Building a JUMP/FLOW Trail in their BACKYARD! | MTB Trail Building in California

- Recently I was contacted by Kevin. The owner and operator of Prodirt Parks. He invited me out to california to help him build a flow trail in a clients backyard with jawdroping views, loads of rocks, and incredible dirt for shaping.
Backyard trail building doesnt get much better than this. We got to build table top jumps, rollers, big berms, a step up and so much more! I couldn't be more happy with how this one turned out.

Really good simple clean quick content. A lot of youtubers don't seem to realize that the average person doesn't have half an hour to watch a video. You were able to pack a lot of satisfaction into 6 minutes, and that's on point. Hes asking us, so lets help. Share this video or any of your favorites and invite your friends to subscribe!
Thanks a lot man! I really appreciate this!
^This guy gets it. I can't stand watching 15 minutes of someone eating cereal to get to the meat of the topic.
Oh yeah this guys built jumps at Red Bull rampage now here’s a 3ft tabletop
not even 3
I think its for the kids
@@raymondjarvis2419 it looked small even for kids
Just A Couple Edgy Teens they can always make it bigger
U realise it’s his backyard lol
I just cannot understand how there aren't more people subbed to you?!
Wow!! that is incredible!!! I am Bennett's grandma!!
That’s a backyard😳
...yea... insane.
Is there a mansion that we don't see?
@@henrylaird9028 2 actually!
@@BackyardTrailBuilds damn.
I wasn't convinced until I saw it was doggo approved at 5:42! Great stuff Seth!
Shut Up and Ride so are you both called Seth or is this mistaking for seths bike hacks?
Every 1000 subs is one new video they’re both Seth, are you new to the channel or just dumb?
@@higaddrip2583 Nope, I'm Matt, cheers!
The Lone Trail Rider new to the channel
That dirt is beautiful! must be so good to work with
i can tell this is in the sierra nevadas just by looking at that vegetation and landscape. willing to bet it's near reno, nv in the vicinity of tahoe as well. great video!
Solid edit. Looks fun!
Colab with seth’s bike hacks
Tell him not me! Haha I'm not the one that needs convincing!
Backyard Trail Builds 😅😂
Angus Frame probs cause he dosen’t have a BIG ASS MACHINE
Angus Frame bruh he does it by himself and uses a shovel not 5 people and a massive machine
Trail rider agreed I’m a builder of the solo variety and it’s hard graft. But it’s worth every minute. Iv got a spot in England Leeds coming up to nine years old. Work in progress!
That was absolutely awesome 😎 that’s a cool 😎 thing you did nice trail
5:11 not as fast as your dog🐶😂🤣🤣😂😍
Wow!! That looks so smooth
Great Job Seth keep it up brother you're crushing it!!!
That is a backyard!! Walks out in to my garden and has serious envy!! The US has a lot more open sections compared to my crowded part of the uk.
I can’t believe how quickly that came together! You guys slayed that build 🤘🏼
You should build a wail tail. They are really coo and it would be a great way to add to your drop line
Thank's so much..first video I've seen and makes me want to turn my backyard into the same I have just over an acre and now looking for ideas to make this happen..thanks
OH MY GOOOOD!!! Last time i checked you had around 400 subscribers and were giving away a sign and talking about your music! Time goes by so quickly! Glad for you man!
Hahaha hell yea dude! That wasnt too long ago. Been grinding and workin my butt off! Hopefully itll pay off! Glad to see ya checkin back in buddy!
At first o was worried this was just gonna be a Seth’s bike hack clone and I was not super excited to see that but watching more and more yes there are similarities, hell they are making the type of content of course it’s gonna be similar, but I can definitely see a difference in tone appearing and it makes me excited to have two separate people making content that I enjoy but still satisfy a different part of the same meal!
Definitely no clone here! Ive been building in my backyard for over 5 years and thats all this channel is about. I think we both similarly care a lot about the shots and primarily shoot with a dslr camera so they start to look similar. But over the last couple months all hes doing is backyard stuff so people seem to think im stealing from him. Oh well! Thanks for the comment dude! Mucho appreciated!
Solid video!
This is awesome dude! Congrats on getting that opportunity to go help build that cool trail
I like the johndeer et 1:30
Gotta get you and Seth's Bike Hacks together!
Dont tell me that! Tell him that!
Nice video
I love watching your videos. I can't wait for the next one
ok this is amazing, the only thing is that you put so much work into it but its kinda small
ALSO, YOU NEED TO COLAB WITH MORE BIG RUclipsRS LIKE SETH OR PHILL
Thanks, Nick! We were hired to build the line for some 11 year olds, so thats why everything is a bit on the small side!
Good job
Great Video!
Dude I am stoked to see more of these collabs where you travel to build trails in other peoples backyard. Such a rad idea! Yew! Killing it my man.
Thanks, Ben! Id loooove to do more of them. We'll see though!
I live in Spokane and have a perfect yard for building trails but I don’t have the right tools or experience to build full trails. But I have built wood jumls
Oliver Barrett all you really need is a few shovels. Building trails is all about learning through trail an error.
@@Dnt_Push i see what you did there, clever.
That looks just like my yard! The natural terrain there is almost identical to Central Oregon.
This Breakbeat 4:30 with the quality of this video is great..
I always hear Max Fredriksson use this on his vlogs
U know the song?
Another great video
Seth’s Bike Tracks
💯
Amazing video bro! Keep up the amazing work.!!
Just started watching your channel love it so far. Side note I’m assuming this was for the kids. Not trying to sound like a judgmental prick but their parents missed out on a great opportunity for their kids by allowing them to create and use their imagination to build the lines. That’s half the fun of it!
Love watching the videos man. Inspired me to build my own backyard trail and we just finished up a skinny bridge. Thanks for the great content
Heck yea dude! Thanks for watching. I love hearing about and seeing your guys builds too, so thanks for saying something!
That’s a yeehaw🤠🤙
Backyard trails rock!!!
Amazing video! Looks like a blast! Hopefully you get to do it again!
Siqq vid man 👊💥
That is soooooo cool, ur vids r epic
Still making mint vids mannn
great vid, sure its fun traveling out to push dirt on someone elses property!
That's dope, if I were a kid I would be stoked to have that in my yard to play on. Good work kid 💪🤘🤙👍😎
Totally worth skipping out on some work! That line looks like a blast!
Great build!
After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.
Music scared me in the begging I thought it was Billie elish for a sec.
BTB what state do you live in?
Where in CA were you
He was in Truckee
What city was this in ? Looks kind of familiar
Truckee
@@BackyardTrailBuilds I live in Tahoe, there's so many great trails out there.
Whats a step up
My bru come and build on my farm in South Africa I've got a self catering guest lodge for you to stay in free of charge just want some exposure for our area !
Just curious, is this a 1,000$, 3,000$ or 5,000$ dollar project?
Kevin was the one to make the deal, but I do believe it was around the 3k price point.
Cool. I was just curious of a ball park idea.
That looks sick, I want to be a traveling trail builder when I grow up..
Me too
You should never have to pedal on a good flow track, remember that lol
First and foremost, thanks for the wonderful content. The way that it blends sharing informative knowledge with building stoke is really cool. Where do you call home base? I have 10.5 acres in Park City, UT with a ~40' deep canyon running right down the middle and a ~20' high landscape berm above it. Even if I could do a video call with you to get your input on how to make the most of it, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, is via RUclips the best way to buy merch? Any hats or jerseys in the works?
*edit - I see that you're in STL from looking at your website along with a whole slew of merchandise listed there. Let's chat and maybe I can get you out to PC next spring.
Oh, and I second the @Seth'sBikeHacks collaboration. You and he should come out to PC next spring and do some filming with locals Eric Porter and Ken Block. There is a chance that Ken is going to end up being my neighbor and if that is the case there may end up being trails bridging his land and mine for bicycles, pit bikes, and some sort of tabletop for Raptors/side by sides.
Hey man these videos are awesome but it would be so sick if you built a trail with way bigger jumps and features
I made a backyard MTB trail, I am still working on a drop and more.
is this in truckee?
Yup!
Hi
Nice work dude! Glad to see you rocking a new location. Was it a challenge to film a new place?
Where is the link to your Patreon?

Absolutely it was a challenge! I thought all my video was gonna be blown out and what not from being in direct sunlight but I managed! Haha.
❤️ Really love this mtb video! Keep going you are really talented! I just started my channel too 😃
Might have you down to help me when I get my land this year. Awesome stuff man
Sounds like a plan!
What part of california?
Truckee
Come help me dig secret underground track - England 🏴 👍👊😛
I am building trails with my mum
Some people are fucking lazy it’s fun building your own trails it’s even more fun to ride them knowing you’ve built them
Truth! ✊
Some people also dont have time to build! That's when I swoop in!!
Backyard Trail Builds that’s fair enough enough I still think some people could find time to put the work in
If I ever have land, I'm calling you first. 👍
That's what I like to hear!
Do my man a favor and like the video
Your covering hundreds of dollars of nice rock but maybe in your area you got plenty I could sell them here in North Carolina
I’m moving in
if i paid a group of guys to come to my place and build and they built this, i would be pissed.
I'm sure it was owner approved dick.
Not first
It's not theirs, It's not yours. It's *OURS*
Seth, that you?
Yes, that is my name lol.
Backyard Trail Builds lol ma dude thought he was on to something
At least 1 jump they cant clear. There going to get bored.
Holy god😐
What kind of pansy can't get a track back on an excavator?
Bro build something big. Non of this tiny stuff we wanna see big jumps and big burms you actually use.
haha this was built for kids! Not for you!
@@BackyardTrailBuilds your a kid?
@@harryrout nah man, we were hired to build this for some 11 year olds.
Table top is a Trick not a jump
xTDS smh man, smh
Honestly this trail doesn’t look that good
Aceofscooters I reckon it was solely for his kids who looked about 8 or 9 so I reckon that’s why they didn’t make it too hard or anything
Jumps are way to small total waste of time
Euan Wight comment is way too small, total waste of time
He flew on a plane to build small jumps hahahaha
