XB 33 has been doing me Solid as my primary only Speaker besides my cell phone.. the Sprinter's car audio is completely not working. i dont ever touch the Deck in the dash.
I bought the Motion Boom Plus if I remember rightly around June time and for it size boy does it pack a punch.But on Sunday 21 August I received my Tribit Stormbox Blast from Amazon in England and my goodness me it makes my Motion Boom Plus look like a toy in more ways than one.The Tribit ways a ton,but the power the speaker produces is just on another level,but really determines the bass is the different sound modes. There is Party,Classical. Jazz and Music. And the Music mode is the one that puts out the least bass,while Party Mode and the other modes brings out the bass like nobody's business. Flossy at times you overhype a product but in this case your enthusiasm for the Tribit Stormbox Blast is justified. Keep up the work Flossy

The highs and mids on the Motion Boom+ are pushed to the front and the bass sound seemed to get lost but the Tribit sounds a little more balanced and the bass was right there with the mids and highs. Thanks for the review.

You know so many other reviewers are calling the Motion Boom Plus harsh….but in this review (I know Flossy’s got the custom EQ), it’s the Tribit treble that sounds a little harsh compared to the boom+. The boom+ sounds clearer with more pronounced vocals….but still on my headphones the tribit sounded harsher than than the boom+
From the mic I was thinking the Tribit was just ok and wondering why people was saying this beat the Boombox 2 which it still doesn't. But once you said it can hang with it I was also surprised. Personally I would still go with the Boom plus because I the carrying strap and the looks suite me
I listened to this on my Motion Boom + and the Tribit does go a little deeper! I was going to try and order the tribit but it’s sold out. I’ve tried a lot of different EQs on the Soundcore and I feel like they rushed this product it could have been better. I like the weight of the Soundcore though especially as loud as it is! I don’t usually care about RGB lights that’s what I have my partybox for lol 😂 but great video Floss!!
The boom plus will get better with software updates. It has the hardware. We just need a somewhat good tuning to work the eq off of. Currently it's garbage.
@@alexlittig7927 I agree entirely. That bad boy is loud as hell. I paired my HK onyx 5 and 6 together and compared in sheer loudness and it’s as loud as them both and plugged in but the bass on the HK aren’t even in the same discussion.

@@1Andres Hi Andres, prior to ordering the Tribit, I had bought a Sony SRSXC500 from Best Buy. I tried that for about 2 days but ended up returning it because I didn't think it was worth $400. The sound was mediocre at best for that price tag. I can honestly say that the Tribit Stormbox Blast sounds about twice as good as the Sony and at a fraction of the price. I bought two Tribits and it was still cheaper than that one Sony speaker.

Nice Review! I hear the motion boom plus has a known by soundcore heat issue and already working on a V2. Have any idea if this Tribit has any heat issues in temp/sun areas?? I'm looking for a garage gym/beach application. This sounds perfect if it doesn't fail at the beach like I'm hearing the boom+ does.
also the Motion Boom+ has USB Type-C charging so that's one less cable to carry around with you, but it has 20 hours battery life so you gotta charge it more both really dope speakers, just wish the Tribit had looked a bit slicker, Soundcore make better looking products imo

It doesn't seem to. The reason the MB+ has the issue is that it appears to be almost too air tight when the the boot is installed. If you don't push the boot in, the radiators won't expand, but then again it isn't waterproof when the boot isn't pushed in. I noticed the same thing! It was supposed to be 20% off, but once it went live it was $20 off! Nice bait and switch! LOL!

They said its now available on Amazon with same code only $20 off now. Expires 7/5. I may buy it to see if I want to replace my Dolphin SP-2100RBT. This would be way more portable but not sure how much quality and loudness id be sacrificing for the portability.... If its close id make the swap. Maybe Flossy can speak to this?

So there is no current option to set the color to a static/solid color. I believe that anything that has RGB should feature this option if you want some "mood" lighting without a full-on party mode experience. Some folks like the constant color changing or pulsing to the music, I was never a fan but love a lighted speaker. It's really a bummer because I love the look and would probably love the performance of this particular speaker. Not sure if Tribit can work some magic with an update or something, but to me, if you're gonna go all out with RGBs on either side and shining on the speakers themselves, you gotta add a few more options to customize them. That is my one and only critique since I dont own the Blast. Tribit, please add this option and I'll gladly buy 2.
Got two of this for TWS on stereo mode and its a beast. It shakes my table and picture frames on the wall. On the siden note, I also had the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus but returned it for a second Blast. The bass is deeper and the RGB lights is a plus.
The Problem I see for me on the Tribit is if it does not have (USB C IN to charge ) then I cannot plug in a Powerbank.. I play my wking d9 speakers on full blast all day long helped by plugging in a Powerbanks soon as I switch on my Bluetooth speaker, that way it will deplete the Powerbank first & keep the Bluetooth speaker battery full hence keeping it playing at full volume wattage all day

It just arrived, at the Flossy52 $20 off discount I might add.. FLOSS HAS DONE IT AGAIN.. i just got back from a 3nt beach mini vaca,.. one day coming off the beach I went poolside & played a lil Bob Marley's Greatest Hits at about 60% volume.. this speaker had the whole outdoor pool area filled with sound.. before going to the pool I rinsed off but still had a few grains of sand by the woofers (much like Floss, I like my equipment to be prestine) so for stunting & "Floss" purposes, before leaving the pool area I dipped the speaker, fully submerged in the pool.. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN the looks on people's faces when the sound was uninterupted & the lights were still on when I pulled the speaker out of the pool.. I pick the soundcore base on your review your sound meter shows soundcore is louder with a 1056 l think the tribit has just a little more bass but the sound was a little muddy with its highs and mids not as clear with its sound ...Tribit 90 watts vs 80 watts on the soundcore and still not louder...Tribit more than twice the weight a lot bigger....And the Tribit still use a old style charging cord...The soundcore is way better balance with there bass and highs and mids plus louder....Not enough to take the crown yet and still the under $200 Camp of all times the soundcore boom plus the best of times with all wins no losses

Why is it impossible to check the battery level on the device itself by pressing the power key for a long time so that the energy level is displayed on the side backlight? This is well and practically done, in MIFA WildBox, when you can check the amount of energy without an application. There is no possibility of automatic shutdown in case of inactivity, there is no independent and independent operation of the device, there is no work with a microSD memory card, you have to turn off music during a phone conversation, so you need to use a second smartphone (the second device is designed only for music with the Tribit storm box blast). The sound is excellent, but the device, unfortunately, leaves much to be desired in its functions and capabilities.

43 over 33. But you'd have to listen to both to find your sound signature that YOU like. I'm a Sony fan. Never liked JBL because of the lack of lows.

exactly, the Motion Boom+ has a pretty obvious bug with its dynamic processing, literally eating the bass...
The Tribit is a far better speaker.

@@1Andres Hi Andres, prior to ordering the Tribit, I had bought a Sony SRSXC500 from Best Buy. I tried that for about 2 days but ended up returning it because I didn't think it was worth $400. The sound was mediocre at best for that price tag. I can honestly say that the Tribit Stormbox Blast sounds about twice as good as the Sony and at a fraction of the price. I bought two Tribits and it was still cheaper than that one Sony speaker.

Nice Review! I hear the motion boom plus has a known by soundcore heat issue and already working on a V2. Have any idea if this Tribit has any heat issues in temp/sun areas?? I'm looking for a garage gym/beach application. This sounds perfect if it doesn't fail at the beach like I'm hearing the boom+ does.
also the Motion Boom+ has USB Type-C charging so that's one less cable to carry around with you, but it has 20 hours battery life so you gotta charge it more

It doesn't seem to. The reason the MB+ has the issue is that it appears to be almost too air tight when the the boot is installed. If you don't push the boot in, the radiators won't expand, but then again it isn't waterproof when the boot isn't pushed in.

So there is no current option to set the color to a static/solid color. I believe that anything that has RGB should feature this option if you want some "mood" lighting without a full-on party mode experience. Some folks like the constant color changing or pulsing to the music, I was never a fan but love a lighted speaker. It's really a bummer because I love the look and would probably love the performance of this particular speaker. Not sure if Tribit can work some magic with an update or something, but to me, if you're gonna go all out with RGBs on either side and shining on the speakers themselves, you gotta add a few more options to customize them. That is my one and only critique since I dont own the Blast. Tribit, please add this option and I'll gladly buy 2.

Got two of this for TWS on stereo mode and its a beast. It shakes my table and picture frames on the wall.
On the siden note, I also had the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus but returned it for a second Blast. The bass is deeper and the RGB lights is a plus.

The Problem I see for me on the Tribit is if it does not have (USB C IN to charge ) then I cannot plug in a Powerbank.. I play my wking d9 speakers on full blast all day long helped by plugging in a Powerbanks soon as I switch on my Bluetooth speaker, that way it will deplete the Powerbank first & keep the Bluetooth speaker battery full hence keeping it playing at full volume wattage all day
MotionBoom + wins. The lights just kill it for me. Both sound good tho but the motion plus is the King.
You can turn off the lights tho :-).

It just arrived, at the Flossy52 $20 off discount I might add.. FLOSS HAS DONE IT AGAIN.. i just got back from a 3nt beach mini vaca,.. one day coming off the beach I went poolside & played a lil Bob Marley's Greatest Hits at about 60% volume.. this speaker had the whole outdoor pool area filled with sound.. before going to the pool I rinsed off but still had a few grains of sand by the woofers (much like Floss, I like my equipment to be prestine) so for stunting & "Floss" purposes, before leaving the pool area I dipped the speaker, fully submerged in the pool.. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN the looks on people's faces when the sound was uninterupted & the lights were still on when I pulled the speaker out of the pool.. I pick the soundcore base on your review your sound meter shows soundcore is louder with a 1056 l think the tribit has just a little more bass but the sound was a little muddy with its highs and mids not as clear with its sound ...Tribit 90 watts vs 80 watts on the soundcore and still not louder...Tribit more than twice the weight a lot bigger....And the Tribit still use a old style charging cord...The soundcore is way better balance with there bass and highs and mids plus louder....Not enough to take the crown yet and still the under $200 Camp of all times the soundcore boom plus the best of times with all wins no losses

Boom Plus with custom EQ will make it as good...I did a A/B review vs. the standard EQ and it's a world of a difference.
This has a custom EQ too, And BOTH speakers here are set to my best custom EQ's and the Tribit is better.
Listening to this video on tribit xsound go. It has dominated the under 3000inr market here in india. Some quality speakers by the brand.
Why is it impossible to check the battery level on the device itself by pressing the power key for a long time so that the energy level is displayed on the side backlight? This is well and practically done, in MIFA WildBox, when you can check the amount of energy without an application. There is no possibility of automatic shutdown in case of inactivity, there is no independent and independent operation of the device, there is no work with a microSD memory card, you have to turn off music during a phone conversation, so you need to use a second smartphone (the second device is designed only for music with the Tribit storm box blast). The sound is excellent, but the device, unfortunately, leaves much to be desired in its functions and capabilities.
