Finally someone has made a significant step toward reducing the outrageous cost of owning multiple wheels. I also hate the fact that with every wheel, I had to learn a new set of buttons with different mapping. This innovation makes sim racing easier and less expensive. Kudos to Asetek.
As someone who is just now getting bit by the sim racing bug, this is the kind of stuff that makes me want to hop into the Asetek ecosystem. Definitely moved your product line to the top of my list.
@@JoFandango I am not sure that your idea is the same as mine but I also thought about the button box being fixed with some kind of quick release where the rims quickly clip and detach on it (on the button box). That would have: 1- Made it really cheap as you only change a rim with no electronics. 2- Made it much quicker to change than to use bolts. Trust me I've had the Thrustmaster TH8A shifter and I have always been lazy to change to sequential or to H-pattern because of the bolts and the small fuss.

This brand is relatively cheap and so popular although it goes under the radar of sim racing RUclipsrs. More peripherals = more fun. I would never get rid of my clutch pedal or handbrake. Enjoy shifting and driving good luck!
this company is just beyond impressive when it comes to listening to demand and covering the majority of the market with 1 solution... only downside is the loss of the two thumbencoders but the rest is genius
Very intelligent designs. I love the modularity and compatibility. Now if you create a wheel with integrated screen that is simhub compatible. You will dominate. I hope to someday get a chance to lay hands on some Asetek gear to give it a try..

Not overpriced.And the CEO is looking like a very serious guy for he's products.For now I hear only postive things about asetek. And when the boss is speaking about his products and standing for hes products it must be good. Keep going 👏

Thanks Asetek for new wheels in good price. The biggest problem at the moment is... I would like to move away from me my Invicta wheelbase and use QR extension cord, but extension cord is on steering wheel side. If I will own 5 your steering wheels I will have to buy 5 extension cord. In my opinion extension cord should be on wheelbase side.
I was hoping for a round wheel! Still want the other wheel but maybe this is better to start with because i want to drive rally/street cars to. Asetek simesports is awesome. They don't get the attention they desereve if you ask me.
I can't decide if the modularity is cool or pointless, but I'm leaning towards pointless: when would you ever actually swap between different rim setups? My guess is never. It takes too much time and effort to do it "on the fly". So what is the benefit of the modularity then? If this was modular using a standard six bolt pattern system where you could mount *any* standard steering wheel, then it would fill a purpose. In it's current form, I'm not so sure... Prices could be worse, but could also be a lot better.
One thing I don’t get with Aseteks design is why is the logo red but all gear orange? It clashes, I’ve never seen red and orange together looking good, just go either red or orange
The rims are looking stunning and their prices are very fair. The innovative system is unbeaten to date. I don‘t like the design of your wheel boxes yet. All-black and less 80s style would catch me a lot more! I hope the Invicta will be all black, more elegant and has LED modern buttons for around 800€.
I wanted to ask something. I only see La Prima and Forte button boxes on your website. I am getting the Invicta wheel base and I would like to use the all round wheel but it says compatibility is only for La Prima and Forte. Is there any round wheels for the Invicta? I can only see a formula wheel :(

Hi both the La Prima and Forte button boxes are compatible with the Invicta wheelbase. In fact a lot of different steering wheels are. 🤙
