Personally I think Apple has only been going backwards on the Music app design, making the album art smaller, bolder text and confusing navigation. Oh and no more cover flow.

I still have an iPhone 5 with iOS 6. I have like millions of updates on it for iOS 10. Never did it. Kids at school showing off their iPhone 6s plus or 7.
Still the best combo. IOS6 is gorgeous and runs smoother on the 5. Only other option I think would be IOS9 jailbroken Iphone SE, with the IOS6 themes installed :-)
No, that's the one place not to do it. IOS9 is the most stable to jailbreak. Best to look at this channel for the install videos. Then Google "make iphone look like ios6" for some links. I haven't done it yet but might on the Iphone SE. So it will be like a super powered IOS6 Iphone 5 :-)

Yeah, its the best IOS look, hands down is 6. Apple hasn't really innovated much lately. Just removing features (headphone jack) and adding silly things. Iphone SE is the last great phone they will build (in my opinion).

The iPhone 5 was my daily driver when this video came out. I loved it except the battery was total garbage
I've always loved the pitch black version of this phone. Whenever the screen was off, it looked so elegant. You couldn't distinguish the edges of the screen when off and the glass looked like a continuous flow from top to bottom. I compared this one to the Space Gray version of the iPhone 5S, but somehow it doesn't feel the same.

Well 3GS and 4s was supported a year or two longer than their non "s" version. I mean if the iPhone 4 stops at ios 7 the 4s stops at ios 9, the 3G stopped at ios 4 the 3GS stopped at ios 6

I've used the iPhone 5 for 4 years now and just 1 month ago I decided to pull the trigger and upgrade. The phone treated me well and it is one that I will most definitely hold on to forever. My reason to upgrade was the fact that I had no more storage, other than that I had little to no complains as to how the phone performed on a day to day basis. Hands down best iPhone ever

It was interesting to do this with phones to the 5s. After, it’s not cool unless it’s a speedtest. Although i believe that removing skeuomorphism was a big misstep and should be reverted very soon, I think videos like this are very cool. I very much wish apple would allow us to use our original firmwares on our devices and all IPSW files would be signed. Unfortunate apple is strict though. I want an iphone 5 on ios 6 in slate, because it was the prefect phone in my opinion with that pair. I remember thinking “That thing’s huge!” thinking of one. When I saw one, I was hooked, but never had one. I hope I can do it someday, and I will try. 2012 was steve’s last planned out year and I loved it, even without him. I apologise for the blab, but I needed someone to know how I feel of this phone, yep a phone!

I remember the older iOS versions. I remember when I had an iPhone 4s and iPhone 5 back then with iOS 3-6 how much fun it was installing jailbreak tweaks for your iPhone. Now you have to wait so long for a jailbreak to come out and they're just not as fun to do anymore.

Still have and use mine, activated November 19, 2012. It's on its third battery but other than that it only has some scuffs and scratches. Pretty solid phone if you ask me. Will be sad to see it go.

It's been 64bit (well both 32 or 64 depending on the device) since the iPhone 5S. iOS 11 will be exclusively 64bit so that's why the iPhone 5 won't be supported.

lol. Honestly I started with a 4 inch screen and don't see the need to buy something closer to a tablet i cant fit in my jean pocket. Phones have evolved in to an entertainment device 1st. For me, its a phone first with the bonus of other items. I can fit it perfectly in one hand and text plus reach all apps.

Lol you probably replaced the screen for 100+ dollars and the batteries for 30 dollars each that was 160 dollars ou could have bought the iPhone se I had an iPhone 5 and I switched carriers to get a better carrier and when I'm about to switch carriers a worker lowers the iPhone SE from 200-150 then I asked and they said it will be 125 if I switched and I will also get an ok Samsung phone for free so I was like ok and I just paid 125$ for and iPhone se and a not so bad Samsung it's called the Samsung prime and I pretty much kept the both phones great deal

I had a friend.,he has an iPad 4 and I just have an iPad 2.I was sad because I am a big fan of ios 10.and iPad 2 can't be updated to ios 10!but actually I was thinking ...why have advanced things when I can at least have ios 9.3.5 right? So I gotta think the positive way .Ya so........ For all the iPad 1,2,3 or old iPhone users ..well cherish. Your own technology. Watching this makes me realise the importance of having the perfect iPhone with the perfect software. iPhone 5 was that; best hardware running the most crisp iOS. There wasn't any bugs and it pretty much just works.
iOS 6 always look very neat and professional. The frame rates scrolling through the settings list and the album cover flow were the smoothest among all iOS.
iOS 6 was the best classic update.

UR WRONG. iOS 6 supports geekbench 3 and iOS 10 supports geek bench 4. They use different calculations to calculate a score. So the 1640 on GB3 is closer to a 1200 in GB4. There is absolutely no difference in processing power between the different OS.

My first ever Apple product was a white iPod touch 4th generation which came with iOS 4 or 5 (i can’t remember exactly). I bought it for £160 with my own money which was a lot back then but it was new when I got it! I distinctively remember the release of iOS 6 and I updated from iOS 5 to iOS 6 on the iPod. Not much changed but I was so excited with the changes! It was the first ever time I had experienced a new version of iOS. Up to this day, i still become extremely excited for EVERY release of iOS when it is revealed. It’s sad that my first ever apple product will probably be discontinued any times soon...... I know this video is about iPhone 5 but iOS 6 just reminded me of this. Still got that iPod to this date, all working perfectly, I mean sure, about 3 apps in the entire AppStore are comparable with I but who needs 3rd party apps on iOS 6 when you got an amazing operating system to enjoy! Just recently, my favourite mobile game ever became incompatible with iOS 6...... clash of clans.... At the time of the release of iOS 7 i was so upset that my iPod touch wouldn’t be compatible with it, but now I’m glad it wasn’t. Ahhhh good times good times. Rest in Peace iPod. I miss iOS 6. I wish I could get iOS 6 on my iPhone 6S 😓🙏👏👏👏
