I have been terminally bitten by the Land Rover bug. I bought a 1966 Series2A 88” , about a year ago. All of its quirks and eccentricities make it the most fun car I have ever owned. Cheers Geoff.
Love your work Geoff! One thing, I’ve heard you say this a couple of times “here in the southern hemisphere the sun rises in the east and sets in the west”. It happens up top too, trust me I’ve been there.😂
I really enjoy your videos as I do with Roaming the Outback's ones. Both of you are genuine. Convert to getting followers to join you in small groups...it may work.
Great video, especially love the geology info, it's a good reminder for me to slow down and look at the natural features next time I'm on the trails up here in British Columbia.
Superb video mate.. really enjoyed it. I had fun on the Holland Track but the fun stopped when I discovered broken spring leafs in both front spring packs.. a long way from home and deep into the Holland Track - every single bog hole was a really worry after that, waiting for a complete spring pack failure. Made it all the way back to Adelaide though! I am very much envious of your built in seat on the front of the Series 2.. superb design feature hahaha :)
Congrats on hitting 1 million channel views! 🥳 New subscriber so catching up on other videos but really enjoying the Unique 4x4 series and Origin series especially the Origin of 4WD tyres. Might be an idea for another video to do a more in depth episode of off road tyre evolution starting with the Dunlop Road Grippers and Michelin XS to brand new tyres such as hybrid tread patterns or the new Toyo AT3 recently released in Australia.
Hi Ian. Thank you for your kind words, yes the 1 million mark is big achieve, made possible by great people like yourself and thank you for subscribing. Thank you or the feedback on the videos you are enjoying. We do have a video on off tyres called the Origin of Tyres. I have placed a link down below; ruclips.net/video/2OhJpRtYcsk/видео.html Many thanks, kind regards, Geoff
Thanks Geoff. I have seen that video. I was thinking purely focused on off road tyre development and how they have changed over time from tube tyres to radial tubeless and now hybrid off road tread patterns like the Toyo RT.
Hi Geoff, I am not into outback camping but you do make it look very appealing, one question if I may, does any group (council included) maintain these tracks? Or is it left up to mother nature? Drive safe and take care, best regards from a Kiwi living in Melbourne.
Hi Gary. We are currently doing the final touches to the USA version and intend to release it via Apple TV/I Tunes, Amazon Prime and Vimeo. Keep you posted Gary. Kind regards, Geoff
You are the number one man, if you and Brett come and seen me 50yrs ago I would have told you the land rover County is the best Model they brought out. I've been after a fire tripod for years, where abouts do you store yours at night.
Hi Greg. They County is a great model and I am differently a fan as I am sure Brett is? Well I did use to keep it by the camp fire at night, but it has gone missing? It must be in your shed Greg? ha ha :) Kind regards, Geoff
Hi G H. Yes we are working hard to bring it out so everyone can enjoy RTR. Though the film has to be classified in each country which it is released in which is time consuming, though we are hoping to have it ready to be released in the UK and US shortly, watch this space. Kind regards, Geoff
I agree with the previous commentator - if you could issue your trips on DVD I think you might find quite some interest. Thanks from Arthur (South Africa)
Hi Arthur. It is a complex subject. Yes we can get it on DVD though it is expensive. The issue is getting it distributed (sold in stores and online etc), there is then the added problem that you have to get it classified for each country it is sold in. This is nothing short of headache and we have been working at it for years. Kind regards, Geoff
@@seriouslyseriesaustralia Hi Geoff - many thanks for your reply to my comment, and for explaining the difficulties of DVD production. Maybe one day you might see your way clear to attempting it, but I do understand that your position is a difficult one. Your trips are so interesting. Many thanks from, Arthur (South Africa)
G'day mate, I don't have Apple TV! Also I know this might sound rediculous but have you thought of a DVD? Most series Landrover owners I know are that demographic.....
Hi Hubcap. Good suggestion but sadly the distribution is the issue at this point in time, though we keen to do a special edition DVD for our key followers like yourself. Many thanks, kind regards, Geoff
Hi there Motorhead69ifcation. We are currently making the final touches to the US version of Road to Ruin and we hope to have in out state side in the coming months. We will keep you posted, also be sure to follow Seriously Series to get all the updates. Kind regards, Geoff
Just ran across this right before bed. Can’t wait til breakfast tomorrow, good chance to sit and watch over a coffee.

Thanks Duncan as always what a great adventure Duncan, why would you drive a new 4x4?? Thanks again for your support mate. Kind regards, Geoff
Great video mate 👍
Cheers Tony. I am glad you enjoyed it. Kind regards, Geoff
Amar la naturaleza y conducir despacio es parte del espíritu Land Rover, sigue así, lejano compañero.
People are going back to DVD format, that could be a good way to get the film sold. Great to see you out bush again.
Sales would never cover the production cost!

I’d gladly purchase or rent a copy but don’t see it on iTunes in the USA. Any idea when it will be available over here? Good luck with it all matey…

Geoff, why not get RTR out to the UK/US/EU market? Been waiting in anticipation for it being non-Aus based.

No need to hurry with a Landy of good pedigree and style.

Producing and shipping them is very expensive and much work. Not worthy for such a small production. A paid download would be better.
