But it isn't possible to mount the wheels to another wheelbase with another QR isn't it? I would have to change the base side QR and buy a new QR for all of my wheels, correct?

They really are. Obviously, it's not a replica wheel, but the feel and size are very similar
The feeling in the hand is very similar. There are things you need in a real car wheel you don't need in a SIM, and things in a SIM you need that you don't need in a car, so a one to one replica just wouldn't work anyway
