There's 2 new shortcuts to dks. 85 agility shortcut from the waterbirth teleport takes you just past the pet rock/rune thrownaxe section. And 81 agility shortcut brings you most of the rest of the way through the dungeon. Also the christmas crackers are maintaining a decent street value for now because people are turning them into death for the still-inflated ge value. Since recording this, they changed mining gloves so now they no longer work for sandstone/granite

The thing I really like about these videos is getting to see all the updated things without having to personally run all over the Gielinor to look at them myself. You spend the couple hours running all over so we don't have to. Appreciate it!

I actually had no idea coal gave no exp at motherlode mine. That makes a lot of sense why my exp varied so much, and why I kept seeing everything say not to go there at lower mining levels.
I've been one of the RS players that never quit (all of them), and I have seen the game and all of OSRS slowly develop throughout the years. This has to be one of the biggest efforts to date to finally update the older parts of the game and make them relevant/more convenient/more feasible to interact with but again it took this long to do it. Makes me wonder if Brighter Shores releasing soon has lit a fire under Jagex to finally fix up the game as they should have ...
And after seeing the slayer task list get updated, I immediately redownloaded and might hop back in because now it actually looks enjoyable. Seems like it worked

Yep and now instead of having problems retaining people at the early and mid game it's going to be retaining people at the late game when they realize that getting past base 80s takes forever. Then we'll have people whining that training to base 85s-99s is too hard and takes too long. Yeah, no shit. It's cause 99.9% of content isn't designed to be done on a maxed account. Maxing is an achievement/bragging right, not something you're entitled to lol.

I did about two hours of gnomes at 88 thieving and got 5 clues from 824 successful pickpockets. Includes clue completion time, I suppose you could stack a bunch and do them that way now as well

The reason people are purchasing them are exactly what you showed. They are purchasing them to put into death's coffer. Another youtuber a friend put out a video regarding this so its had a fair amount of exposure today to make people more aware and may be impulsively participating due to this information.
It's just Menu-Entry Swapper for clicking through the rock. The empty rock is a different entity, so you swap the left click to "Walk Here" and it clicks through.
All the agility stuff was polled. I remember voting on it and commenting that marks of grace need to increase as you get better rooftops Also zalcano is really messed up right now. Rewards are default recused by like 90% and mass kills are too fast to get credit

As someone who's highest skill is Agility (96), this is the first time I've ever felt the urge of "well it was hard for me, so it should be hard for everyone!" that seemingly every OSRS player has, but I will fight that urge down. Would have been cool to get some compensation for all those Ape Atoll laps I did markless though
Props for fighting that urge. As the old greek proverb goes: "A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in." The game will never improve when the old boomers constantly vote things down because they suffered through lower xp rates/rewards.

Glad they decided to rework skilling at this scale. For someone who is maxed already, I like that players now can do skills less tediously for their alts!
They need to have perks for each graceful set recolor instead of just cosmetic" for looks" like green hosidius for wcting xp or somerhing. Storing skilling outfits into graceful sets similar to having max cape and having all the perks from that.
At least getting 99 agility for the third time wont be as bad at rooftops did 1st main pre sepul, 2nd main at sepul and now iron will most likely be a mix of ardy and sepul.. also about time for the 96 for the legends shortcut
The agility changes are a bandaid solution. XP bumps don't make the skill more fun to train. What makes them more fun to train is actually having something worth grinding the skill for. Right now, the only reason people train agility is for the shortcuts and/or bowfa requirement for later. That's why most people don't train past 70-75 agility. No reason to. If you want to make agility more impactful/rewarding to train, then make it actually do something EFFECTIVE with run energy and make it so we actually fail shortcuts and agility courses less or not at all past a certain agility level. RN it pretty much does nothing to your run energy.
For multiple clues I found a bug back in like 2008 where if you had multiple clues on the ground you could drop them across worlds moving them to a F2P world then pick them all up because they became member objects, pretty sure that bug would still be in the game now. I don't play osrs so can't try
This is crazy, im reading through the patch notes and they are buffing skilling massively across the board. Seems not bad, I only play iron so I like skilling, but imagine for the average player skilling is mostly dead content. This seems to be a decent way to bring back dead content, albeit at the cost of power creep and "easyscape".
This is interesting.. I'm working on agility at canifis and usually I get 1 mark of grace every 4 turns but now I get a mark every 2 turns.. going to make the graceful set more easily. I already got the head, chest, cape.. and I'm going make agility my first 99.. as annoying that maybe it will be worth it.. to get it over with
So imagine wearing the full smithing gear to give more xp when smelting at the blast furnace but also having the effects of graceful so you dont waste your run energy as fast.
That explains why I got lucky on the one of those rings and now wish they increase from 10 to maybe 15 or 20 makes a little fair because a 100% grantee. I don't want ask for anything higher than 20 because than it little unfair, but it be worth it at 20 maybe 25 but than it being pushing it. Like meet I the middle 15 will be cool. Now I going try the gem and agility thing.
I've noticed the loot drops at Zalcano are a lot less than they used to be, might just be bad luck but I only made 680k in 22kc in a 4-man group, not counting the crystal shards. I suspect they wanted to nerf the drops since they expected more kills per hour there, but its terrible money now compared to how it used to be.
TIL Blowpipe crafting requirement was only 53 fletching. That's like, less than a yew shortbow lol? What a weirdly imbalanced thing to have had in the game for so long and I never once questioned it XD

Superiors should be boosted in single combat areas from konar because of the variety of monsters and locations not blocked and the lack of multi combat area and then that assigned monster even having a superior variety. Like a crazy amount increase like 5x. For balancing slayer exp a hour. Also every slayer monster should have superior variety. Even like dogs, which killing ardy dogs in ardounge with just fire strike unlocked and on long range you almost get like the same slayer to defense experience but you should hit def first assuming you started training them at lvl 3 , because most monsters share the same hp regen health as players in normal game(unless they added superior to every monster in slayer has a superior) and should hit like 30 def and slayer after two task. So it should be “a sketchy dog” and konar wouldn’t assign that but if you got it , it should always drop a long bone. And it should have a aoe range attack with bones if out of melee range and it should be like 10 ticks lol and a low regen rate or none .
The mage training arena changes are BIIIG. Shame I already grinded out my bones to peaches and Infinity boots. Might go back and get the master wand if I can't think of anything else to do.

Don’t assume ppl at amethyst don’t pay attention, just finished making 800k amethyst arrowtips on my uim lvl skiller, took months and now this comes out, I had idle notifier on for 2 seconds to try to make the grind a lil faster but took me about 7 months but 2 months was leagues, btw I never saw u at ape atoll agility course on leagues, I knew u would be there but wasn’t lucky
I do not like the removal of most superior slayer task from the lower slayer masters, why even have 1-40 slayer monster at this point if you need 85 cb to even see them.
Runecrafting having a graceful alternative allowing you to wear the full runecrafting set and giving you the ability to wear full graceful for long trips.
81 agility for waterbirth shortcut that lets you completely skip the entirety of the walk to DKs? Not since graceful have I actually had the excitement to grind out agility!!
@@callofangels7 so normally after the rune thrownaxes spot, you need to go down a ladder, but there's also a ladder that goes up, this puts you just above the the entrance of the dungeon and has a dig spot for a clue scroll. You couldn't get here any other way besides the ladder. Now you can just climb up some rocks with 85 agility from the entrance, therefore negating the rune thrownaxes and the pet rock/friend requirement for the dungeon.
The store task for free is nice. The cancel task im never going to use because my muscle memory to instantly open rewards and cancel is too strong. So its w.e. I'm all for making QOL stuff, even if im already 99. Some of the grinds were absolutely garbage and totally unfun, if they make them fun and a bit more efficient im ok with that.
I literally say this is the most efficient way to train! How i keep my self from going back to no lifing😂 just wait years and every method will be 10x faster

Thank god. My first task at Chaeldar was 8 steel dragons. I was level 70 ish with no gear.

Been playing for over 20 years. While I enjoy the changes and improvements, part of me does wish we had a pre GE game. As original as it was in 02-03.

Don’t assume ppl at amethyst don’t pay attention, just finished making 800k amethyst arrowtips on my uim lvl skiller, took months and now this comes out, I had idle notifier on for 2 seconds to try to make the grind a lil faster but took me about 7 months but 2 months was leagues, btw I never saw u at ape atoll agility course on leagues, I knew u would be there but wasn’t lucky
why did i spend all my gold nuggets on gem packs when i got 99? i still do mining for a little afk stuff and i want that top floor hopper now
I do not like the removal of most superior slayer task from the lower slayer masters, why even have 1-40 slayer monster at this point if you need 85 cb to even see them.

81 agility for waterbirth shortcut that lets you completely skip the entirety of the walk to DKs? Not since graceful have I actually had the excitement to grind out agility!!

If you include the other agility shortcut, you don't even need a pet rock or rune thrownaxes

@@callofangels7 so normally after the rune thrownaxes spot, you need to go down a ladder, but there's also a ladder that goes up, this puts you just above the the entrance of the dungeon and has a dig spot for a clue scroll. You couldn't get here any other way besides the ladder. Now you can just climb up some rocks with 85 agility from the entrance, therefore negating the rune thrownaxes and the pet rock/friend requirement for the dungeon.

The store task for free is nice. The cancel task im never going to use because my muscle memory to instantly open rewards and cancel is too strong. So its w.e.
I'm all for making QOL stuff, even if im already 99. Some of the grinds were absolutely garbage and totally unfun, if they make them fun and a bit more efficient im ok with that.
It's not about maxxing it's about the xp we earned along the way.🖤
