My rough estimate is that the COP should have been around 2.8 because the oil filled heater uses roughly about three times the energy the heat pump did in similar weather conditions to maintain 22*C. I cant do a head to head comparison because the temperature outside is never exactly the same. PS: If you have insulated or wooden walls, expect lower power consumption, we have non-insulated concrete walls which absorb considerable amount of heat.
bro you did right thing in right time..... yesterday i was watching your all video about ac till night,,,,and suddenly you uploaded next one,,,,, thats just awesome thank you very much
Hi charlie, brisbane, queensland, australia here, weel done, if you remember me, i had ask you about this agess ago. Kelvinator 7.1. I ended up running my aircon at 18deg on heat mode. I have solar on roof. I was quiet surprised i got some energy back in threw the quater. We can get down to - 3% and i shut all doors except bedroom door, it kept the whole house warm, nice and snug for winter. Yahh thanks for the info. 👍👍👍
Ah, that was almost a year ago! By Feb, the weather had already started becoming warm, so I thought let's do this next winter. Yup! Heatpumps are crazy efficient, I was surprised it only used 5.7kwh my oil filled heater uses almost 2.8 to 3 times that.
I use Hisense 24 Inverter for heating. When i set temperature to max 30c, i get in app that air temperature that comes out is 31-32c? Is this normal? I think this is low. Thanks
I service them myself. It literally is just washing down the condenser with plain water, cleaning the filter and if you want to go one step further, remove the front panel from the indoor unit and use a coil cleaner brush to remove the lint from the coil.
@@TechGuyCharlie yes I have watched your video on outdoor unit service.. But u clean indoor by yourself as well...? Do you use water in indoor unit as well?
It actually works! I've warmed our living room with this plenty of times by leaving the door open, it still ended up using less energy compared to an electric heater. But it works because this is a big 24K BTU unit, might not work with a smaller one.

Waiting for this one mate like the other ones...very informative 👍👍keep postin..
Such a through video.
Thanks a lot for all the information.
Glad the video was helpful 😊
Amazing details, Can we control the power in heating such you do in cooling (40%, 80%,...)
Thank you and, the manual power control only works in the cooling mode, while the power adjusts automatically in heat mode.
Very informative video. Thank you for thorough report.
Glad it was helpful! 😊

Is a Daikin better for this heating job?
Hi i have installed pvc panels in my bedroom will ac cooling be boosted in summers by this?
Yes
Very informative video well done
Hey charlie! Can you make a video please on the latest features of ONEUI14 android software update. Thanks! 👍🏼
Hey bro. Ac service kisse karwate ho tum?

@@TechGuyCharlie yes I have watched your video on outdoor unit service.. But u clean indoor by yourself as well...?
Do you use water in indoor unit as well?
How is your ac working after using it for these months?
Working fine, these ACs are designed to last 15+ years, provided you do regular maintenance and keep the condenser clean.
What if you let the door open to warm the other rooms, can you do a test if it works
It actually works! I've warmed our living room with this plenty of times by leaving the door open, it still ended up using less energy compared to an electric heater.

@@TechGuyCharlie i was thinking to put one above the entrance door but I don't know if its gonna work
Is it happened ever that the achieved temperature is different than set temp?
Nope! It always heats the room to the temperature that is set on the remote!
Is there a price difference between cold only and hot and cold unit?
There isn't much of a difference, a Hot and Cold unit is totally worth the power savings.
Proper Job!...
Would this heat and cool a two car garage ?
Of course it will work fine in a car garage, seen many households have mini splits in their garage. Just make sure its appropriately sized.
Brother can we use energy savings mods in heat mode ?
Hi, the manual power control feature works only in cool mode. 😊
@@TechGuyCharlie that's means no power saving in winter 😭
Thank you
