I really enjoyed this whole series. This is such a great looking trail. I love that you have different options for anyone that isn't comfortable on the more difficult features or for days you just want to take a different route.
Phil I completely understand not wanting the same routine everyday. I've been landscaping for a long time and my dream now is help you build this bad ass trail. Best part of all you content is that you literally went from professional mtn biker to landscaper to carpenter to running equipment. I love your vids. Please keep them coming!
I really like the concept of multiple lines in one trail. You get so many options out of this. That's not only smart, but also efficient and pretty cool, because you can play around lots more.
Hi Phill, again a nice video to watch😊 For the tiny tool shed I have few suggestions for you here below. *Shed Inn ---> The trail is calling *Fix an' Go with mini Bro *Shred Shed -->when things do not go as planned *Ready, Shedy ...Go...
More trail building content? HELL YEAH! I love everything you do man. Edit: wowowow that double double line you took through the new trail flowed way better than I expected from a cut through. Really shows how your Phil specific skills are not only constrained to riding the bike but, like you said, filming and building as well. So cool.
Dude your backyard is pure dreams, maybe some day you decide to turn that property into an airbnb (so that I could maybe one day have a chance to ride 😆)??
So pleased you’re putting the effort into how your trails sit in the landscape. Many RUclipsrs just want to make the biggest gnarliest features without any consideration for nature or the character of the trail. Have an extra 50 cool points! 😎👊🏼
I think you're my favourite rider, Phil. In my dreams I ride half as beautifully as you do. You and Haley are doing amazing work on your project. Well done!
My god the amount of work you guys are putting into your trail network is crazy mind boggling! Keep it up Im sure the reward of ripping it will be all worth it in the end. Huge thumbs up!
You get a better return on labor investment by having multiple lines you can switch between. The permutations of how you hit X, Y, Z features explodes much faster than having a linear-only (normal) trail! So interesting, and lively too! Also the jock jumps are so cool!
Just got back from Sedona and HOLY SHIT that White Line looks so much more intimidating in person. You guys are nuts! (No I didn’t hit it, I watched from the rock face just below) You’re doing some amazing work here Phil! Keep it up my man.
Was writing about the stakes and how dangerous it would be to leave them untouched, but I'm glad to see at the end of the video that he went ahead and leveled them up with the logs!
For the bird house with tools I was thinking of the names: Tool house, Pine hill shack or something along those lines. Replies with more ideas would be lovely.
Man Dudeee!! Finally someone that feels the same! I wish I could do RUclips for a living but In South Africa it ain't such a big income solution... Thanks for the great videos Phil!!
Great video Phil. Can't image how you're feeling after long days of crushing and moving huge tectonic plates. Arm gains gonna have you lookin like Thor by the end of your trail build. Trail is looking Nice!!
@@SkillsWithPhil My gf is living in Toronto... I´m in Germany. We didn´t see each other for an entire year... I really start to become depressed. We actually wanted to marry last year. But I also do not see any end to this... here we start getting a problem with the delta variants and ppl who are sick of staying at home. This year we have elections. I´m afraid, this will become a catastrophe but hope, it doesn´t. Only time can tell.
Damn Phil ... I'd been slightly critical a few months back when you solicited our opinions. Obvious you were serious and listened to your fans, cause you've been crushing it lately. You've had more entertaining videos (anything Highland) but as far as quality I think this might be your best work.
sweet progress, hey Phil look for an automotive scissor jack, it is compact and can slip into tight spaces and jack uo to about 12 inches. its usually cheap and would be easier than the multiple 2x4 and hammer trick. anyway cool to see progress and looks like you guys are having fun build your playground
I agree. Had i had one that's what i would have used . I actually checked to see if any places had farm jacks in stock. But by none that were close did and by the time i either bought one in person or gotten it delivered, it would have taken longer. The 2x4 trick is something i figured our just by looking around trying to work with what i had.
Great video Phil. Was wondering if you still had the Huffy Carnage from a few years ago? You should give that bike a try on Toads Road and see how it holds up.
I am new to building, but can't you add a left turn berm using the rock wall as part of the backing and elevate the trail along the seemingly downward falling wall to a right turn berm over the wall.
The birdhouse is literally a Gear Box
ahah clever !
Working like the Egyptians did it. It's great that you and Hailey work together. Great lookin' trails...kudos to you both.
Thanks for sharing dear friend 👋🤗
Have a wonderful day. God bless you 🥰🙏🍀💞🌾
Super solid rock work. You really earned this feature but it will last Forever!!!
It is nice to see your adventures again. Have a great summer.
I really enjoyed this whole series. This is such a great looking trail. I love that you have different options for anyone that isn't comfortable on the more difficult features or for days you just want to take a different route.
Phil its always the small details that make the difference and make a long lasting memory of the place you visit.

With lumber prices where they are this might have been the most expensive project to date
Such a good comment! 😛
Phil may need to invest in his own plank mill at this rate.
love the focus of honing in on the unique character of your trails - looks great!
New trail looks like a lot of fun

Looks good! I love building with rocks. They're a lot easier to find than dirt around my property.
Love this Phil....what an amazing piece of land!
Looks RAD! Nice touches here and there makes it even better.
I like the ‘Lil Phil Station’ or ‘Dabin Cabin’ tool shed.
This video is so much more than what the description and thumbnail lead you to believe! Rad new trail!💪💪💪
Looks like the trail building is getting better all the time 👍
Dude your backyard is pure dreams, maybe some day you decide to turn that property into an airbnb (so that I could maybe one day have a chance to ride 😆)??
Can't wait for your next vid! Trail building is so satisfying and I learn some stuff when I watch you riding too!

Kudos on that rock wall, however much work you put into that, visually it's amazing!
That looks like so much fun to ride! Of course you make it look easy -
Trail system looking RAD!, you had become a landscape architect 🤘😎 Well done 👍
Love the trail videos but as an automotive engineer for Toyota I find these trail building videos very interesting good work buddy!

Those wall building skills are exceptional! Beautiful work and clever problem solving!
Awesome video 🔥🤟 PitBox
The B.I.R.D Box: The Bicycle Impaired Repaired Depot
☝️ ☝🏽 This ☝🏾☝🏼
LOVE the tool shack!
I have no idea how I got here. I don't even MTB...at all. But I watched the whole video and it was awesome! You have a good eye for this, great work.
Let’s all appreciate the hard work That goes into the video videos #TeamFill
Rusty Adjusty is too cute!! Pick that :)
We all just gonna ignore this video quality? Trail looks amazing. Phil looks happy. Content the best its ever been!
Phil that was some amazing trail work! B line looks like a blast to ride. So many line options.
It wouldent fit right if you didn’t call them “tree tools”
That tool shack is brilliant 👍
Awesome video Phil! Really enjoyed this one!
Every trail should have a B-Line!
It allows people of different skill levels to ride together.
Was writing about the stakes and how dangerous it would be to leave them untouched, but I'm glad to see at the end of the video that he went ahead and leveled them up with the logs!
I appreciate people who wait until the end of the video to comment. I did think about leaving the stakes as is knowing that it'd boost comments :P
For the bird house with tools I was thinking of the names: Tool house, Pine hill shack or something along those lines. Replies with more ideas would be lovely.
i dig the rusty adjusty.
Call that birdhouse "woody toolpicker" 😉
Starting to come together like a rug that just ties the whole room together.
Love the trail building videos! Gives me ideas for my backyard trail I just started!
pretty dope vid. There is a pretty net lifting trick using a 4x4 post and a hand crank trailer winch
Great video Phil :) thanks for the effort as always :)
Wooowww! Impressed I am!
Man Dudeee!! Finally someone that feels the same! I wish I could do RUclips for a living but In South Africa it ain't such a big income solution... Thanks for the great videos Phil!!
These vids are so fun to watch🤘keep up the hard work 🤙🤙
Gold as always, Phil! 🤘🤘
We need another backyard trail building vid

I don't mountain bike but I always find your videos fascinating, keep it up, you put out great work
Phil, you do a great job at producing videos! Thank you!
So cool great job
It coming home 🏴 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
This might be one of my favorite Phil video yet, fantastic job!
"Routines scare the crap put of me" I didn't even know this is how I felt until you said it, Phil. Thank you, I thought I was crazy! Great stuff man.
This is easy spelled as ADHD (aka superpower)
I like how Phil is walking the rock like a stubborn dog 😄
Great video Phil. Can't image how you're feeling after long days of crushing and moving huge tectonic plates. Arm gains gonna have you lookin like Thor by the end of your trail build. Trail is looking Nice!!
Great work . That trail looks so fun
Looks well good mate
Phil, keep doing your thing. Another awesome video, so glad I’m getting to watch it.
i liked this video a lot. and the trail is amazing!
Can’t wait for the new trail build!!! By the way, I think that mini-tool shed is a fantastic idea and more trail systems should have them
Problem is that people just steal the tools.
That looks so fun!
LOVE THE TRAILL BRO
Great job my friend, may you grow in all aspects of your life and glorify God for the rest of your days in all that you do❤
Dream set up
I’d love to see phill buying, then absolutely shredding his back yard trail on a road bike/ gravel bike or something 🤟🤟. Keep up the sick content
When we will see phill back at Whistler shredding dirt merchant and a line love the videos
The border is closed still until further notice and I'm not really banking on that changing too soon.
@@SkillsWithPhil i hope they do soon tho!

@@ANTheWhizkid hope everything goes good
He needs another flat next time aswell😂⚔️
Imagine buying this house in the future and finding out it has a kickass bike course on it
And that you're way too bad to actually ride it.
RIP
I always think about that when building trails in my woods!
he could build a air b and b shed and people wood stand in lie for the chance
That trail looks like the flowiest thing ever
Phil Kmetz, He’ll Yeah!
Sheeeesh routines scare the crap out of me too bro
YOU HAVE TO GAP THE WHALE TAIL!
Definitely not possible with the current setup. Not enough speed.
You should build a flight deck like berm peak. Then...
Damn Phil ... I'd been slightly critical a few months back when you solicited our opinions. Obvious you were serious and listened to your fans, cause you've been crushing it lately. You've had more entertaining videos (anything Highland) but as far as quality I think this might be your best work.
Love the trails! 💙
IDK why but the Kazoo killed me at 13:15 hahahaha
Waawwww Phill!!! Very enternaining and beautiful video!!!
Man I love these videos

The best tools are the ones that you have available. There's almost always going to be a better tool. I would have used a farm jack had i had one.
And dude you are very innovative with trail building
The Tree biker box
AYOOOO MY BOY PHIL KILLIN IT
By far one of your best videos 🔥🤘👌
You should get a hi-lift jack Phil. Kinda scary at first, but they make quick work lifting slabs like that.
I agree. Had i had one that's what i would have used . I actually checked to see if any places had farm jacks in stock. @@SkillsWithPhil Word. Yeah will be a pretty solid addition to the homestead there. Place looks pretty dialed
Great video Phil. Was wondering if you still had the Huffy Carnage from a few years ago? You should give that bike a try on Toads Road and see how it holds up.
You should call the birdhouse the Pit Stop

Great video! Looks so fun to ride, I look forward to my invitation to ride lol.
A seesaw would work well here in your design.
Handy Tandy tool chest
Great use of the land
are brains are pattern recognizing machines i love that
