For me it was an awesome experience, I will also walk across the island of Batam, but it’s slightly smaller but a little more dangerous 🤪Thanks for the donation my friend..
@@HiddenHammock There's one at the gate to Seletar, that airbase you skirted early in your trek. I covered where the japs landed, the Ford Factory where the surrender took place and some of the forts and defenses on Kent Ridge. Do something like this again and walk in 30-40 minute laps. Then rest and rehydrate for 10-20 minutes in the shade, then do another lap. I could see you broke through the barrier. Hitting the wall we used to call it in the army. You get to the point where you think you can't go on and then BAM! you break through and you're floating. You been there, brother.
What a unique way to see the city. In a way I've never seen it. The Canal's, the towpaths, the Park trails, so clean and tidy City. With the Rocky Balboa moment at the end. It was a real feel good vlog.🥰
Hey brother I actually went to the 711 when I finished and do remember seeing some graffiti there I might have some footage somewhere. I have to go back and check. It was a super long walk and I when I watch other RUclipsrs do it I know they faked because it’s an epic trip and I was totally wrecked afterwards and you can tell 😂
Thanks Ickysnowman, I had an amazing time in Singapore. I plan on coming back on the 16th as I’m currently in Batam at the moment editing my content. I hope spend some more days exploring Singapore, so keep following along 🇳🇿💫🇸🇬🫶
You walked right pass some shops at the firsy canal that literally sells towels. You walked past my home when you walked below the first bridge at sembawang
Really? I really needed a towel that day😂👍 I will be doing another walking adventure soon in the future. I’m currently on the island of Batam. I would just like to thank all the Singaporean people for their hospitality, I had an enjoyable time in your country and hopefully in the future I can return soon🇸🇬
That was a wild adventure. I actually plan to walk across Batam island 🏝️ so expect a sequel soon. It’s slightly smaller island, so I shouldn’t need a sleep next time.🤘🤪
The burner is use to the burn the Chinese joss papers, also known as ghost or spirit money, are sheets of paper that are burned in traditional Chinese deity or ancestor worship ceremonies during special holidays. Joss paper is also burned in traditional Chinese funerals.
Hey bro! Congrats. You are a strong man. Dont complain. Soldier on! Good thing you went Ns instead EW otherwise you will be grilled . Maybe next time. Come back singapore! Well done
@@HiddenHammock good to hear! Maybe do a west east hike raffles marina to pulau ubin trip or a coney island to labrador park one haha...you decide cheers my friend!
20:00 I literally laughed out loud when you said “it’s all fun and games until a bunch of them”! Some of the long-tailed macaques and banded langurs in Singapore are known for grabbing shiny objects & plastic bags cuz in the past (and maybe present) some locals have been feeding them, so they see any bags as food - leading to, yes you guessed it, a fine to be imposed for feeding animals in Singapore! Hahahaha
This was my favourite video from Singapore and I really enjoyed the journey, it was amazing. I will visit Singapore in the future as I had the most amazing time and all the local people were really beautiful to me and I can’t wait to return and film some more content.🇳🇿💫🇸🇬
That ‘Burner’ Stuff you were mentioning about is for Buddhist / Taoist people tradition , it is believed that burning of paper items and hell notes would be passed onto the afterlife spirits 🙈.
I gotta be careful of lots of stuff.. i’m in Indonesia right now. The rats here are the size of American footballs.. there’s also crocodiles so no camping by the water.😮
Collapsing or folding bike be good for the urban explore? The first youtuber I started watching was Casey Neistat and his electric sk8 board, can't knock beating the feet tho🫡🫡🇳🇿🛹🤘🍻🏝🔝🏕🏖
I buy those small white cotton towels and hang one down my back to collect sweat. Otyherwise when you go into an aircon building you get pneumonia. In Singapore you sweat like a rapist; goes with the territory.
Awesome video Josh! Congratulations on crossing the whole island in 1 day! Loved it, great job! On to Batam!🤘Hidden Hammock🤘 #stealthcampingalliance
For me it was an awesome experience, I will also walk across the island of Batam, but it’s slightly smaller but a little more dangerous 🤪Thanks for the donation my friend..
I walked most of that in 2012 during my research trip to study WW2 battles there. It was a killer! The humidity does you in. Respect brother.
Wow, that sounds fascinating my friend. Where abouts was the display helicopter again?
