and when I move the lever to the 3, 4, 5 click the blades is all crooked
How much do you charge to zero gap? Or do you do it for free if machine is purchased through you?
Can you use any lever to switch out the clicking one?
I believe the wahl ones fit on it as well but to make it a floating lever all you would need to do is take off the lever and remove the metal piece it comes with that created the click and put it back on creating a floating lever. 👍🏼

How do I know if I’m purchasing the 5v or the 9v version?
The 9v are the newer model and they look way different and also i believe they’ve only released in the uk for now

Your clippers are probably not zero gapped correctly brother they should take off the line effortlessly

Same I zero gapped mine but it doesn’t take out the oine like a magic clip does

You should open the clipper up and see if nothing is Broken. If it is broken it’ll be near where the lever screw tightens up. Check for cracks.

Can you do lineups with these?
You def can but not recommended brother. I would just use a trimmer for best results 👍🏼

The plastic body of the machine is very weak and tends to break easily.😥🥴
This maccine is a pain in the ass to zero gap, or dissassamble. U should win a certificate to assembly this fucking machine without damaging the screws.
