Really hard to believe how incredible these guys sound - live - approximately twenty years after the original release. This is a real gem…and a masterpiece.
.I have never seen the eyes of Jim Seals. So beautiful.. RIP Jim Seals. And much love to Dash Crofts....one of the best singers of our generation.
Love these guys I'm 66 years old
There aren't many artists that can make my eyes well up with their music.
These guys sing from the heart ❤
I agree 100% with you. the song that pulled at my heart and made me cry was " the boy down the road" .
First time I sawJim without beard. He look’s fantastic!
Yea - he looks handsome - didn’t recognize him.🤗
Looks way younger than he did with the mustache and goatee in the '70s!
Jim is unrecognizable here.
I love the song Hummingbird, takes me back to when life was good and I was truly happy...will that ever return...
RIP dear man Jim Seals. Well done Sir. Well done!
Jim & Dash are the soundtrack to my high school years. They influenced my career in writing on such an ethereal level. Jim's passing hit me hard. I had the honor of meeting them after a concert at Sea World. They had such a powerful, yet humble presence. I will love them forever.💖
yes, they were really special...Dash still is.....I did a quantum leap in chord theory playing their music....
My idols!! Long live!
My Pops played the mandolin from the time I was in my mothers belly until his death in 2020. I miss him and the mandolin music so much. I have always loved Seals and Crofts music....who wouldn't?
who will replace these geniuses of Soft Rock/Pop if Crofts decides to hang up following Seals' passing? Such Unity, Professionalism and Talent must be remembered often! I think I've listened to almost all their known songs and I am not disappointed.
They don't need replacements. We need more talent like this though
Rest in peace Mr. Jim Seals.
Love Seals and Crofts. RIP Jimmy.
Sou brasileiro ,e amo as músicas dessa dupla maravilhosa, me sinto com lágrimas nos olhos 😢
Obrigado Ronald por sua resposta muito aberta e sincera
I feel the same. I listen them everyday while working.
King of the Hill is my favorite song of theirs. RIP Jim.
Great performance of Hummingbird! They should have let it finish completely though in editing the video. Jim looks younger here than he did in the 70's. They should have just kept going in the 90's.
I think so too!
such great performers and songwriters.
Wish they were still alive because there music will never die every time I hear there music I wanna cry it's so pure and beautiful ❤️❤️
Dash is still alive...
I fell in love wt their music 50 yrs ago and i still feel the same way today.. godbless them.. their music put me in another plane.. very spiritual... 12:47
Love their music. RIP Jim
Wow! Was just getting use to seeing Dash’s biker look, then here Jim is clean shaven?! Seriously did not recognize him till he started singing! Love their music but I never followed them closely. Got to admit it’s a good look!
R.I.P. Jim Seals. Thanks for all the wonderful music you gave us. I have to agree with an earlier comment in that Jim looks much younger in this clip than he did in the 70's.
Well said!
"Soft Rock" was a subgenre of Pop Rock that originated in Southern California in the 1970s with simple, melodic songs. It was something that dominated radio at the time. Who fits into "Soft Rock"? Phil Collins, Eagles, Rod Stewart, America, Carpenters, Neil Diamond etc. Well, it might not even be my favorite style (and maybe yours too), but something of that kind of nice and easy listening music was certainly appreciated. "Seals & Crofts" were ubiquitous at one time. One of the most successful attractions of the so-called "Soft Rock" in the 70's, the duo composed by Jim Seals and Dash Crofts met in 1958 playing together with the singer Dean Beard. But he only decided to go it alone as a duo in 1969. Seals played guitar, sax and violin, while Crofts handled drums, mandolin, keyboards and guitar.
Life long love...
The drummer, I think, is not with this song.
Excellent as always.
No idea what you are (or rather, not) hearing. The drummer played this brilliantly.
Yea, idk bought that 🤷♀️ , rip Jim ❤ Thnks for the music 🎶
Hello Lisa, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??

My goodness, they were so good.
Big fan, saw them 3 times in the 1970s and made sure to catch their early 90s reunion. Thanks for sharing this video 👍
Cool !
Same here, 3 (or 4?) times during their hits era and this reunion tour in 1992. No one else like them, in a class by themselves. RIP Jimmy

My God whatever happened to the music in America. It sure doesn't sound like this anymore. The whole wonderful music industry that we have is completely collapsed. No new artist worth listening to it all
