These vehicles were the result. This footage includes video of the Land Rover Perentie Prototypes, Australian Army Perentie Trials and production vehicles.

When was this ? LR weren't without 6-wheelers although more commonly as the Range Rover marque.

Real shame about the distorted audio quality. I saw in the comments that this is the only known recording about. Real shame, but otherwise a brilliant account of this vehicle. I want a 6x6 Perentie now!

This vehicle would be hard pressed to keep up with Pinzgauer 6x6, particularly in deep water

Notice at the 6min 45sec scenes that "Bomber Beazley" (Federal Minister of Defence) inspects the 6x6, drives the 6x6 and backs it up inside a waiting Herc transport then parachutes it down to earth... :)
