1st and foremost TECHNE your unscripted reviews are amazing! Tested these after seeing your video and I have to agree these are an awesome pair of budget based headsets. These headsets go head to head with the Razer Blackshark v2 X as they are both $59 headsets. I have to say personally to me the MH630 beat out the Razer Blackshark v2. They are comfier Fewer pressure points due to clapping force A removable 3.5mm A better sounding mic (personal opinion) I call these the best entry-level budget based headset. Major complaint about the Cooler Masters is how do you replace the ear cups. Razer Blackshark v2 X ear cups come off with an easy twist.

Great review, this convinced me to get the 630! I don't know if I'm just so used to 20khz headsets or what but I kinda feel the highs are a bit shrill sometimes and I'd like to fix it if possible. Other than that great headset and great recommendation.
I got the 630 and I play on xbox. when talking with your friends the mic pics up the speaker sound causing your friends to hear them self and your games. basically an (echoing). You can see your mic indicator popping up as if your talking when shooting in call of duty. I even tried lowering the volume and positioning the mic. doesnt help. Not sure if this is common but deff want to hear some feedback. Gonna have to return them for something else. its a shame i did like them other than that big issue. Keep up the videos!

Ah ok, thanks for the reply Adam. I've just received the G3 and followed your instructions to crank it up on the software, but it's really soft on my PS4. I've cranked up the volume on my ps4 too, but it's really soft. Would you happen to know how to rectify this issue? Thanks!

I bought them too, but I find that the maximum volume is too low in my opinion. Bass is strong and perfect, but overall max volume is not even close to 50% of max volume on my previous Thrustmaster Y-300CPX headset. Is there any way to boost volume up on this device? I pretty much like them except the max volume output :(

I'm struggling with plugging the headset wire into the headset itself. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong, but I seem able to pop it in without twisting it, and no amount of twisting it either direction pops it in any further. Any it is easily able to pop back out. This may be related, but when using it the sound has a weird squealing background noise to sounds like speech. Am I doing something wrong in the "pop in and twist" motion that's less obvious than it looks from the video? Is it not fully in? How much force is necessary while twisting? Should it be unable to pop back out without turning it counter-clockwise? Edit for others: I was trying to plug the end that was supposed to go into the computer into the headset, and vice versa.
Which would you say is better? This one? Or the MH751/2? I'm strapped for funds but a recent electric blow-out exploded the cable on my DT770 PROs. I want something with good clear balanced sound and comfort and these Cooler Master headsets are my only options.

some good and cozy headsets there. I would take out the 751, and the other 3 are all very solid. most cozy goes to the arctis, best sound goes to the 630, v2x is in between. but again all are great
Do you experience crosstalk issue with this headset? I found many people online that experience crosstalk with the MH751/2 and MH630/50/70, but i haven't found any reviewer that mentions this issue. People say it's because of the bad electrical design in the headset, i found online that headsets that have the headphone and mic share a common ground and use one single connection usually have this issue, like the aforementioned Cooler Master MH series and the HyperX Cloud series.

Since then I’ve been trying to find a new jack for these headphones which are the best I’ve ever had but i had no success. I bought the MH670 which is the wireless version of this. And compared to the MH751 i find them a little bit lacking. The software eq's are horrible in that compared to making it flat so i would recommend not even using that buggy software. It keeps resetting every time you disconnect as well. As for the audio, its pretty good. Way more bass than the MH751 but a slightly smaller soundstage. They are comfortable but not as comfortable as the MH751, but that was a hard one to beat. The mic sounds slightly better than the one in that but other than that its mostly the same headset. So if you are thinking about upgrading to the 630 or 650 i would skip however if you want a wireless MH751, go for it. Its worth it. Nice video man as always! I do have a small request for a headset, the TYGR 300 R from Beyerdynamic is a open gaming headset with standalone mic. I'm really curious to see what you think of that one.
@Mystic Muffin The sound itself was great on the ps4 but the issue is the volume. It's definitly hearable but i like my sound volume a bit louder, where the bass gives you that feedback more often to pinpoint sounds. I'm expecting that they will bring out a update for this because i believe they did that with the MH752 as well. But this is a personal preference though so don't let this push you away. The PS4 in general is terrible with headset volumes.

Hi, I bought it from online and received it just now. While I’m trying to listen the sound using Pc and mobile phone device, the sound appears on my right earbud only but the left earbud has no sound. Does this mean my headset is faulty or is there any settings that I have to adjust before using it?
HolyCrown he said he would make the video soon. Idk if that’s true or not but hopefully he will. As far as I’m concerned, the mh630s are more comfortable. Better cushioning material, lighter weight, and also has swivel. The shape of the ear ups are probably better too. The Redragon still is very comfortable tho. The mic is better on the Redragon and probably had better sound. Redragons also have better noise cancelation (it’s also $10 cheaper) build quality on both are good. I’m leaning towards Redragon more but still not entirely sure. The overall ratings for Redragons are better than coolermaster on Amazon too. I hope this can give u some more Info. It really depends on personal preference.

I like the comfort of the 3's a little better (yes the 630's are amazing as well) but the 3 feels like they are floating on your head, the sound is a bit more immersive in game, and I really like the style/look of the 3's. this is not saying the 630's are bad at all, they are great.

How was it? Does it still hold up until now? Im concerned on the durability. Some say the rotating ear cup get loose after a while.
They're still doing great, as with anything, if you take care with it, it will last. Mine are still performing flawlessly.

yeah, this set is a bit diff from basic 20-20 gaming headsets. the highs are up there.

Hey Techne, help me out here will ya. Would you recommend this MH630 or the likes of MH751, Arctis 3 or the Blackshark V2 X?
some good and cozy headsets there. I would take out the 751, and the other 3 are all very solid. most cozy goes to the arctis, best sound goes to the 630, v2x is in between. but again all are great

Do you experience crosstalk issue with this headset? I found many people online that experience crosstalk with the MH751/2 and MH630/50/70, but i haven't found any reviewer that mentions this issue. People say it's because of the bad electrical design in the headset, i found online that headsets that have the headphone and mic share a common ground and use one single connection usually have this issue, like the aforementioned Cooler Master MH series and the HyperX Cloud series.
Hey, great video as always, super impressed with the mic quality of the headset. i know this is a pretty late comment lol, but now with Black Friday sales i see the logitech g635 at only 10 bucks more compared to the mh630. Hi, i know I’m late to the party but i bought these headphones on april 2021 and the jack broke around december 2021. Since then I’ve been trying to find a new jack for these headphones which are the best I’ve ever had but i had no success. I really wasted a lot of money and time in finding a new one so I would be really grateful if someone helped me with this issue. Thanks

I bought the MH670 which is the wireless version of this. And compared to the MH751 i find them a little bit lacking. The software eq's are horrible in that compared to making it flat so i would recommend not even using that buggy software. It keeps resetting every time you disconnect as well. As for the audio, its pretty good. Way more bass than the MH751 but a slightly smaller soundstage. They are comfortable but not as comfortable as the MH751, but that was a hard one to beat. The mic sounds slightly better than the one in that but other than that its mostly the same headset. So if you are thinking about upgrading to the 630 or 650 i would skip however if you want a wireless MH751, go for it. Its worth it. Nice video man as always! I do have a small request for a headset, the TYGR 300 R from Beyerdynamic is a open gaming headset with standalone mic. I'm really curious to see what you think of that one.
@Mystic Muffin The sound itself was great on the ps4 but the issue is the volume. It's definitly hearable but i like my sound volume a bit louder, where the bass gives you that feedback more often to pinpoint sounds. I'm expecting that they will bring out a update for this because i believe they did that with the MH752 as well. But this is a personal preference though so don't let this push you away. The PS4 in general is terrible with headset volumes.

When I'm in an Xbox party with my friends they can hear my game and themselves. It's going to be a pass for me because I don't want to get kicked from parties. That's the only issue with this headset. Does anyone else have this issue?

they are good but i sold them to a friend and got the MH650 because i couldnt stand the static noise in the backround,i think i has to do with my motherboard soundcard so from now on i only get usb headsets no problem

Does the mic work on all devices (Mac, PC, XBOX, PS4)? I am seeing way too many high priced headsets that only have audio passthrough for Macs. Which blow my mind when you can buy a cheap $25 logitech headset that work on any 3.5mm device, sure they sound like crap but they completely work on everything. So does the mic work on all devices?

Small head person here, I find the kraken clamping force too strong and uncomfortable. The Mh630 goes over the ears which was comfortable.

Hi, I bought it from online and received it just now. While I’m trying to listen the sound using Pc and mobile phone device, the sound appears on my right earbud only but the left earbud has no sound. Does this mean my headset is faulty or is there any settings that I have to adjust before using it?

HolyCrown he said he would make the video soon. Idk if that’s true or not but hopefully he will. As far as I’m concerned, the mh630s are more comfortable. Better cushioning material, lighter weight, and also has swivel. The shape of the ear ups are probably better too. The Redragon still is very comfortable tho. The mic is better on the Redragon and probably had better sound. Redragons also have better noise cancelation (it’s also $10 cheaper) build quality on both are good. I’m leaning towards Redragon more but still not entirely sure. The overall ratings for Redragons are better than coolermaster on Amazon too. I hope this can give u some more Info. It really depends on personal preference.

I like the comfort of the 3's a little better (yes the 630's are amazing as well) but the 3 feels like they are floating on your head, the sound is a bit more immersive in game, and I really like the style/look of the 3's. this is not saying the 630's are bad at all, they are great.
The Techne Yeah I agree that the 3’s look better! The mic doesn’t appear to be as good but I might just get them for now until I can get a computer with a dedicated mic in the future :)
