I think a 50yr old and 16 yr old being acquaintances is fine. It's not like a friendship but more like a uncle type vibe. I'm not saying that some of those relationships wont be weird , but in my experience i have a friend that's 30 and its like an uncle / niece type relationship. Like I call him an old man all the time and he shields me from un-innocent things like female dances in black cat. We don't hang out much but when we stumble upon each other its becomes a very pleasant interaction which can consist of like him passing on "wisdom" or advice, and me just yapping about my school life or things I'm interested in. A friendship between a minor and non-minor is completely attainable, it's js society has completely swept it off the table as an acceptable thing because of creeps in the past.

I love playing vrchat with my brother on private servers but occasionally we play on public servers and- I have no words for they say to me and my brother.
