I'm telling you the verses of Black Hole Sun have almost the same melody (slowed way down) as Gus Kahn and Walter Donaldson's Makin' Whoopee from 1928.Try singing these verses from Makin Whoopee instead of Cornell's sometime... "Another bride, another June

Kim used his Guild guitar on recording of this song. Chris double the base guitar on this song, but the triads the main riff and solo was all Kim. Chris wrote the song and lyrics though!!

They were beyond any band or style, and still light-years ahead of most even today. The song is Biblical and maybe he didn't even know it. YHWH chose them. That's how good this was.
