If you had the innate kneel down to put leg irons in instead of you kneeling down, then the key holes would be faced down making it that much harder for the inmates to try to pick the locks.
The belly chain is applied much too loose, the prisoner could easily slip them over his hips. It should be tightened so that it fits snugly around the prisoner's waist. Prisoners are put in restraints for security reasons, not for comfort.
1. If you put a inmate into the back seat of the patrol car with the waist chain to tight the inmate will not be able to breath. 2. In the back seat setting down you would be locked in the back seat and under he eye of the transport officer. 3. Use the dog snap to tighten the waist chain when you get the inmate out of the car. 4.Never take the master lock off the waist chain.
A belly chain is to be snug around the waist through the provided loops on the shirt, then padlocks and hooked. Then double side of the cuffs up to prevent inmate access to the keyhole from the front. And never bend over in front of an inmate to shackle his feet unless you want knocked out. Black boxes are only used on level 4 and higher security risks or Escape Risks.
I had the unfortunate experience of being put in these once. Was transported, then when the officer took them off again, I felt relieved. Did not have the black box tho and the leg irons weren't attached to the waist chain. Very unpleasant experience
Tahzib Chowdhury Good things that came out of it were I straightened out my life and got out of the situation that caused me to be put in chains. Never got arrested again, but now in another situation I could get arrested (non violent minor crime). Just waiting for my court date
Shackle keyholes should face down, and the Inmate should kneel on a bench, the Officer should never kneel behind him, too easy to be kicked. Also, the upper palm should face up, the lower palm down...
The upper palm should have been faced down and the lower palm faced up and never wrap the chain around them make the inmate spin then tell them to take a breath in and tighten and lock. And the leg shackles key holes always face down never up
Actually it doesn't matter with the black box. As long as they can itch their nose and pee. When I transport I keep one hand up and another down, so that way he can eat and pee. Plus with his hands in the opposite direction he is less of a risk than together.
I've seen this being used, I've never seen the inmate cuffed with the hands in this position. I've allways seen the inmate handcuffed in the hands in the parallel position ( palms facing inward, hands side by side) with the black box on.
Well, both positions are done in practice, but as far as I can see, the parallel position ist the most common. Some departments, however, prefer the stacked position over the parallel position as it is slightly more secure. It's also called the "I dream of Jeannie" position, which is in fact pretty much euphemistical. You may hear that the stacked position is even more "comfortable" for the inmate as it does not put that much stress on the wrists compared to the parallel position. But I'm not sure. I did train both and the parallel position holds your arms in a very unnatural position. So both positions are not what you would call comfortable. But you should alway bear in mind that this is a high security restraint, and it's definitely not made to make the inmate fell comfortable, but eliminate risks. And considering that, it does a great job!
The first guy in line gets the crap end of the stick the black box and all most uncomfortable devices whole rest just get habd cuffs normal and leg irons lol glad I never had to do this ever
I had all that happen to me before going to jail for a year isn't fun I'd say that for sure then got transferred to prison a month after for the rest of my sentence

This video makes my brain hurt. Double sided cuff to the top, due to cuff Keyport being to the front and being a higher risk for escape. Also, note that the black box is only used on inmates that are an escape risk or above a level 4 security risk. Also, if an inmate has larger legs ask for a soft set to apply or ziptie cuff. Make these changes and make a new video. Look out for the officers watching and learning. This video poses a high security risk for new employees. Never cuff an inmate like this, being in business since the 70s or not. Bad business practice. Also never bend over in front of an inmate to shackle their feet, unless you want knocked out. Also cuff inmates 2 on 1, not 2 on 4, that's not her security risk.
The guy looks pissed off while he has the chain wrapped around his waist. It's not funny being put in full restraints in front of the rolling camera, even though it's only for demonstration.
If you had the innate kneel down to put leg irons in instead of you kneeling down, then the key holes would be faced down making it that much harder for the inmates to try to pick the locks.
Truth
"while it's completely impossible to eliminate all risks...." if you have the knowledge, you can break out of anything
Imagine going into work to be told you’re going to be recorded wearing a jumpsuit and being shackled ! 😂🙃

jamie cullip what do you mean by dog snap please reply
There is a dog hook on the end of all our chains

Wonderful wonderful presentation! Now the inmate is taken to have the Tunug used on him, and then he will be placed back into his cell.
I had the unfortunate experience of being put in these once. Was transported, then when the officer took them off again, I felt relieved. Did not have the black box tho and the leg irons weren't attached to the waist chain. Very unpleasant experience
Becka Dillon were u arrested
Tahzib Chowdhury Long story, but yeah
Becka Dillon sorry to hear

Becka Dillon's Page how did it go
I find it kinda' funny that they're using a school bus to simulate a prison bus.
Can I try that?
Shackle keyholes should face down, and the Inmate should kneel on a bench, the Officer should never kneel behind him, too easy to be kicked. Also, the upper palm should face up, the lower palm down...
I totally agree. When leg irons are to be applied, it's the prisoner who should kneel down, not the officer.
+Tylor Wilson gjfhfhkcj I don't even reply to your game videos
most shutout for you
They should be facing up, not down..
If the keyholes face down, however, you can't access them! How will they be removed afterwards?
I Like The Gang Chain
Not used unless you are a level four or higher.
Place the single piece of one cuff into the double piece of the other cuff and twist.
This can not be done with the black box.
The upper palm should have been faced down and the lower palm faced up and never wrap the chain around them make the inmate spin then tell them to take a breath in and tighten and lock. And the leg shackles key holes always face down never up

Was that a real inmate or a police officer

The leg iron keyholes face down.
👍

That's why he looks a bit pissed. Perhaps he lost a bet.
When do you make a New video
WTF is "above the hips but below the waist" ?
I had all that happen to me before going to jail for a year isn't fun I'd say that for sure then got transferred to prison a month after for the rest of my sentence
Wereis that as uk have those cuffs
You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. You must love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus the anointed is Lord! Repent and be baptized and believe the Gospel.
That’s a rather, odd, technique for applying the cuffs initially. 🤔
Where are these inmates from? Norway? 😂😂😂
They look like they are from a mafia gang
United States, clearly. Norwegian prison inmates don't wear uniforms.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, there are some departments that use the black box as a routine on all inmates regardless of their security level.
