I love these videos man. You're very thourough and honest with the current and prospective medical students. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule.
I've watched several of your videos and I think that, for the most part, they will be helpful for students. They are a little verbose, but still useful. Viewing this one I'm reminded that Osler used a Ford stethoscope, Dr. White a Ford-Bowles, our professor, who was President of the AHA, used a cheap, light Littmann, Augrey Leatham used...well, you know. Few physicians of stature drape one around their necks.
Hello DocOssareh, I was wondering if you could do a video expressing your opinion on Osteopathic Medical Schools. DO you have friends that are DOs, what do you think of the educational diffrences, did you apply to DO schools, would you recommend apply to DO schools, etc. I notice that there is not a video on the subject on your channel.
Winter break🙌🙌 on a marathon video viewing on DocOssareh channel 😆🙌🙌🙌Because our time is precious, make the most of it. Thanks again for having such an awesome filled with goodness channel!! Happy New Year 2015!!
Thanks doc, it's always motivating to see someone who has walked the path that I want to be on. The tip at the end was especially helpful. Sometimes simple things need reminding!
Yes I have volunteered in a hospital and hope to go back very soon because it provides me with great insights. I will definitely check out that book-it sounds really interesting. Thank you so much for all of your help!
Hey Doc, how do you feel about the chalkboard vs whiteboard? Which do you prefer? I personally am leaning towards the chalkboard because of the classic, academic feel but am worried about how it ages. What do you think? How much did you get yours for?
Hi, I've always been interested in being a doctor + am currently applying 2 college where I hope to study pre-med. However, I'm worried about whether or not I can handle the courseload. I'm not a natural "science" person and have many other interests I hope to pursue at college as well. My greatest worry is tht as a doctor I won't b able to devote time to these other things. I know being a doc is worth it, so I was wondering if you had any personal insights/experiences that may qualm my fears?
Missed you bro! starting 2nd year of med school with books you recommended.. path is cool but microbio and pharmac really getting on my nerves :/ one quick question, in US ppl give their step one after 2nd year of med school.. have you given that already? whats your score?
It's surprising how much these mundane things offer a glimpse into the actual world of the medical student. Also, you look so tired -.- which is also giving me a glimpse into the texture of your day
volunteer in the hospital. see if it's something for you. if not, read Outliers - it explains how people become who they are in terms of success. I t helps you get things straight with what you want to do in your life
can you tell us how are you being examined it is still on paper right ? and what books ? and how do I study to that kind of shit and practice ? I am clumsy so my hands are my biggest enemy
It would be nice if you worked in the entertainment industry as a comedian or something, seems to suit your personality. But oh we'll, you chose to be a doctor.
Welcome back! Thank you for all the time and effort you dedicate to this channel. I hope everything is going well
