  • Since we first built Berm Creek it has undergone quite a few changes, but none that make it look like a normal backyard. This week we focused on making Berm Creek beautiful by adding rocks and plants. In the process, we actually made some serious improvements to the trail to make it ride better.

Jump over that little flower garden you made...
Actually, it would be cool to make a north shore arch over it, linking the 2 berms together. If you decorated it with some hanging plants underneath it would look pretty nice.

Hey Seth, take this from a "landscaping expert", instead of walking down forward you can walk down backwards with a wheel bearing front of you it would make it a lot easier for going down the hill with the wheelbarrow, this is what I do by Steep Jobs and it's surprisingly sturdy

I'm only 12 and you have gotten me into mountain biking. I went to Woodend in Melbourne and there was some blue trails there. It was amazing. I just started a new hobby because of you. Keep up the great work! Love you.

Things that could be added to berm creek.
    -Teeter Totter
-Skinnies that go high up into the air. They could go behind the first berm and high up through the trees. Kinda like the north shore skinnies.
-Dirt Jumps, finding space would he kinda hard but I'm sure you could make a a few if you got creative.
Super technical stuff- You could make a little section that is super technical. Like a really rough rock garden or something of that nature.
Obviously some of these are not all that realistic but they would be pretty cool. I really enjoy these trail building videos. Keep them coming.

Same here. Although I live in an area where fire danger is so high that in my area it's so hot and too dangerous to use gas powered tools. I just use a shovel a Collins axe and a soil rake it still works. And right I cant ride because I am super busy. Also my brakes broke after I had my last big crash and my back wheel is flat.

Omg I’m 14 and I started watching Seths videos when I was 12 and ever since I’ve seen his inspirational projects and ideas I have completely fallen in love with almost all types of biking besides just mountain biking. Your great riding and sponsors quality bikes persuaded me to get a DiamondBack Line and it is a limitless bike with many high end features that most bikes at that price point don’t include. I now do mountain biking, and am also a BMXer. I’ve also recently began to enjoy road biking a lot. I don’t have a road or hybrid bike but would be interested in buying one soon. Literally no joke I was riding to multiple cities near me that are 10 - 15 miles away, and when my parents found out they were more confused than mad because it would take me 3 hrs to ride 12 miles there and back while stopping at stores. But the point is, thank you Seth, you have made me a addicted, dedicated, and more skilled rider and I am so happy you make videos for everyone else who likes mountain biking etc.

The next time you'll rent a rototiller, drop off the front wheel when you use it, only for transport. Anyway, nice job!

You could try a fence along the bottom of the garden behind the flower bed with a stealthy bit of North shore to add an alternative line (could taper to a skinny or a ramp launching you back over the flower bed).

After watching all of your older videos I've finally learned how to bunny hop, American style. I see you've done many many videos on this topic so I wanted to point out the eurika moment for me. I noticed your first move was to shove the bike in a forward motion very hard. Not necessarily preloading the fork suspension, but just pushing the bike forward. Before, I was lunging my body backwards into manual and then trying to complete the steps. But without that initial push forward I never had enough strength to compensate for my backwards movement. Took me a few tries to get my leg movement in sync with the bike but I was able to do small hops by pushing the bike forward. Thanks for all the videos.

Hey man, I live in Squamish BC and I rode the trails around there on an old diamondback kids bike for years. As long as your bike goes and stops, just keep riding it until you can afford something new.
