Gotta let you know how inspiring this is to see. I started my gamedev journey around the same time as you in 2019 but sad to say I'm no where near your level of proficiency. The reason being my inability to finish projects and to stick with a single development toolset. This just goes to show how important it is to just pick a tool and keep at it instead of jumping around chasing trends. Props to you for all the progress!

Very interesting video, thank you for simplifying things for us that don't have that much experience in the coding world. I am looking forward to all your new games (SNAP especially :)).

nice video. I watched it till the very end.
33:26 how do you run this animations in player with using C++ code?
do you recompile the source code after each reaload button click and run update the DLL /SO file?

yes, when pressing reload some additional code gets added and then it gets recompiled as a dll and then the main program opens the file and runs the function

How old were you when you started (2019)? My progress slowed down quite a lot, so I'm just curious how bad it is compared to others.
You don't need to read the following part. No one cares. I know.
I started at the end of 2021 (I was 13), and spent 2 hours a day on average for a year.
But lost motivation and took month long breaks and my progression slowed down a lot.
I also switched from Windows to a Linux-based system, and from VS Code to NeoVim, so my tools were different and required a lot of hacking around to achieve a usable development environment (which I procrastinated on a lot, cuz it's not as fun as working on something visually appealing, such as games, or images generated with mathematical rules (e.g. fractals))
Now I'm trying to fix my daily routine (mainly my sleep schedule), add healthy habits (running, going to the gym), get rid of bad habits (mainly p*rn, basically done), and slowly re-add programming as part of my day.
I hope I'll continue working on my projects... I had a lot of fun, and I miss it.

May I ask you one question? What do you think perfect life looks like?

I was 14 back when I started learning C++. However I know some people who started game dev at like 11 or 12. I got my first PC in 2020 and since then I'd say most of my time playing games was replaced by making games. I have no idea what my average time programming would be. Sometimes I take week long breaks, and sometimes I really feel inspired working on some project in which case I might spend 8 - 10 hours (or whatever time I have) programming (not strictly programming but everything that comes with game dev - audio, art, code, playtesting) that day.
For some time now I wanted to switch over to Linux to try something new, there are just certain apps which aren't available there like Paint.net or Visual Studio.
      Some day it will happen...
